Actually super strength is not useless.....
If Madara wasn't edo,
*raikage+Oonoki super strength combination would have owned him
*Tsunade's byakugou would have done so too

So no, it depends on the opponent I say

That's a fatal misconception originating from the given fact that most of the current top tier Shinobi possess some sort of anticipation mechanism or ultimate shield that makes it extremely hard for Taijutsu with speed below superhuman to work in general.

Even more than that, you absolutely underestimate what purposes superhuman strength can be actually used for. Apart from its potential strategic purposes [ ] it finds various usages in actual battle. Kisame, for instance, owes his immane strength the ability to easily wield Samehada, which is quite heavy and could not be used as smoothly by someone not possessing that amount of strength. The same goes for even heavier weapons, like Gamabunta's sword which Tsunade used to pierce Manda's mouth. It is in general an extremely efficient method to deal with huge Kuchiyose creatures. But most underrated is its strategic potential in terms of changing the enviromental conditions, such as creating earthquakes or huge crevices. [ ] [ ] Outside of battles that mostly consist of spamming Bijuu Dama or moves originating from some kind of Dojutsu, these things do definitely hold a certain value.

What I can agree on is that it is useless when it is all the user relies on, which makes them pretty one-sided fighters.

Yup, and she has lightning element as well, combine the two and Naruto's rasenshuriken looks pretty pale :) it should have been her trump card vs Madara, basic rules of fighting an uchiha. one on one, flee. two on one, take the back :)

OT: superstrength and speed are not mutually exclusive. look at guy, kisame, sm naruto, minato, A etc. when you have superstrength, all you really need is to hit once. and if tsunade could land two hits on Madara there's no reason she wouldnt be able to on anyone else.
