Supposed Viruses

Have you ever been surfing the internet and a virus scanner popped up to where you couldn't get on the internet whatsoever until you bought and downloaded a program. I want to know what you guys think about XP Internet Security? Is it fake and just a way for some scammers to rip money off you? Or is it real and just annoying?

well for one whatever you do dont download that program cuz its just gimmick virus thats really annoying. i should know cuz this is exactly what happened to me before. i didnt buy the thing once i downloaded it, but just did a system restore and got rid of it. the second time (after the system restore) it popped up i just ignored it and nothing happened to my comp. its just being very annoying lol.

The only thing is I can't use internet explorer at all. I have to use google chrome...

Hey all. I looked up the XP Internet Security thing that got onto my laptop. It is a rogue virus that scams you out of money. Go to this site to find out more about it so it doesn't happen to you too.

Do not use the remover on that site. I'm not sure what it'll do. Just read the info on XP internet security.
