[Theory] sun and moon or .....

is it sun and moon or a full moon and a crecent moon??

so this caught my eye when i read the chapter and at first i thought it was the sun and the moon (meaning opposites, yin and yang, etc. - things that have been explicitly associated with naruto and sasuke and hashirama and madara)

and now it seems that they are both moons, one a crescent moon and one a full moon. and i’m wondering what the significance of this is? is it a similar sort of yin/yang concept or is it something different? because they are both represented by moons but just in different stages of its cycle. is it supposed to mean that ashura’s is “full” because he has accepted other people and love into his life?

and then the senju clan or well at least hashirama’s sage mode makes use of circular markings. and naruto’s chakra cloak also is detailed with circles. has sasuke (or madara) ever been associated w/ a crescent moon? i can’t remember.
