Can mangekyō sharingan work through someone wearing glasses?

Like, wouldn't Amaterasu hit the glasses and burn the user before it hit the target?

You're probably right...i have been thinking about it for days tho since i see how many anime characters have the whole "cool" glasses look

It wouldn't work anyways, the only way to avoid getjutsu is by lot looking at their eyes but itachi is a different case, i think the only way to beat the genjutsu by 100% is with sage mode and closing your eyes. BSM naruto would be a perfect match.
