Yesterday, we witnessed one of the most ugliest moments in Asian games' history. The controversial decision was made in a boxing match between Sarita devi of India and Jina Park of South korea. The first round was evenly matched with nothing to choose between both boxers. The judges gave the round to south korean. The second round witnessed the vintage Sarita destroying her korean opponent giving the korean no chance to attack back. The trend followed the third and fourth round at the end of which the korean seemed battered and bruised. Ofcourse, the Indian won the bout. Thats what everyone(including the koreans spectators) thought. But to everyone's surprise the korean was adjudged the winner.Yes, the indian is robbed off her siver/gold medal. The favoritism of judges caused India atleast a sliver medal.
South korean cheated. Sounds familiar?Well u have to go back to 1988 olympic games.
There were multiple instances happened in the bout which seemed suspicious from referees part(she didnt bothere to count which could have resulted in the loss of korean as blood was coming out off her nose).
The mongolion and another indian also lost their respective matches to souh koreans in what seemed to be a biased decision
We should respond to such favouritism.
We r youth. we should do something about it.We should make sure that no such incidents occur again.
I ask all narutobase members to protest against such cheating by boycotting korean products like hyundai, samsung,LG etc.
Its time to protest against such controversy.
Lets together change the face of the boxing by acting against such injustice

I think she did the right thing .Sarita's case wasnt an isolated event. Same thing happened later in the evening when her brother was adjudged the looser when he clearly dominated the match. Judges made three bad decision, all in favour of south koreans. It doesnt seem co incidence.
Last commonwealth games witnessed same scenario where pinky was adjudged the looser when she clearly dominated that bout.In olympics also, same thing happened. So it important that sarita responed to it in the manner she did bec it time to fight against such in decision

Maybe but dats not the case only with Indians.Anyone can be victim of unfair decisions and btw Judges r humans too so human error is aways there.
But as Sportsman 'ethics' is must imo

I suppose u didnt watch the bout. Korean was battered and the referee should have given the korean count twice which could have resulted in her knockout. The referee didnt do it.She forgot to do a routine thing only in this match. So it was fixed
