We all know that Super Saiyan Goku and the Z soldiers were no match for the transformed Broly in Legendary Super Saiyan Form..but how would he fair against a Super Saiyan 3 Goku?

Broly gave all the z fighters such a humiliating beating that he made them look like bitches. Its was just dumb how they actually "defeated" him. Out of all the villains i think Broly is just the most brutal. I mean damn he almost literally raped all the z fighters. Broly single-handidly have the z fighters the worst beating ever of all the anime.

Actually, Broly became stronger by the minute and had no limit as per the anime/manga. Hence even at SSJ 3 Goku would mess around and test Broly's strength until it was too late and Broly became stronger than him.

by the last Broly movie it was kid Trunks and Goten who beat him... I'm pretty sure Goku would take this

brolly should be in the final episode of dragon ball gt and enhance his power to face the fusion of ssj4goku and vegeta

rather than a monster from a golf ball

plot no jutsu?:D anyway imo its a pretty close battle considering the fact that broly never actually got proper training to utilize his immense power while goku was training with the inch of his life since he was a kid.
The fact that broly is a beast for doing what he does out of instinct alone.
with having said all that, SSJ3 Goku will barely win this epic fight.

If i remember he was like a mud creature or something by that movie...

The original Broly can beat ssj3 goku imo...

Sucks how they had to degrade his power so much since he was such a monster!

But even in the second movie it was Gohan, Goten and Trunks that beat him. And he was stronger in that movie than the first movie according to the wiki, which I realize doesn't mean much.

But it was said the more a Saiyan gets beat up, the stronger they become, so it makes sense. He was a beast. My favorite Saiyan.

But they needed goku's power via the dragon balls to pull off the upset. if the spirit of goku ddnt show up, the planet would have blown up.

You are correct. They did need the Dragon Balls. But no one knows whether or not Goku actually showed up or Shenron just gave them more power and they just imagined he was there... Goten's exact words were "We need more power. I wish dad was here." he never said it out loud though, which I thought was weird. BUT the dragon balls did scatter at the end of the movie, so technically we have reason to believe that Shenron did help... I am going to watch all of these movies tonight IM STOKED
