*********** today release a chapter of Sukedachi Nine, written by Seishi Kishimoto(Kishi's twin)( ). The concept is similar basically an eye for an eye, the manga explains it as:-

As Japan's population grows older and smaller, and murder rates sky rocket, the Japanese government began to implement stricter laws against the worst criminals. With even the death penalty lacking the deterring force to stop the most violent criminals, Japan brought back to life a law from the 19th century: the "Revenge" law. This law will now allow victims and their related parties to employ a government special forces agency to capture the murderer and reenact the exact same methods with which the victim died onto the murderer.

I personally found the concept a bit silly but it is a revenge story with some twists and the MC seems like sasuke and art is good.

The flypaper bit was funny akin to the looney toons.

What do you think about it?

Seemed almost corny the way it played out a little over-the-top, but the protagonist seems interesting and it definitely shows some promise.

Apparently he has another version of this manga in a different magazine, too, following a different protagonist (another executioner probably).

I read it,doesnt seem half bad.
Altho you kinda expect for the story to turn to the point where his friend that is tasked to do an execution fails, gets killed and then the emotional bond stuff leads him to break the law and avenge his friend anyway.
That or the news woman will get ****ed up :l

Yeah it was over the top apparently his art is quite similar to Kishi. I think his earlier work was 666 Satan, I haven't read it but many readers believe it was not as over the top as this one.

I can see that happening the amount of edginess in the show will lead to this. The duel thing with the criminal seemed a bit foolish imho, revenge thing can still be understood to an extent, duel thing is hilarious.
Especially this part:-

In the event that the condemned is able to achieve a Kaeri-Uchi, the vengeance execution will be terminated. As the victor of the duel, they will earn the right to a pardon for three years of amnesty after which they will be euthanized and receive a peaceful painless death.
