The manga has clearly demonstrated that Sasuke was attempting to cut his ties with all he cared about for years. His attempted murder of Naruto was clear evidence of this and he even states this himself.

Yet people still can't realize he did the exact same thing with Sakura and Kakashi?

How bias do you have to be to know that all of Sasuke's actions were because Naruto was his best friend, and then deny that Sasuke had feelings for Sakura despite her being in the exact same scenario?
