read a comic. superman improves in every comic storyline. he has trained or else he wouldnt control his abilities. . and he fights stronger opponents each time to keep the story interesting
alot of the time he fights crime and worries about earthly things which should be left for the humans to worry about.

in any superman fights u can read or see, the only thing superman would ever use is throw bunch of punches, which also have no real versatility since he doesnt know how to throw a lower kick or an upper kick or even perform a combo, and then if those doesnt work he just tries his laser eyes hoping he will defeat them by burning them in half.

Superman punches would literaly be useless against him since he would just be punching himself and if he tried to use heat vision janemba could just space warp it and redirect it into superman at point black range.
and what can janemba do in return? supermans body shrugs off nearly any damage. a universe exploding didnt stop superboy prime with guardian armour.
there you go superman is a noob, you dont just fly into a fight assuming you will win just by repeatedly punching somebody and if that doesnt work assuming that heat vision would save you, when there plenty of other heroes that have much more skills and teqniques that can fight different arsenals of enemies that if mindlessly trying to beat someone up or fry them with heat vision wouldnt work.
apparently it does because superman has defeated and overpowered beings with thousands of years of fighting experience, and beings with martial arts. hell just on the justice league theres wonder woman whos what you want in a fighter (she has many years experience, knows martial arts, and weapon combat, and is every bit as strong as superman is. so yeah try and debate wonder woman vs goku. and then imagine a martial artist but with every bit the strength and speed of superman.
superman moves planets, goku destroys planet, it doesnt matter, his strength doesnt come to goku arsenal of techniques
