Now I perfectly agree with the belief that Naruto and Sasuke will surpass Hashirama and Madara.
But surpassing doesn't mean they have to be able to pull out bigger monsters or explosions. In the last chapter we saw Madara and Hashirama just pulling out the biggest weapon.
In my opinion, Naruto and Sasuke do not neccesarily need to be able to pull some kind of bigger Susanoo or form, in order to surpass them. (Although they were probably have something along those lines when they fight.
Skill is also important, while Hashirama had enormous Chakra reserves Madara was still able to fight on par with him despite having lower chakra reserves.
When Itachi and Sasuke were fighting, Zetsu noted that the Sharingan is like any other tool, its not the one with the best weapon that wins its the one who is more skilled.
I am just saying that when Naruto and Sasuke fight it out, while it will probably escalate to DBZ fighting eventually that doesn't mean we won't seen weapons and strategy in the fight.
I am just trying to point out that we will probably still see Ninja fighting and not just monster fighting. (This has long been discussed.)
