I went through the whole entire Summoning Contract list and I'm confused.

Can people own the same type of animal but just a different species?

For example

Blake owns Fox contract

Jeanne owns Snow Fox contract

Grim owns Gray Fox contract

or

Lilly owns Falcon contract

Jimmy owns Peregrine Falcon contract

Rob owns Black Falcon contract

So yeah that's my question can it be the same animal but just different species ?

Contract seal removes all summonings, learn it and you'll be saved from the annoying summons :scorps:

I think if you get permission from the person who owns the contract if you can make a specie of their approved animal it's fine.

Not necessarily. Similar contracts are usually declined. So like, if I were to make foxes and then you made gray foxes, in the end for all purposes in the RP they would essentially be the same thing. Their abilities and behavior as an animal species are too similar for two contracts to be approved of them. The only case is when the animal that you're trying to make a contract for has some sort of special ability. Like if I already made foxes, and then you tried to make gray foxes again, but gray foxes had some sort of special property that makes them a poisonous species with thicker fur and higher senses than normal foxes. In that case you would have a chance of getting them approved.

The key to getting a summoning contract approved, since a ton of contracts have already been made at this point, is emphasizing any special traits of your species if there are any. If your species doesn't have any special trait, then 9/10 times it will be declined for being too similar to existing contracts.

So in layman's terms basically If you wanted a certain summon just explain how it would tie into your character specifically for a higher approval chance?

Not necessarily your character. Just anything special about it at all that isn't in other species of the same family.

When you want to mkae a subspecies of an already approved contract you need permission from the original owner of the contract. Simple.

If you want to make for example a Panda contract, you'd need permission from the owner of the Bear Contract.
