Superman and Batman

So I was watching Man of Steel last night and I got to thinking that they haven't made an even halfway decent Superman game. . .ever. Now the main reason for this is almost blatantly obvious "He's too ****ing powerful." But I had a thought, what if There was a game where a team up between Superman and Batman? Now obviously I'm no game designer, but with the success of games like Arkham City and Injustice, the idea that a DC game would sell is pretty solid.

As far as story goes, there would need to be a reason for them to team up, like a threat Superman couldn't defeat by himself, or maybe his powers were zapped somehow and he needs Batman's help while he recovers. There could even be two types of mission: ones where you play as Batman and ones where you play as Superman. The Batman ones would be more puzzle/investigation types, and Superman's could be more along the lines of puzzles that require strength or chasing. Yes the Superman missions sound a little boring for now but obviously there's be combat and again, I'm not a game designer.

I imagine if Lex Luthor or Braniac were to come up with some super project Supes would need Batman. Or he'll even Darkseid would be great.

I would just like to see a proper Superman game that people would actually enjoy. What do you guys think? Is it possible? Or just stupid? What would you want to see from such a game?

An Iron Man game? They come out with so many Marvel games a year (mostly Spider-Man) it's ridiculous.

Yeah, I guess I agree. They could put the co-op feature as well, considering they're always taking it out of the new games, and it was so awesome.
Speaking of comics games, they could make a better thor game as well. He is one my favorite heroes.

They had a decent superman game with the 360 and ps3 launch. It wasn't that great but neither is superman.

I enjoyed the movie up until the showdown in Metropolis at the end. Zod and Superman were completely reckless in their fight. They destroyed everything. Realistically, hundreds/thousdands of people must have died in the cross fire.

This was my only gripe.

The problem isn't the story, it's the gameplay. How in the world do you do a superman game? I suppose they could do Zod, Lex w/suit (Kryptonite), Brainiac, Grundy, among others for villains. It's just, how should the gameplay go.

On the subject of a Batman/Superman game. Sounds cool, but I personally wouldn't want it. I'd love a JLA game. I really liked the JL: Heroes game, but I think most didn't or prefer a different style.

On the subject of Man of Steel, I absolutely loved it.

But yeah, I'd like a Superman game. Injustice gives me the need for other heroes, Superman included, but his own game would be cool. I think it'd sell well.
