Interesting, but one of the members who brought out the issue of Genma and the other Jounin - two out of the three Elite Jounin guards - forgot to mention one thing that these Jounin were low on Chakra. I can get a scan if you want.

I think you are under-rating Hidan a bit. Shikamaru seems smarter than Kidomaru and he accomplished what he did - it was mostly plot, I can easily argue this - through the backing of his team. He led him to a trap and the reason why it all happened, well, I don't need to repeat the entire manga chapter. Regardless, you bring out good manga points.

Only Hidan is the arrogant idiot. Kidomaru actually thinks and analyzes his opponent in a battle.
