Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai, absolutely stunned. The long list of handseals and the sheer power of this jutsu baffles me. I know that I have to put a lot of effot into this technique. I gather my chakra, and I channel it to every inch of my body. I start molding it into suiton chakra, and I picture a huge torrent of water appearing from the river nearby. I then imagine it taking the shape of a dragon and devouring the dummy set quite a distance away from me. I’ve summoned so much chakra that my limbs start to ache. I weave the long list of handseals, all the while preparing myself for how much chakra I’m about to expel. Finally, I finish.
“Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu!!”
The water practically explodes forth from the river’s surface, and I maintain focus on it as hard as I can. I concentrate on forming the water into a large, fearsome dragon. It becomes the dragon I saw in my head, down to its scales. I turn my body toward the dummy and aim my arms at it. I thrust my hands out, sending the dragon on its way. The dragon travels at such an incredible speed that it only takes a few seconds for it to reach the dummy and drench it with water. The dummy is blown away, and the terrain around it is covered in water. I find myself panting after performing this jutsu.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu can be very powerful considering the skill of the user and the rank at which this jutsu can be used. Depending on these things, a huge amount of water can be summoned, and this technique can be devastating.
- This jutsu can be used for close or long-ranged combat because of its short to long-ranged potential, so an opponent at any distance from the user would have a hard time avoiding this jutsu.
- This justu can cause even more damage if used in conjunction with a lightning or wind technique because both of those elements can greatly increase the strength of water.

Drawbacks/counters:- There are so many handseals that an opponent can quickly attack with another jutsu, taijutsu or anything before the user has even completed the handseals.
- Depending on the skill of the user compared to an opponent (i.e. if the opponent is higher ranked), the opponent could use a very powerful fire technique to stop the water because fire evaporates water. The opponent can counter with this fire technique.
- Also depending on the skill of the user compared to an opponent, the opponent could use a very powerful earth technique to stop the water because earth can block water.

________________________________________

Perform the technique: I recover from the last jutsu by taking a moment to regain my composure. Then, I move on to the next jutsu Noni-senpai has for me. I start to gather my chakra again, this time directing it specifically to my hands. I mold my chakra into suiton chakra, returning to the image of a whip I had before. Except this time, I picture multiple whips at my disposal. I take a deep breath and weave the Tiger handseal.
“Suiton: Suiryuben!”
Sure enough, I’ve conjured an orb of water before me, and I focus on dividing it up into several, thin and sharp whips. With the swing of my hand, the whips separate, and each one heads toward a dummy that’s been set up. Every single whip makes contact with a dummy and impales them.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is short to long-ranged, making it very useful at any distance during battle.
- This jutsu only has one handseal, making it very fast and easy to perform against an opponent or multiple opponents.
- A lightning or wind technique would be a good combination to make with this jutsu because each of those elements could add speed and sharpness to this jutsu.

Drawbacks/counters:- A fire technique could disperse the whips of water easily because fire overpowers water. An opponent could counter this jutsu by using said fire technique to evaporate the water.
- An earth technique could deflect the whips of water easily because earth can block water.
- Depending on the strength and durability, any armor or shield an opponent has on them or uses could deflect the whips of water because water has a hard time going through metal.

_______________________________________________

Perform the technique: I collect my chakra for the final time of this set, allowing the chakra to fill my mouth. I also reserve some chakra for my hands. Then, I begin to mold my chakra into suiton chakra. I revisit the spitting I had to do for various other techniques Noni-senpai has taught me. This time, though, I picture a large sphere of water and imagine the rotating motion it will be making. I inhale and exhale before weaving the Tiger handseal.
“Suiton: Teppoudama!”
Water instantly starts to flood in my mouth, and I prepare to aim for a dummy not to far away from me. I can feel the water swirling in my mouth before I spit it out, and the sphere comes out at a very fast speed. It spirals toward the dummy and makes a pretty big impact on it and the terrain around it. Small puddles surround the dummy as it lies in pieces.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is short to long-ranged, so it would be very useful to use at any distance during a fight.
- There’s only one handseal, and the smaller bullets a user can make will allow this jutsu to be performed even faster.
- Sending one bullet can penetrate even the strongest defenses due to its size and destructive power, and if strong enough, this larger bullet can be the finishing move.

Drawbacks/counters:- While creating one bullet will give this jutsu a bigger impact, it’s also slower to conjure, and an opponent could counter by attacking before the user is even done making the bullet.
- While creating a few, smaller bullets will give this jutsu more speed, they would also not be as powerful, so an opponent who uses a fire or earth technique could stop the bullets.
- Certain evasion tactics, such as substitutions, transportation or intangibility, can render this jutsu useless because the user won’t actually hit an opponent.

(Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri) - Water Release: Rising Water Slicer
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a fast jet of water running through the ground that is powerful enough to slice through solid rock.

One of the very simple techniques. The user after doing one quick hand seal will rise a large amount of water from the ground. The water is manipulated to form into a jet slice of water. The user can send it towards the opponent as a projectile. While it is moving it literally rips through ground towards the opponent. This can even effect the terrain to a extent by preventing the opponent from using the ground as freely as they want as well as since its cracked up even afterward it will remain so. I like to send lightning towards it to even crack around the ground and have a better attack potency. It can block through attacks while moving.

( Suiton: Suishinshu ) - Water Release: Water Quaking Pillar
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user jumps into the air and then stabs his sword into the ground, where he causes water to burst up around him and creating a pillar of water to rise up in the air repelling the enemy.

Okay the user will send suiton chakra into their sword and jump into the air and when reaching the ground stab it in the ground causing a water pillar to rise up right under the opponent, this will send the opponent high into the air while pushing them back. Now Its a tough tech to decide to use, you will have to jump into the air first leaving you vulnerable to attacks, I recommend that to use this technique if you were on top of a summon and jump down a large summon and then use the technique. This way your less vulnerable and less prone to attack. Now when the pillars sets a gush of water will appear first then launch the opponent. Now when they are in the air you are left to continue quickly to another attack giving you full freedom. You will have to stab the sword though short range of the opponent in the ground so he/she will most likely have visual contact on you. This can have them anticipate your move, be weary.

Perform the technique: After listening to Noni-senpai, I nod and begin to gather my chakra. I channel it to my feet and into the ground beneath me as I mold it into suiton chakra. I imagine water rushing so fast that it rips through the ground and leaves the terrain different than it was before. Water has the power to change my surroundings, I think. I weave the Tiger handseal.
“Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri!”
A few feet in front of me, I bring water together just above the surface of the ground. I propel it forward with my chakra, and it becomes and gushing jet of water. The ground around it breaks and rips apart. I sent it toward a dummy that’s been set up at a distance from me. Once the water reaches it, the dummy is torn to pieces.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu would be even more effective with a lightning or wind technique because either element could increase the potency of the attack.
- Because this jutsu alters the terrain around it to such an extent, an opponent would be hard-pressed in using earth techniques or any technique involving the ground.
- This jutsu only has one handseal, and that only increases the already great speed this jutsu has. This jutsu would be very quick and easy to perform.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range would avoid this jutsu. If the opponent was in range, they could easily counter by going out of range and attacking with a long-ranged technique.
- A substantial fire attack could stop this jutsu because fire overpowers water, but it would have to be a very powerful and fast fire technique.
- If the opponent used a substitution jutsu or clone of any kind, the user would believe that the opponent was wounded, and the opponent could use a surprise attack.

________________________________________

Perform the technique: I use a simple katana that Noni-senpai has lent to me during this training, and I hold the handle tightly in my hands. I gather my chakra and focus on sending it through the sword, all the way to the tip. I then mold my chakra into suiton chakra, picturing water coming up around me and forming a pillar to lift an enemy away. I take a deep breath, in and out, and jump into the air. I flip the katana over in my hands to where the tip is aimed toward the ground. I land, hearing the sound of the katana slice into the earth. Then, I exude my chakra.
“Suiton: Suishinshu!”
Water bursts up and around me, and it forms underneath a dummy. The water forces its way up, creating the pillar and blasting the dummy away. I stand up, removing the sword from the ground as the dummy lands quite a ways away.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu would be good to use in combination with another technique because while an opponent is in the air, the user can attack while the opponent is off-guard.
- The sword is useful with this jutsu because if the user is facing multiple opponents, and one is or a few are blown away by the pillar, the user can fight off the other opponents using kenjutsu.
- If the user uses this jutsu after jumping down from a summon, the user greatly cuts their chance of being attacked while in mid-air.

Drawbacks/counters:- If the user just jumps up to perform this technique, they make themselves vunerable to attack. An opponent could easily counter with an attack before the user has even used this jutsu.
- While the user is in mid-air, an opponent could anticipate and avoid this jutsu because the opponent could suspect that the user will use the jutsu upon landing.
- This jutsu is only short-ranged, giving any opponents out of range a chance to evade this jutsu.

( Suiton: Seiryusho ) - Water Release: Azure Dragon Palm
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a spiralling torrent of water from his hands.

Very simple the user will send a torrent of water from their hands towards the opponent short range from them. Now this is a great close combat attack I recommend it highly when you get in a position to a taijutsu fighter who is giving you a hard time. Its very fast to create no hand seals whatsoever, its simple as you can tell from the description. Nothing much more to add on here.

( Suiton: Shizuka Yari ) - Water Release: Droplet Spear
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: Using their skills with water release, the user creates an orb of water in their hand which they can then release in the form of multiple spearing streams, that they can use to attack their enemy from multiple directions or in spirals.

The user will create a orb of water acting as a miniature water source, because when the orb is created the user will manipulate it once again to form multiple spears of streaming water (4-6 seen in the game) which are used to attack the opponent with a barrage of this spears to impale the opponent. This is actually a fast moving technique and fast to perform, I recommend using it when you get close range of the opponent. The speed of them spears would be to fast for the opponent to react to them all at once. You must keep concentration though to send the streams, so if you want to send another jutsu you must release this one. Its not a projectile based technique. Its flexible nature allows the streams to be sent at any direction or area of the body, making it hard on the opponent.

Perform the technique: After Noni-senpai’s short description, I get to work on gathering my chakra. I focus the chakra into my hands while molding the chakra into suiton chakra. I imagine a great stream of water coming out of my hands and blasting an enemy away. Then, I move close to a dummy that’s been set up for me, as though we were in close combat.
“Suiton: Seiryusho!”
I begin to form a ball of water in between my palms, and it starts to swirl. Then, with my wrists pressed together, I thrust my hands out, sending a spiraling torrent of water right into the dummy’s gut. The dummy gets sent flying away several feet and falls to the ground.

Creative uses/strengths:- Since this jutsu has no handseals, this jutsu can be performed quickly and easily, giving the user an advantage in battle.
- This jutsu is short-ranged, meaning that it would be useful for close combat because the user can use it to get a very tough taijutsu opponent off of their back.
- This jutsu could be used in combination with another technique because once the user has used this jutsu to put some space between themselves and an opponent, the user can follow up with another attack.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is short-ranged, meaning that an opponent out of range could easily avoid this technique. Or an opponent within range can counter by moving out of range and evading this jutsu.
- A fire or earth technique could stop this jutsu if an opponent had a chance to use one before the user performed this jutsu because fire and earth can both stop water.
- An opponent wearing armor or using a shield could block this jutsu because it doesn’t seem like this technique has much cutting ability, unless the user added a lightning or wind technique to this jutsu.

_____________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai and, once he’s done describing the next jutsu, I gather my chakra. I channel it into my hands once again, and I imagine 6 spears as I mold the chakra into suiton chakra. I picture their size and sharpness. I remember how much I have to focus on them while I’m sending them toward my enemy. Once more, I get close to a dummy, about a few feet away from it.
“Suiton: Shizuka Yari!”
I create a ball of water in my right hand and let it grow to where it fills both of my hands. I thrust my hands forward, and the ball shoots out. It quickly forms into the spears I pictured, and I concentrate very hard on maintaining their shape. I create 6 spears, and they all fly forward in streams and impale the dummy in different sections of its body.

Creative uses/strengths:- Because of the speed and flexibility of this jutsu, it would be very hard for an opponent to evade the spears, especially at short range.
- This jutsu has no handseals, making it very quick and easy for the user to perform.
- Depending on how many spears the user creates and how many opponents the user is facing, this jutsu would be useful for up to 6 opponents because each spear can impale one opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range can easily avoid this jutsu. The opponent can then counter with a long-ranged attack as the user is focused on using this jutsu.
- If an opponent is mid-ranged, they might have the opportunity to use a fire technique to stop the streams because fire evaporates water.
- If an opponent is mid-ranged, they might have a chance to use an earth technique to stop the streams because earth blocks water.

( Suiton: Nagareru no Yari ) - Water Release: Flowing Spear
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user creates crescent shaped blades of water, which follow the arcs of their hand movements attacking opponents infront of them or they can twirl around while generating the crescent blades to attack all around them.

This is similar another great short range technique, which can still be used from mid. Now with simple hand movements the user will create water shaped crescents in a very fast motion. Another technique where you can attack any area you want by a simple hand wave, it acts to impale the opponent and the water crescents move fast. Must keep concentration for them though. A great add in is you can move around and twirl while still generating the crescents, so you can in short evade or block while still sending the multiple crescents hitting the opponent.

(Suiton: Ja No Kuchi) - Water Release: Water Snakes Mouth
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey → Rat → Tiger → Dragon → Horse → Dragon it then allows the user to generate a spinning column of water which will take the form of a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.

A handy jutsu for some scenarios. Now after performing the required hand seals the user will summon a pillar of water out the ground and form it into a snake which they send towards the enemy as a projectile based attack. Now their are some small perks with this jutsu. One being it can follow the opponent but for this feature you must stay concentrated on it. So if you send it as a projectile its straightforward but if you control it, it becomes impossible to go onto the next tech. Makes having a clone nice. Also when it engulfs the opponent, it turns into a river of water which carries him away. I would send a lightning current when it becomes a river. Its best used in caves, then in open space fields.

Perform the technique: I nod and proceed to gathering my chakra. I focus it into my hands once more as I mold it into suiton chakra. Crescents, crescents… I then picture a scythe and concentrate on its curved shape. I imagine making this shape with the water in my hands, either to cut an enemy right in front of me or spin around to attack multiple enemies. I put my hands out, palms facing away from me.
“Suiton: Nagareru no Yari!”
The water begins as a pinpoint in the middle of my palms, and they grow quickly as I begin to move my arms in arc-like motions. The water expands as my hands move, and they become crescents. I move my arms faster and faster, staying focused on the crescents. When I stop, I examine the dummy in front of me. Suddenly, cuts appear along different sections of its body, and the dummy falls apart.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is useful for short or mid-ranged combat because the user can either attack an opponent directly before them or multiple opponents encircled around them.
- This jutsu has no handseals, and the water crescents are very fast, making this jutsu very quick and easy to perform.
- This jutsu could be used in combination with a lightning or wind technique, especially at mid range, because the lightning and wind could increase the cutting ability of this jutsu, so opponents are more likely to be incapacitated.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, meaning that an opponent at long range won’t be affected by this jutsu. Or an opponent in range could easily counter by moving out of range and attacking the user with a long-ranged attack.
- A fire technique at mid range could stop this jutsu because fire can evaporate water.
- An earth technique at mid range could stop this jutsu because earth can block water.

________________________________________

Perform the technique: I compose myself after performing the last jutsu, and I start to gather chakra. I mold it into suiton chakra, returning to the image of a water spout. It most closely resembles the spinning colum of water Noni-senpai spoke of. I picture the spout becoming a snake and the snake traveling along the ground as a real snake would. I then imagine the snake forming a river like the one flowing beside me. I weave the handseals Monkey -> Rat -> Tiger -> Dragon -> Horse -> Dragon.
“Suiton: Ja No Kuchi!”
A few feet in front of me, I summon water from the ground and the more I summon, the more the water starts to spin. It goes higher and higher until I create the shape of a snake. I then bring the snake down onto the dummy set up several feet away. The snake sweeps very fast toward the dummy until it swallows it, and the snake turns into a river. The river washes the dummy away.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, making it very useful at any distance during battle.
- This jutsu allows the snake that’s created to turn into a river, carrying an opponent away and leaving them unable to defend themselves from a following attack.
- This jutsu would be good in combination with a lightning technique because, if the user used such a technique while an opponent is getting carried off by the river, the lightning will further incapacitate the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu has a list of handseals and, even though it’s not very long, a user who performs the list too slowly will be attacked by an opponent before they can use this jutsu.
- This jutsu could be stopped when it’s still a column of water by a substantial fire technique because fire evaporates water. An opponent could counter by stopping the jutsu when the user hasn’t even finished it yet.
- This justu could be stopped when it becomes the snake by a substantial earth technique because earth blocks water. So, an opponent could counter by raising themselves up onto a colum of earth to avoid the snake.

(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.
Note: Technique creates its own water source

Very similar to the weaker version, its concept is basically the same to trap the opponent in a circle of water. Now it can create its own water source so this can be created in any terrain but a problem is it takes a while for it to fully form so a opponent can use the split second to counter it. Shooting mud at the core can easily stop the water from fully forming. When the opponent is caught the user can't use any technique since they must be focused on the water. Its meant to suffocate the opponent to death. Having a ally, summon, or clone can help finish the opponent off when trapped. If you are ever caught in this sphere there is not much you can really do, so be cautious. Setting this up with combos is great as a finisher so its combo friendly.

(Suiton: Mizurappa) - Water Release: Water Horn
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After waving the Dragon → Tiger → Rabbit hand seals, the user creates a big jet of water that is launched from their mouth. This technique works exceptionally well with Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique to help it become like cement.

Another very basic technique. After doing 3 hand seals the user will send a jet of water towards their mouth which moves at intense speed making it hard for evasion, its also quite combo friendly as a finisher and requires no water source. It is a streaming type technique meaning you must keep streaming it towards the opponent, and it acts to push the opponent pack with power. It is straightforward but can be handy for use.

Perform the technique: I take a deep breath in and release it again, pressing my hands together. I collect my chakra, once more channeling it into my hands. As I mold it into suiton chakra, I’m reminded of the Water Prison Technique and the effort it took to maintain the prison. The same effort would have to be used here. I imagine the water rising under my enemy and encircling them.
“Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko!”
I thrust my hands out, creating a flow of water underneath a nearby dummy. The water gushes under it and rises up to trap it in a sphere of water. I keep my focus on the technique for a short time until I feel that it’s time to release it. The water crashes to the ground, and the dummy falls as well.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu creates its own water source, meaning that for techniques following this jutsu, a water source won’t be required.
- Unlike the weaker version, this jutsu doesn’t require the user to keep their arm in the sphere of water, meaning that the user is free to follow this justu with another technique.
- This jutsu is a great finisher because if the user attacks an opponent and then traps them in the water, the opponent will be weakened and has less of a chance of breaking free.

Drawbacks/counters:- If the user themselves is trapped within this jutsu, there’s not much they can do to escape it because, like the weaker version, this jutsu is meant to suffocate and drown.
- This jutsu takes a while to fully form, so an opponent could evade this jutsu before they are trapped in it. The opponent could then counter with an attack while the user is preoccupied.
- This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range or an opponent who could easily move out of range wouldn’t be affected by this jutsu.

_________________________________

Perform the technique: Again, I inhale and exhale as I gather my chakra and focus it into my hands. I also reserve some chakra for my mouth. I make it into suiton chakra, and I picture the geyser that I’ve envisioned for previous techniques. I concentrate on the sudden jet it creates and the force it exudes. I imagine that jet coming from my mouth with enough power to push my enemy away. I weave the handseals Dragon -> Tiger -> Rabbit.
“Suiton: Mizurappa!”
I can feel the water gushing into my mouth, and I focus my chakra there to increase its force. I then launch it out, and it rushes forward with great speed toward a dummy. I continue to concentrate on the stream until it knocks the dummy clear over and sends it flying back several feet. The jet then decreases in power until it disappears, and I wipe my mouth with my arm.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutus is very quick and easy to use because it only has three handseals, and the jet it creates moves at a very fast speed, making it hard for an opponent to evade.
- This jutsu requires no water source, making it even faster to perform for the user.
- This jutsu would be great in combination with other techniques because this jutsu can either be combined with another technique or it can be used as the finisher against an opponent.

Drawbacks/counters- Although this jutsu is so quick to perform, an opponent who uses a jutsu requiring no handseals could still avoid this jutsu. The opponent could then counter with an attack while the user is busy with this jutsu.
- This jutsu is only mid-ranged, so it wouldn’t be useful in short-ranged combat, and an opponent at long range could avoid this jutsu.
- Since this jutsu is a streaming technique, the user must remain focused on it, and if they don’t, an opponent could find an opening to attack after this jutsu had failed.

(Suiton: Haran Banshō) - Water Release: Stormy Blockade
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will slam their hands against then ground allowing him/her to summon a massive amount of water from the sky, crushing it into the opponent. If needed, the user can cancel the technique in an instant.
Note: The water needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent to have any real effect.

Okay now the opponent will slam their hands on the ground which will summon a large amount of water right above the opponent. Now the water does not have much of a attack potency. Its main components include distractions and combos. Now when the water crash onto the opponent it crushes them and pushes down on them, restricting movement of the opponent. Its a great combo to use to try and attack the opponent from all areas. Now their are two main ways to combo this, one being it creates a shadow over the opponent, and it will drip water down depending on where and how high the opponent places the water, usually 10 meters is best to place it. I use it to attack from above and then attack from below using some spikes. Its a basic combo but effective.

(Suiton: Mizugakure no jutsu) - Water Release Hidden Amongst Water Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then blend in with a water source to be undetected by the enemy for a short period of time. However Sensory Ninja and Doujutsu users can find the enemy easily within the water source.

Okay now this is a nice jutsu to use if used correctly. Now you must be close range of the water, by releasing your water chakra through the water you can sink into the water and pretty much blend and be one with the water. This is a great jutsu to use for snick attacks as well as giving yourself time to map out a certain plan. Its nice for infiltration as well. Now you can only stay in the water for a short period of time; you can't live in their if you know what I mean. Also its a useless jutsu if used against a sensory as well as dojutsu user they will easily detect you. You can blend into any natural water source so small you can blend into pounds of water.

Perform the technique: I listen with peaked interest as Noni-senpai moves on to the next technique. I’m excited to perform this one. I press my palms together, gathering my chakra. I mold it into suiton chakra, thinking of a waterfall. I imagine myself conjuring one out of thin air and then bringing it down onto my enemy. I hope the jutsu works out as well as it does in my head.
“Suiton: Haran Banshō!”
I drop to the ground with great speed and slam my hands down. There’s a dummy set up several feet away from me and, suddenly, water cascades from the sky above it. I concentrate and focus my chakra to make the water very strong. The water falls very fast with a lot of power and flattens the dummy onto the ground. I let the water run its course until no more of it comes down.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu has no handseals, and the water travels very fast, making this technique very easy and quick to perform for the user.
- This jutsu can be anywhere from short to long ranged, so it can be used in almost any type of battle.
- This jutsu would be great in combination with other techniques because while the water is falling from above an opponent to distract them, the user can follow up by attacking them from the sides, underneath or behind.

Drawbacks/counters:- The water needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent to have much of an effect because if the water is only summoned at a short height, it won’t have much momentum behind it and really damage an opponent.
- This jutsu could be evaded by an opponent using great speed because the opponent could move out of the way before the water has even been summoned. The opponent could counter by attacking while the user is preoccupied.
- This jutsu could be stopped by either a powerful fire or earth technique because fire evaporates water, and earth blocks water.

__________________________________________

Perform the technique: With my jacket still being off from the last time I went into the river, I jump back in, submerging myself and then coming back to the surface for air. I start gathering my chakra, spreading it to every inch of my body. I create suiton chakra out of it, reminding myself of the feeling of being completely surrounded by water. I take a deep breath and go underneath the water.
Suiton: Mizugakure no Jutsu!
I can’t exactly tell if it’s worked or not, but I remain completely still, letting the water soak into my clothes and my hair. I remain that way until my lungs ache for air, and I swim up until I break the surface of the water. I take a gulp of air and swim in place for a few seconds before I climb out of the river.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is great for sneak attacks because the user can camouflage themselves in the water and have their presence unknown to an opponent.
- This jutsu requires no handseals, so it’s very quick and easy to perform.
- This jutsu is good for infiltration tactics, as well as concealing yourself from an enemy until they aren’t tracking you anymore because you can disguise yourself in the water.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is useless without a water source because the technique requires the user to hide in a source of water.
- A sensory or dojutsu opponent can easily sense the user in the water because the user isn’t completely masked by the water. The opponent could then counter by finding you quickly and attacking.
- This jutsu is only short ranged, so the user could only probably use the technique on themselves and not on allies who are with them.

(Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user performs the snake hand seal and creates a large volume of water from their mouth spilling it toward the ground and lifting them up into the air. The user can also ride the wave, allowing him to travel at high speeds and attacking the enemy. The user can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions and can use the water for additional techniques.

Okay after one hand seal without the need of any water source the opponent will spew a high volume of water out their mouth towards the ground, the process while spewing the water is the water will travel very fast through the ground covering the terrain as well as lift the opponent upward due to the pressure the water gives off, that can allow certain air evasions upward. Now the water can easily transform a barren wasteland to a ocean. Its great to put out fire or use the terrain to your advantage. The water can be used to ride at high speed for close range battle. This jutsu can also create its own water source for the user. Overall a handy jutsu.

(Suiton: Uramiame no Jutsu) - Water Release: Grudge Rain Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20 (-50 per turn while trapped in the vortex of waves)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will first perform the Dog hand seal and release his chakra into the atmosphere which will then create an accumulation of large storm clouds in the sky, which in turn produces rain. The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

A pretty straightforward technique. The user will do one hand seal release their chakra in the sky creating clouds which begin to rain at a tremendous rate. The rain shoots down which can create waves of water that can act to wash away the enemy when the water reaches its peaking point. Note it does take some time before it releases that much water, so be sure to keep the opponent distracted. Now the water can easily restrict the opponents movement and sap the opponents chakra away. This will weaken them further. Note you must keep your hand seal or remain concentrated to the rain fall. You can keep it going for two turns. I recommend getting a clone or ally to do the hand seal and you can send attacks while the opponent is restricted. The rain can even be used as your own water source.

Perform the technique: I find myself shaking a little as Noni-senpai describes this next jutsu, and whether it’s more out of excitement or nervousness, I can’t be sure. But, after he’s finished, I get into the zone and start gathering chakra. I press my palms together, molding the chakra into suiton chakra and closing my eyes. I picture the great ocean wave I did earlier, focusing on its sheer power. Then, I imagine the geyser I also did earlier and combine the two. A great ocean wave coming from my mouth and shooting me up. I weave the Snake handseal.
“Suiton: Bakusui Shōha!”
I can feel my mouth fill up instantly with water, and I channel my chakra there to take control of it. I open my eyes and aim the stream of water toward the ground at my feet. The water gushes out and begins to lift me up. I continue concentrating my chakra, going higher and higher into the air until I’m out of water. It disappears, and I land on the ground, sighing in relief.

Creative uses/strengths:- The jutsu only has one hand seal, and the water exits the users mouth at a high speed, so this jutsu is very quick and easy to perform.
- This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, so the user has an advantage at any distance during combat.
- This jutsu has many uses in battle because of its flexibility. It can be used to evade techniques, to travel quickly toward an opponent, to create a water source, etc.

Drawbacks/counters:- Since this jutsu makes a water source that could extremely alter the terrain, an opponent could have just as much of an advantage as the user. The opponent could counter with water techniques that require a water source when there previously was none.
- With the jutsu depositing so much water across the terrain, including under the user, an opponent could attack with a lightning technique, which could prove harmful to the user.
- This jutsu seems pretty straightforward, and therefore readable, so an opponent could counter by using an earth technique to raise themselves out of harm’s way, just as this jutsu does for the user.

_______________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I begin gathering chakra again by pressing my hands together and closing my eyes. I create suiton chakra, imagining a bunch of rain clouds as I did with previous techniques. Except this time, they must deposit enough water to knock an enemy over and trap them. I keep Noni-senpai’s advice in mind, preparing to keep the handseal up during the jutsu and concentrate. I weave the Dog handseal and open my eyes.
“Suiton: Uramiame no Jutsu!”
High above my head, dark clouds begin to form in the sky. I focus on releasing more and more chakra, making them bigger and bigger. Finally, the clouds let the rain fall, and it begins to downpour. I keep my chakra centered and focused, concentrating on forming a wave of water. It materializes before me and rushes toward a nearby dummy. The dummy is swept up and under the water, and I focus on binding the dummy in the water. I keep this up for a minute or two before releasing the jutsu, letting the soaked dummy fall to the ground. I’m soaked as well from the rain.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, and it covers a great area, so an enemy or multiple enemies would have a hard time avoiding this jutsu.
- This jutsu can create a water source because of the amount of rain falling from the clouds, and the user can use this water source to their advantage.
- This jutsu would be good in combination with other techniques, especially as a finisher, because the jutsu binds an opponent in the water, weakening their chakra and eventually drowning them.

Drawbacks/counters:- The water does take time to be released as rain from the clouds, meaning an opponent has the opportunity to attack and can counter while the user is preoccupied.
- The user must keep the handseal or remain concentrated on the rainfall, giving an opponent the chance to attack while the user is preoccupied.
- The water source this jutsu creates could also be used by an opponent, giving them as much of an advantage as the user.

Very good

(Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu) - Water Style: Giant Water Vortex Technique
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird, extends water over a large scale, surges and rises up to several dozen meters high. Then it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra.
Note: Technique Requires a water source.

Another very long hand seal set jutsu which is probably the biggest downside but it is a great jutsu I recommend it. After performing the hand seals the user will manipulate water in the nearest water source to rise and then release it towards the opponent as a powerful wave of water. The sheer power can push an opponent back serious meters as well as catch him in the water, since it moves so fast the opponent will barely be able to move let alone use a jutsu while being washed away. It can cause terrain change which basically can destroy trees with ease and flood the whole area with water, this can harm fire users as well as destroy areas of mountains and damp the ground. It is a devastating streaming technique that can be used as a finisher. Covers a very wide and long range as well.

(Suiton: Senkogenma Kujo) – Water Release: Flash Grinding Destruction
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage point: 60
Description: As his opponent is standing on a source of water, the user will create. four sharks of water. Those sharks will rush at their target, come out and knock the opponent high into the air. breaking several of his bones in the process. Then, as his enemy is in a very vulnerable position, the user can freely attack with swords or other ninja techniques.
Note: Requires a water source.

Okay your opponent will have to be on the water source. The user will summon 4 sharks of normal size which race towards the opponent, note you must keep concentrated towards the sharks during their attack. Then they will all try to clash with the opponent aiming to send him high into the air. After that, the sharks are released and you can begin to the next jutsu which can be anything. The opponent will be in the air with several broken bones so a simple finisher is what I recommend, the sharks are able to follow the opponent up to short range as long as the user keeps concentration towards them.

Thanks a lot, senpai! ^^

Perform the technique: Inwardly, I’m very excited for this next jutsu, but outwardly, I remain cool and collected. I listen to Noni-senpai carefully, especially about this jutsu requiring a fair amount of chakra. I take my time, more so than with any other jutsu so far, and I gather my chakra. I focus on the river next to me as I mold it into suiton chakra. I revisit the image of a great ocean wave crashing against the shore. I weave the list of handseals: Tiger -> Ox -> Monkey -> Rabbit -> Ram -> Boar -> Ox -> Horse -> Monkey -> Tiger -> Dog -> Tiger -> Snake -> Tiger -> Ox -> Monkey -> Rabbit -> Bird.
“Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu!!”
It takes a few moments, but soon enough, I summon a large amount of water from the river nearby. I concentrate and bring the water high into the air, accumulating even more water as I do so. I keep my chakra flowing and under control as I release more and more. Finally, the water spills down and roars toward the ground in a great waterfall. It then crashes to the ground and continues forward like a powerful wave. It’s not powerful enough to take down any trees, but the dummy that’s been set up before me is swept away, and the terrain is definitely altered. I kneel down, taking a moment to rest.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu can be used anywhere from short to long-ranged, making it very useful at any distance during battle.
- This jutsu is devastating in its destruction of the terrain around the user, and it can create its own water source due to the huge amount of water.
- This jutsu can either be used as a way to push an opponent back and give some distance between the user and the opponent, or to sweep the opponent away, thus giving them no time to attack.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu has a long list of handseals, meaning that for certain users, it may take a while to perform. An opponent could counter by attacking the user with a jutsu requiring no handseals before the user is even done with the list of handseals.
- This jutsu requires a water source, so it would be useless to use in an dry, arid area with no water source.
- Depending on the speed of an opponent, they could evade the jutsu as the water is being raised up from a water source because the opponent could see a potential attack incoming and avoid it.

_____________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I recover from the last technique, stand up and walk over to a dummy. I pick it up and channel chakra to the stand that keeps it up. I then place the dummy on the surface of the river and back away. I press my hands together and begin gathering chakra. As I mold it into suiton chakra, I picture a group of sharks converging on their prey. They’re fast and strong, just as this jutsu must be in order for my enemy to be knocked into the air. I feel the chakra almost leaking from my pores before I perform the jutsu.
“Suiton: Senkogenma Kujo!”
Four sharks break from the surface of the water and knock the dummy higher and higher into the air. I stay focused on my chakra as it powers the sharks. Once the dummy is high enough, the sharks disappear, and the dummy begins to fall. Just to follow this jutsu up with something, I take my sword in my hands, jump up with great speed and impale the dummy. Both the dummy and I land on the ground, my sword still deep within its material.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu has no handseals, and the sharks approach an opponent very quickly, so this jutsu is very fast and easy to perform.
- This jutsu would be great in combination with other techniques because this jutsu knocks an opponent into the air, giving them no time to evade a follow up technique.
- This jutsu causes an opponent to have several broken bones, giving the user an advantage in battle because the opponent is already injured.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short-ranged, meaning that an opponent out of range could easily avoid this jutsu. Or the opponent could counter by moving out of range and attacking the user with a mid or long-ranged technique.
- This jutsu requires a water source, and also for an opponent to be on the water source, so this jutsu would be useless in an area with no water source.
- The user must stay focused on the sharks as they attack an opponent, so this could give the opponent an opportunity to attack the user while they are preoccupied.

(Suiton: Suijinheki) - Water Style: Water Encampment Wall
Rank: A
Type: Defence/Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. The user will use the following hand seals to activate the technique Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

A great defensive jutsu. The user after doing the long but required hand seals they will spew out a large amount and form it around themselves in a circle and acts as a barrier. This jutsu is very efficient defense being A-Rank in power it can easily be able to intercept many attacks. It has no openings neither making it quite solid for your benefit. Now a great advantage is though its a dense water wall their field of vision is still in tact and basically can still see through the water and notice everything going on. It takes away the disadvantage many defensive walls have. Also this water cna be manipulated as well to make attacks with it. So you can both defend and attack by manipulating it as your own water source.

(Suiton: Kōka Suijin) - Water Release: Hard Whirlpool Water Blade
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user makes the water under the enemy explode, launching them into the air. Then the user jumps above the enemy and creates a large whirlpool around his arm, striking the enemy with it and creating a large water explosion.
Note: Water source required.

A multiple performance jutsu. The user will create a water pool under the opponent and launch them in the air, at the same time they are launched the user will also jump and appear from behind generating a large amount of water around his arm and strike the opponent. Causing a very large explosion of water. Evasion is tough mid-air as well as it is very deadly for a jutsu. The opponent will have several broken bones and surviving this jutsu would be tough. Now this is a combo in itself but being able to distract the opponent before hand is best. Also if you are ever launched in the air, it will not cause harm, the damage comes from the punch. Best thing to do while mid-air is create a armor, or try to blow away.

Perform the technique: I pay attention to Noni-senpai until he finishes his description of the next jutsu. Then, I proceed to gathering my chakra and molding it into suiton chakra. I channel the chakra into my hands for forming the handseals and into my mouth for blowing water out of. I imagine the water pouring out of my mouth and forming a complete circle around me. I weave the handseals Tiger -> Snake -> Rate -> Snake -> Tiger.
“Suiton: Suijinheki!”
Water blasts from my mouth at a very high speed and encircles me completely, moving around my feet. I focus on running even more of my chakra through the water and at a faster rate. The water then rushes up and creates a 360-degree wall of water around me, one that’s about double my height. The wall continues to hold until I feel that I’ve performed the jutsu appropriately. I release my chakra, and the water falls to the ground, splashing all around me.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu can either be created from the user’s own water source or it can be created from an already existing water source in the environment around them.
- This jutsu is good in combination with other techniques because the user can use this jutsu to defend themselves and follow up quickly with an attack.
- This jutsu has no openings, and the user maintains their field of vision through the water wall, so this jutsu has a greater advantage than many other defensive walls have.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short-ranged, so the user may only be able to defend themselves with it, and not other comrades.
- This jutsu has a list of handseals and, while it’s not very long, an opponent could attack the user while they are performing the handseals. The opponent could counter by attacking the user while they are off-guard.
- If an opponent uses a clone, and the user uses this jutsu to defend against said clone, the opponent could come up from behind the user. Once the water wall is released, the opponent could ambush the user from behind.

_______________________________________

Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai, pretty intrigued with the jutsu he explains now. Once he’s done, I walk over to a dummy and pick it up. I channel chakra into its stand and leave it on the surface of the river flowing nearby. With the dummy in place over a water source, I concentrate on gathering my chakra and creating suiton chakra. I imagine the geyser of water that I have a few times before as it shoots my enemy into the air. I then picture water swirling around my arm and the sensation that comes with it.
“Suiton: Kōka Suijin!”
The water underneath the dummy writhes and suddenly shoots the dummy into the air with great force. I channel some chakra into my feet, giving me a good jump. I fly through the air toward the dummy, and I start to form the whirlpool around my arm. I focus on the amount of chakra I put into it and how fast I can channel the chakra. The whirlpool roars around my arm, and I wind my arm back. I strike the dummy, and the explosion is concussive. I’m soaked in water as I land on the ground, and the dummy lands on the ground as well, but in pieces. Wow… I think to myself.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu requires no handseals, and knocking an opponent into the air would happen very quickly, making this jutsu a very fast and easy one to perform.
- This jutsu is a multiple performance jutsu, so it’s a combination in itself, but it could still be combined with other techniques if an opponent still isn’t defeated.
- When this jutsu knocks an opponent into the air, the opponent won’t be able to evade very easily in mid-air, so this jutsu is good as a finisher.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short-ranged, so an opponent out of range could avoid this jutsu. Or the opponent could counter by moving out of range and attacking with a mid or long-ranged technique.
- This jutsu requires a water source, so in a place that’s dry and arid with no water source, this jutsu would be rendered useless.
- An opponent could have an opportunity to create an armor or use a wind technique to defend against this jutsu’s punch or blow the user away before they can punch the opponent.

Before we continue I got some quick question I want to ask you.

What is a streaming jutsu?
What is a projectile justsu?
What happens if your opponent spewed an A-Rank water to create a water source? Will you be able to manipulate it and if so how?
Lastly what would happen if an A-Rank water jutsu and a S-Rank fire jutsu clash with one another? In general what will appear when this two elements clash?

Sorry for the delay. Sure thing.

A streaming jutsu is a jutsu that sends a great amount of water toward an opponent at one time. The user must concentrate on the stream until it hits the opponent, and sometimes, even after.

A projectile jutsu is one that sends smaller amounts of water toward an opponent in a number of bullets, needles, etc. The user can usually shoot the projectiles and follow up quickly with another jutsu because they don't require much concentration.

I think you would be able to manipulate it because once the opponent has released their A-rank technique, the water source they've created is no longer controlled by their chakra. So the water they deposited is free to use for anyone. I'd manipulate it by flowing my own chakra into the water and taking control of it myself.

The fire jutsu would still slightly overpower the water jutsu because fire evaporates water, and the fire jutsu is S-rank compared to an A-rank water jutsu. Steam would appear when fire and water clash.

You did good up to this point.

I think you would be able to manipulate it because once the opponent has released their A-rank technique, the water source they've created is no longer controlled by their chakra. So the water they deposited is free to use for anyone. I'd manipulate it by flowing my own chakra into the water and taking control of it myself.
This is wrong, completely. If your opponent spews out A-rank water, it will contain residue of the opponents chakra in the water. So you would need to equal or overpower it, so the only way is using a A-Rank water jutsu or higher. Any lower and it won't work.

The fire jutsu would still slightly overpower the water jutsu because fire evaporates water, and the fire jutsu is S-rank compared to an A-rank water jutsu. Steam would appear when fire and water clash.
I liked how you thought about the steam. If an S-Rank water jutsu and S-Rank fire jutsu clash the water will overpower the fire, but what rank will it be after clashing?
