Perform the technique: I start with the Rain Tiger at Will Technique. This jutsu sounds very interesting, so I’m eager to perform it. However, I take my time like I’ve done with every other jutsu so far. I listen to Noni-senpai, and once he’s finished, I gather my chakra. I mold my chakra into suiton chakra, thinking of a storm beginning to form. I think of the downpour of rain that comes from it and the sensation I feel as the raindrops hit my skin. Before I know it, clouds form in the sky above me. I weave the handseals Bird -> Rat -> Ox -> Monkey -> Rat -> Snake.
“Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu!”
I can feel every drop of rain as it forms in the cloud over my head. I’ve infused my chakra into each drop, and they start to fall right after I’ve completed the handseals. As the rain falls upon me and Noni-senpai, I can sense Noni-senpai’s chakra. It’s a strange feeling to sense everything the rain comes into contact with.

Creative uses/strengths:- Even though there is a long list of handseals for this jutsu, it is still quick to use because the rain begins to fall seconds after you’ve weaved the handseals.
- The user can easily anticipate attacks with this jutsu because they can sense the opponent as well as an attack coming their way.
- The range of this jutsu permits the user to utilize it at any distance from the opponent because the jutsu is short to long-ranged.

Drawbacks/counters:- There is a long list of handseals, so the user might be at a disadvantage if they can’t perform the handseals quickly. An opponent could use a technique requiring no handseals and attack the user if they haven’t completed their handseals yet.
- While this jutsu can sense an opponent and an impending attack, it can’t sense the opponent molding their chakra, meaning that the user may not be prepared for an attack.
- Perhaps, if an opponent were attacking with clones, this jutsu would sense all of them at one time, making it difficult for the user to distinguish the opponent from their clones?
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I then prepare myself for the Water Prison technique. I gather my chakra and mold it into suiton chakra. I picture a sphere of water, dense and strong, as it encircles my opponent. I channel my chakra to my hands and perform the handseals Snake -> Ram -> Horse -> Hare -> Ram -> Horse -> Hare.
“Suiton: Suirou no Jutsu!”
I keep my hands in front of me, palms facing away from me. I focus on the river flowing next to me and summon some water from there. The water shapes into a large ball, and I keep my left hand inside of it and chakra flowing to keep it going. I can feel how dense and heavy the water inside is.

Creative uses/strengths:- A user can either expel their own water, use a water source, or use a water clone to perform this technique because any source of water will do to create the prison.
- A user can perform this jutsu on themselves to defend themselves from attacks because the prison is thick and dense with pressurized water, and an opponent would have a hard time piercing through.
- Once trapped inside, an opponent will be immobilized because the water within the prison is heavy with pressurized water.

Drawbacks/counters:- The user must keep one arm inside the prison at all times to keep the opponent inside because the prison constantly needs chakra to stay intact.
- This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, no matter from what source, so an arid area would be a hard place to perform this jutsu because of the dry climate.
- This justu is short-ranged, so an opponent at a mid or long-ranged distance can avoid this jutsu easily and counter with an attack.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I end with the Water Replacement technique. I already think that this will be an interesting jutsu because I’ll be turning myself into liquid. I take a deep breath and let it out. I gather my chakra and focus on sending it to every edge of my body. Then, I focus on molding it into suiton chakra. I imagine myself being submerged in a body of water and how it feels to be surrounding by nothing but water.
“Suiton: Mizu Kawarimi!”
I suddenly look down to find that my entire body has morphed into water. I look down at my hands, watching as my chakra moves around within the water. I can’t help but be struck with awe at how amazing it is to turn myself into water. But, by now, I’ve lost focus on my chakra, and I revert back to normal.

Creative uses/strengths:- With no handseals, this jutsu would be very quick to perform, giving the user a better chance of avoiding damage from an attack.
- This jutsu would be a good one to use for the user’s escape because the user wouldn’t be affected by any attacks, giving them an opportunity to run.
- This jutsu would be a great, deceptive technique because the opponent will think that their attack landed on the user, but the user will have turned themselves into water and come away unharmed. The user could then attack with the opponent is off-guard.

Drawbacks/counters:- The user can’t attack while using this jutsu because the user is now liquid, and they can only let an attack pass through them.
- This justu counts as a substitution, so the user can only use it once and no substitutions afterward. If the user wastes this jutsu, the opponent can counter by taking advantage of the user unable to use any more substitutions.
- Physical attacks can’t harm the user while performing this jutsu, but perhaps genjutsu can render the jutsu ineffective because it can only be used to avoid physical attacks, not mental ones.

(Suiton: Suishu Gorugon) - Water Release: Powerful Blasting Rain Trench
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user after performing Dragon → Tiger will summon a large amount of water that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. It has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent.

A basic attack. The user will perform two hand seals and summon water from out of the air. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent. Though to use the tech you will use the water instantly. The user will manipulate the water and send it towards the opponent as a projectile. It turns into a dragon and acts to engulf the opponent. The dragon is very flexible but its overall simple and quick to perform.

(Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri) - Water Release: Rising Water Cutter
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After waving the Tiger hand seal the user slams his foot to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards his target as a slicing jet.

The user will perform one hand seal and slam their foot on the ground. This causes water to suddenly rise up and dash towards the opponent as a slicing jet. It has the force to cut through many attacks and its very fast moving as well. Its projectile based as well and remains the shape of a slicing jet during it duration towards the opponent. A simple wall is all that is needed to block or even shacking the ground where the water is based on so you can disrupt its shape and render it useless. Its awesome for combos as well since you can send many attacks at once since its a projectile and more of a set-up.

(Suiton: Taihoudan) - Water Style: Water Gun
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Descripton: A strong water wave spit from the mouth that is more compressed than Chaos Water Wave and can carve the earth if used on the same area multiply times.

A fast moving and performing projectile based technique. The user will gather suiton in their mouth then The user will send a condensed ball of water straight towards any area the user chooses. Its a very fast moving technique as well as powerful enough to push an opponent back. The technique is limited in range only up to mid range. Its very basic in what its purpose is as well as what its meant to be. Its combo friendly as well being able to send multiple attacks. Basic walls are simple enough to stop the ball since it is quite straightforward.

Perform the technique: The first jutsu sounds very intimidating, even though Noni-senpai says that it’s basic. After listening to him speak, I nod and summon my chakra. I mold it to suiton chakra in my hands. I picture a ferocious dragon and, instead of breathing fire, it breathes water. Searing hot water traveling very fast. I weave the handseals Dragon -> Tiger.
“Suiton: Suishu Gorugon!”
Water pulls itself away from the air around me, and it’s an odd sight to see. However, I remain focused, forming the water and propelling it forward. The water takes the shape of a dragon as it rages ahead. Then, it approaches the dummy set before me and consumes it.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu would be good in combination with a lightning technique because the lightning would intensify the jutsu greatly by increasing the flow.
- This justu only has two handseals, making it quick and easy to perform because the user doesn’t have to waste their time with a long list of handseals.
- This jutsu is very flexible, meaning that it could probably evade any attacks the opponent might use to stop it because it can move easily.

Drawbacks/counters:- Being a short to mid-ranged technique, this jutsu wouldn’t affect an opponent who is far away. If the opponent was closer, they could still easily move out of range because of this jutsu’s restriction.
- This jutsu can be blocked by an earth wall because earth has the ability to stop water in its tracks.
- This justu can be stopped by a more powerful fire technique because fire can evaporate water.

________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I move on to the second jutsu and gather my chakra. As I mold it into suiton chakra, I focus on channeling the chakra to my feet and into the ground. I imagine water moving through the earth and forcing itself to the surface. I picture a great geyser, gushing out of the earth. I smile. Now that’s more like it. I weave the Tiger handseal.
“Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri!”
I pick up my foot and slam it to the ground as hard as I can. Sure enough, water shoots out of the ground beneath me, and I use my chakra to force it forward. I can feel the sharpness of a blade as the water shapes into a jet. The water moves forward until it hits the next dummy.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu would be another one that’s good for combination, except maybe with a wind technique because wind will increase the sharpness and cutting power of the water.
- This justu only has one handseal, making it quick and easy to perform because the user doesn’t have to go through as many handseals.
- If this jutsu is used powerfully enough, it can cut through other techniques because it’s very sharp and fast-moving.

Drawbacks/counters:- If the ground underneath is shaken or distorted, the water the user has summoned can be thrown off and rendered useless. An opponent could then counter before the user has regained their composure.
- An earth wall can block this jutsu because earth can overpower water by stopping it easily.
- Because of it being short to mid-ranged, this jutsu can be avoided by an opponent who is far away or could simply move farther away.

________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I finish with the last jutsu and gather my chakra. I send it to my mouth and mold it into suiton chakra. Just like before with the Starch Syrup Capture Field, I prepare myself to spit, but this time, I remember the pressurized water of the Water Prison. This jutsu has to be strong and sharp. I don’t have to weave any handseals, so I focus on aiming toward the ground a few feet in front of me.
“Suiton: Taihoudan!”
Water appears in my mouth, and I concentrate on forming it into a condensed ball. I then force it out, sending it toward the ground. When the ball hits the ground, it makes a tiny crater in the earth. At the same time though, the force of the impact sends me stumbling back a bit. I keep this in mind for future reference: be careful not to use this technique so close to yourself.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu would work well in combination with other techniques because it’s a very fast jutsu, and the user can follow up with other attacks immediately after this one.
- This jutsu could be used with a wind technique to increase the power behind the jutsu because wind adds to water’s destructive power.
- This justu could also be used with a lightning technique to increase the speed behind the jutsu because lightning adds to water’s speed and agility.

Drawbacks/counters:- A wall made of earth could stop this jutsu because it’s very straightfoward, and earth can block water.
- A powerful fire technique could stop this jutsu because fire can evaporate water. If an opponent countered with a fire technique, they could take advantage and follow it up with other attacks against the user.
- This justu is short to mid-ranged, meaning that an opponent who is out of range wouldn’t be affected by this jutsu.

All very basic techs this next set.

(Suiton: Seibun Hofutsu) - Water Style: Water Heavens Convergence
Rank: C
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the required hand signs Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger the user makes water rise from the ground and they can use this water in various ways. They can create a body of water for a water summoning to be encased in and allow them to move around where normally no water exists, or create a body of water to block incoming attacks or surround his target and then drown them.

Okay after performing that long list of hand seals. You will rise water from the ground which you can manipulate in a various of ways. First of all its a great arsenal for you to use. The amount of water summoned can allow you to use certain jutsus which require a water source if you don't all ready have one. You can encase a water summon around it to allow it to be in the field and move freely. You can use it to block attacks as well. Its a very handy jutsu to use and simple. Only a small amount is summoned so its not like you can use it to perform water jutsus that require a larger water source.

(Suiton: Suichuu Teigen no Jutsu) – Water Release: Underwater Motion Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: This Technique allows the user to properl themselves through a body of water by using their chakra. While underwater, this technique will also partially mask the users presence.
Note: Must be a large water source such as a lake to use.

Okay so this is a very basic and ordinary technique in all honesty. Its purpose is when the user is underwater they will propel themselves through the water by releasing their chakra throughout their body. This can also mask the users presence while underwater making it tough for the random ninja to find you but a sensory or dojutsu is able to. It can work for snick attacks and its handy when you are caught underwater. Its a fast jutsu to use and rather simple. Though this can only be used in water sources like rivers, lakes, oceans, etc.

(Suiton: Suihachi) – Water Release: Hand of waves
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: the user will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand.

Not much to really talk about here. Its very fast to perform and simple as well. the user will release a set of water from the palm of their hands towards the opponent. It has an impact property forcing them back which makes its main purpose is close range battle which is actually very handy. Its also good to douse out certain fire attacks and clear away smoke.

“Alright, senpai!”

Perform the technique: I close my eyes and put my hands together, focusing on gathering my chakra. I channel my chakra to my hands and my feet, sending a bit of it into the ground. I begin to mold my chakra into suiton chakra, thinking of a geyser once more. I picture it shooting up from the earth, except in a smaller amount. I use the handseals Tiger -> Dog -> Monkey -> Snake -> Boar -> Tiger.
“Suiton: Seibun Hofutsu!”
I thrust my hands out and flip them over, my palms raised toward the sky. I focus on bringing water to the surface. The water suddenly appears from under me and comes up over my head. I flip my hands back over and aim my palms forward. The water shots straight at a dummy before surrounding it, and the water turns into an orb around the dummy.

Creative uses/strengths:- The variety of ways the user can use this jutsu is great because the user can utilize this jutsu in many defensive or supplementary moves.
- The user can give themselves a source of water to use even with no water source around because this jutsu summons water from the ground.
- If the user has a water summon and they are in an area with no water, the user can use this jutsu around the summon to allow it to move freely because the summon will have its own source of water.

Drawbacks/counters:- The long list of handseals would make this jutsu difficult to use because an opponent could easily find a moment to attack with a jutsu sans handseals. They could counter with an attack before the user even used this jutsu.
- This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range wouldn’t be affected by this jutsu because they are too far away.
- This jutsu could be stopped by a considerable fire or earth technique because only a small amount of water is summoned for this jutsu.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I consider Noni-senpai’s words and look to the river flowing next to us. I start removing my shoes and jacket, and before I know it, I’m in the water. I shiver a bit from the cold, but quickly get over it. I focus on gathering my chakra and molding it into suiton chakra, which takes my mind off of the temperature. I imagine being underwater and moving with a current, letting the water do the work. Except in this case, my chakra must do the work. I dive down into the water before performing the jutsu.
Suiton: Suichuu Teigen no Jutsu!
My chakra suddenly explodes from my body, and I’m moving fast and smooth up the river. The chakra continues to exude at a constant rate until I’m out of breath. I break the surface of the water, gasping for air.

Creative uses/strengths:- When the user and an opponent are trapped underwater, it gives the user a huge advantage because they can either get a chance to incapacitate the opponent or make an escape.
- An opponent will have a hard time finding the user because this jutsu masks the user’s presence while they are underwater.
- This justu could be used for a sneak attack because, with the aid of masking their presence, the user can surprise an opponent and attack speedily.

Drawbacks/counters:- An opponent who has sensory abilities or dojutsu can find the user, rendering the jutsu’s advantage of masking the user’s presence useless. The opponent could counter very quickly because they can find the user easily.
- This jutsu can’t be used in combination with a lightning technique because both the user and opponent will be affected by the shock underwater.
- This jutsu requires a large water source and for the user and opponent to be in it, so this jutsu would be useless in an arid place with no water.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I emerge back onto land, my clothes soaking wet. I shake some water off , but otherwise, I listen once more to Noni-senpai. Once he’s finished, I gather my chakra, letting it flow to my right hand specifically. I mold my chakra into suiton chakra, thinking of a fast and powerful jet of water. I hold my right arm out in front of me and place my left hand on my forearm.
“Suiton: Suihachi!”
I feel the water forming in the very center of my palm. In a split second, a quick jet of water shoots from my hand and toward a dummy senpai has set up. The force of the water blows the dummy off of its stand, and it lands on the ground.

Creative uses/strengths:- Because it doesn’t have handseals and it’s very fast to perform, the user can have the upper hand in a close-ranged fight.
- This jutsu is actually great enough to douse certain fire techniques because of its powerful jet of water.
- This jutsu could be used in combination with a lightning or wind technique because either element can increase the strength of this jutsu. A wind technique could specifically because it would increase the impact of the jet.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short-ranged, so an opponent could easily be or easily move out of range of the jutsu and counter with their own technique.
- A significant fire technique could evaporate this jutsu because fire overpowers water.
- An earth technique could stop this jutsu in its tracks because earth stops water easily.

(Suiton: Suishi no Jutsu) – Water Drowning Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After waving the Boar → Dog → Horse → Tiger hand seals, the user will gather a large amount of water to form a large spiraling stream of water. It can be guided to strike a target in a number of angles.
Note: Requires a nearby water source.

Another basic but very flexible attack. After performing the required hand seals they will manipulate a water source to create a streaming water which can be guided by the opponents chakra while maintaining complete focus on it. It can hit a number of targets as well as act as a barrier. You must maintain focus on it but its a handy jutsu. Due to its mobility it can move through tight spaces and hit in angle most would find difficult.

(Suiton: Daibakuryuu) - Water Release: Great Exploding Current
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: User creates a whirlpool that sucks any opponent in range underwater.
Note: Must be performed on a water source

A surprise attack jutsu, while your opponent is standing on top of a water source. With manipulation of the water under the opponent, the user will create a whirlpool which will suck everything in range, that includes yourself if you are caught so be weary. It is considered a jutsu for distractions and set up mainly for attacks. You're opponent must be on a water source.

(Suiton: Kokuun) - Water Style: Black Clouds
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description:After performing the Ram → Snake → Tiger hand seals the user creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.

A supplementary jutsu. The user after performing the required hand seals will create a black mist cloud right above the opponent where its size is just big enough to cover a short range of where it is placed but the cloud itself can be moves up to mid range of your own location. The black cloud will begin to rain a flammable substance (oil). It does not cause any restriction of movement but its main purpose is to ignite it with fire to completely burn the opponent severely. Now if you are ever caught using a full body wind jutsu can easily blow the oil away.

Perform the technique: I gather my chakra and begin to mold it into suiton chakra. I focus on the river flowing next to us as I channel the chakra to my hands. I return to the image of a water spout, picturing its spiraling and spinning. I perform the handseals Boar -> Dog -> Horse -> Tiger.
“Suiton: Suishi no Jutsu!”
I aim my hands towards the river and sure enough, I summon a large amount of water from it. I concentrate as hard as I can on controlling the water and changing it into a stream. As the stream moves forward, I start to make it spiral. The stream moves faster and the spiraling picks up speed until the stream hits a dummy.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu can be used both offensively and defensively because its speed and power, it can either be used to hit a number of opponents or act as a barrier.
- Because of its mobility, this jutsu can move through tight spaces and hit in angles most would find difficult.
- Combined with a lightning or wind technique, this jutsu could be much faster and stronger because lightning and wind increase the impact of a water technique.

Drawbacks/counters:- Without a nearby water source, or if the user hasn’t created a source of their own, this jutsu is useless.
- A sufficient fire technique could stop this jutsu because fire can evaporate water. An opponent could counter with a fire technique that overpowers this jutsu.
- A sufficient earth technique could stop this jutsu because earth can block the flow of water easily.
_________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai, intrigued. After he’s done speaking, I take one of the dummies and channel chakra into the stand so that it can stay on the water’s surface. I put him onto the river and step back. I begin gathering my chakra and creating suiton chakra. I picture the whirlpool Senpai spoke of in my mind. I channel the chakra to my hands and don’t form any handseals.
“Suiton: Daibakuryuu!”
I morph the water underneath the dummy into a swirling, spinning whirlpool. In an instant, the dummy is sucked down into the water and taken under the surface. The whirlpool disappears and a few moments later, the dummy floats to the surface.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu is great for a surprise attack because the jutsu uses the water underneath an opponent to drag them down into the water, catching them off-guard.
- This jutsu could give the user an advantage in battle because they can suck an opponent underwater and proceed to fight them under the surface.
- If enough opponents are in range of the this jutsu, all of them can be sucked underwater because of the whirpool’s size and power.

Drawbacks/counters:- If not careful, the user can be sucked in the whirpool as well, and if an opponent evaded the whirpool, they can counter by attacking the user while the user is off-guard.
- This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, so any opponents out of range won’t be affected by this jutsu.
- If an opponent isn’t on a water source, then this jutsu is rendered useless.
- If there’s no available water source, this jutsu is also rendered useless.
___________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I start to gather my chakra and mold it into suiton chakra. Noni-senpai’s description echoes in my head. I imagine storm clouds gathering, as dark as night. I then picture the slimy feeling of oil, and I imagine it being ignited. I focus on the chakra pulsing in my hands, and I perform the handseals Ram -> Snake -> Tiger.
“Suiton: Kokuun!”
From my hands, a black mist forms and circles in front of me until it creates a cloud. Using my chakra and focusing heavily, I move the cloud over the dummy that’s been set up for me. I separate my chakra, picturing it falling as droplets of rain. Instead, the cloud disperses as drops of oil and covers the dummy completely.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu can be used in combination with a fire technique because the oil from the cloud is flammable, and the user can burn an opponent covered in the oil.
- This jutsu can cover multiple opponents who are in the same area because the jutsu can change from a short to mid-ranged technique.
- This jutsu has a short list of handseals, making it fairly fast to perform in the heat of battle, and it can be followed up quickly by another jutsu.

Drawbacks/counters:- A strong wind technique can blow the cloud or the oil away because wind can move these things very easily. An opponent can counter by blowing the cloud or oil away and attack before the user even finishes the jutsu.
- The user has to be careful not to be under the cloud because they themselves could be covered in oil and burnt if they followed this jutsu with a fire technique.
- An opponent outside of this jutsu’s range won’t be affected because this jutsu is only short to mid-ranged.

(Suiton: Takitsubo) - Water Release: Waterfall Basin
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Dog → Ram the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

Basic technique the user does 3 hand seals and controls water veins that run down a mountain making it very location based to use properly. Water will begin to fall from it creating a water fall. The more chakra you send the larger the water fall itself can become. This can be used to set up certain water techniques that require a water source being a good source. It can make your presence if you hide behind it, it be hard for the opponent to find you as well as you can do a surprise attack. Though with sensory and dojutsu users would not be the best idea to do.

(Suiton: Mizu Tsurudan) - Water Release: Water Tendril Bullets
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will manipulate one of their water clones to dissolve back to water and turn into four pointed projectiles that shoot at the target.
Note: Must create a water clone before hand.

After making a water clone it will go close to the opponent and by the will of the opponent, the clone will dissolve back into water and suddenly 4 projectile which are quite sharp will act to try and impale the opponent. You must have a water clone first before you do this tech. You can use the clone to get in close to the opponent making evasion much more difficult to perform. Its also a sudden technique so it can deceive the opponent if used correctly. Its a straightforward tech and after the projectiles have been sent your done from their and you can continue to another tech.

(Suiton: Mizu Yashiken no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Palm Blade Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will first strike their target with couple of punches and kicks them lifting the target into the air and the user will then concentrate their chakra into their palm and then swinging their arm in a arc they release chakra creating a cresent blade of water that strike the target.

Okay a straightforward technique. After doing some quick body movement attacks, like punches and kicks. You will finally launch the opponent in the air and while the opponent is airborne the user will concentrate water chakra in their palm and swing it towards the hanging opponent releasing a crescent blade of water which will act to impale the opponent on contact. Now this is a basic technique and very good for close range usage. Having good speed and fluid movement would work well with this jutsu, using drunken fist would be a great combo. An opponent in the air has very little they can do. Ways to counter is if the opponent gets in close range, you can use a armor to hurt their fist. One of the many counters.

Perform the technique: I take a deep breath in and release it again before putting my hands together and gathering chakra. I muster a lot of chakra and begin molding it into suiton chakra. I imagine a great waterfall and the thundering sound it makes as it falls into a basin. I continue collecting chakra until it feels as though I’m about to burst. I channel it into my hands, making my fingers throb. I weave the handseals Boar -> Dog -> Ram.
“Suiton: Takitsubo!”
I focus on the ridge not far from us, and water quickly begins to form on top of it. The water starts to cascade down the ridge, changing and shaping the land around it. It pours down until it carves a basin below, and it forms a very powerful waterfall. I stop channeling chakra into it, gasping for breath a bit.

Creatives uses/strengths:- In an area with no water, this jutsu could create a large water source because the user summons a bigger waterfall with the more chakra they put into it.
- This jutsu could be a good one to use for a surprise attack because the waterfall could mask the user’s presence if they hide behind it.
- The short list of handseals makes this jutsu very quick and easy to use because the user doesn’t have to spend much time on the handseals.

Drawbacks/counters:- The user won’t be able to mask their presence if an opponent is a dojutsu user or sensor because the opponent would be able to see or sense the user easily. The opponent can counter by finding the user quickly and attacking faster.
- This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range won’t be affected by the jutsu or could easily evade the jutsu.
- The waterfall is only as big as how much chakra the user channels into the jutsu, which could be fatal if the user is low on chakra.

________________________________________

Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai and proceed to create a water clone first. As I gather my chakra and mold it into suiton chakra, I revisit the image I had in my head when I first did a water clone. I focus my chakra into my hands and perform the Tiger handseal.
“Mizu Bunshin!”
In an instant, water comes from the basin I created, and a water clone is formed next to me. I send the water clone before me and make it dissolve back into water. The water hovers in a ball at first, but then I focus on it and channel my chakra.
“Suiton: Mizu Tsurudan!”
The ball of water changes into four, sharp projectiles. I shoot them forward toward a dummy that’s been set up before me, and the projectiles dig themselves into the material of the dummy.

Creative uses/strengths:- With no handseals, this jutsu is very quick to perform because the user can just use the water already provided by the water clone.
- This jutsu would be good to use in combination with another technique because this jutsu is so fast to perform that the user can follow it with another attack quickly.
- This justu could be good to use with a lightning or wind technique because both elements would increase the strength of the projectiles.

Drawback/counters:- Without a water source, this jutsu can’t be done because the water clone requires a water source, and without the water clone, this jutsu is useless.
- A fire technique could easily dispatch this jutsu because fire overpowers water. An opponent could counter by evaporating the projectiles and attacking straight after.
- An earth technique could easily block this jutsu because earth can stop water very simply.

________________________________________

Perform the technique: I wait until Noni-senpai finishes explaining the last technique of this set. I gather my chakra and mold it into suiton chakra. I pinpoint it to a small, compact circle in the middle of each palm. I picture what a sickle might look like and prepare to create that image with water. I stand before a dummy before proceeding with punching and kicking it. Finally, I feel prepared to use the jutsu.
“Suiton: Mizu Yashiken no Jutsu!”
I’ve kicked the dummy high into the air and, as it falls, I concentrate on the chakra in my palms. I then use my right arm to make an arc, releasing my chakra and summoning water. The water shapes into a crescent blade and, as I bring my arm down, I strike the dummy. The dummy lands on the ground not too far from me with a gash in its torso.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu would work well with taijutsu because as the user is attacking an opponent with punches and kicks, the user can use this jutsu to get the upper hand.
- With no handseals, this jutus is very quick to use, making it very handy during a short-ranged fight, like it’s intended for.
- This jutsu is good for attacking an opponent while in mid-air because the opponent will have very little ability to react to this jutsu.

Drawbacks/counters:- An opponent out of range of this jutsu won’t be affected by it because it’s intended for short-range use only. The opponent could count with a mid to long-ranged technique.
- An opponent could create armor, a shield or other defensive technique to stop this jutsu and keep themselves from taking any damage, especially if the technique is an earth technique.
- A fire technique could also stop this jutsu because fire can evaporate water.

( Suiton: Mizu Hashira Suiryoku no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.

A simple but handy jutsu. It can be used quickly without a hand seals or water source. You can rise a pillar of below the opponent to send them high into the air which from their you can send an attack. Its great for combos. Also you can even use it for yourself to send you mid-air and evade certain attacks and since it causes no damage you can send a attack with no hesitation. If user ever against you, one thing you can do is send a stream of wind to push yourself back to evade attacks.

( Suiton: Haretsu sui Yashi ) - Water Release: Water Bursting Palm
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After making the ram hand seal the user generates water around their right arm and then by thrusting their arm forwards they release the water in the form of a projectile bullet that drives through the opponent pushing them back several feet.

A very basic jutsu. First of all it requires one hand seal and it can only work short range. This is a very large risk to take because though its one hand seal a opponent can easily use a taijutsu move before you fully perform the technique. Its a basic short range attack and nice to use. The user will create a water around their arm and send a projectile bullet which acts to forcefully push the opponent back. Its also fast moving bullet, if you are able to fully perform the technique then evasion is very difficult. A nice jutsu I recommend trying to restrict the opponents movement so you can fully perform it accurately.

Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai intently before beginning with this jutsu. I put my hands together and gather my chakra. I channel it towards my feet and into the ground beneath me. Then, I focus on molding my chakra into suiton chakra. I remember the image I had of a geyser, except I imagine lifting someone into the air with it. I inhale and exhale again.
“Suiton: Mizu Hasira Suiryoku no Jutsu!”
I concentrate on my chakra as I create the water, and it rises up quickly from underneath the dummy that’s been set before me. I send more chakra into the water, lifting the dummy high into the air. I then cut off my chakra flow, letting the water disappear. The dummy falls to the ground with a thud.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu can not only be used on an opponent, but the user can use the jutsu on themselves, making this jutsu both offensive and defensive in battle.
- This jutsu requires no handseals or a water source, so it’s very quick and efficient to use during a fight because it would take no time at all to use this jutsu.
- This jutsu would be great for combinations with other techniques because after using this jutsu to get an opponent in the air, they would have very little to no time to react and defend themselves against a jutsu immediately following.

Drawbacks/counters:- Since this jutsu is short to mid-ranged, an opponent out of range wouldn’t be effected by this jutsu. The opponent could also counter by moving out of range and attacking before the user even uses this jutsu.
- If an opponent is prepared enough, they can actually use this jutsu to their advantage because the height of this jutsu would give the opponent the advantage of an aerial attack.
- An opponent could blow themselves away from the water with a wind technique because it would allow the opponent to move off of the pillar and enable them to attack.

_______________________________________________

Perform the technique: After Noni-senpai finishes explaining, I start to gather my chakra, focusing it to my right arm and hand. I mold my chakra into suiton chakra, imagining a spiraling jet of water surrounding my arm and shooting forward. I also picture making that jet into a sharp projectile and sending it toward an enemy. I weave the Ram handseal.
“Suiton: Haretsu Sui Yashi!”
I conjur the water, and it spins around my right arm, faster and faster the more I focus on my chakra. After a few seconds, I thrust my arm forward, aiming at the dummy before me. The water quickly creates a bullet-shaped projectile and shoots ahead. The bullet hits the dummy square in the chest, tearing through the material and blowing the dummy back several feet.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu only requires one handseal, making it a very quick and easy jutsu to perform.
- Combined with a technique to restrict an opponent’s movements, this jutsu would be very hard to evade because the opponent is immobilized.
- Due to the speed of this jutsu, it would also be very hard to evade.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short-ranged, making it useful only during close combat. An opponent could easily counter by being or moving out of range and attacking before the user has even completed this jutsu.
- Even though there is only one handseal, an opponent using taijutsu can land an attack before the user has even weaved the handseal because the user must take the time to do so.
- If an opponent has created or is wearing armor or a shield, this jutsu wouldn’t be effective because even though the bullet is fast, it might not be powerful enough to penetrate a strong enough piece of armor or shield.

( Suiton: Seisuiryu ) - Water Release: Azure Water Stream
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a moving body of water beneath him that travels towards the opponent carrying the user. They then slash the opponent with their sword multiple times.

Okay this is actually a handy jutsu but is misused many times. The user will simply create a pool of water beneath them which acts to carry the opponent forward. Not side to side, it acts to only move one direction towards the opponent. Its good to evade certain techniques. Now when you reach the opponent, you take out your sword and slash him up to bits. Its a fast acting jutsu so its hard for the opponent to note come in contact though the pool can only move mid range at most. Its a nice jutsu to use for close range battle. A simple counter which you can turn into a offense is electrifying the water, shock the opponents feet.

( Suiton: Nagareru no Muchi ) - Water Release: Flowing Whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user first kneads chakra in their mouth and then, placing their hand on their mouth expels water in the form of a whip which they use to lash their opponent, sending them flying backwards.

Okay a streaming water technique meaning you will have to keep constant control over its movement and where you send it. You will basically send a stream of water towards the opponent which acts to lash or whip the opponent and send the back some meters. Now its hard to evade since its streaming so you can specifically aim and control as long as you remain focused. Blocking is the best thing to do for this jutsu as a line of defense.

Perform the technique: I listen to Noni-senpai, paying special attention to how he explains that this jutsu is often misused. So, I wish to do it correctly. After he is finished with instructing, I gather my chakra, channeling it to my feet and the ground beneath me. As I mold my chakra into suiton chakra, I picture water pooling at my feet and moving the water and myself forward. I feel ready enough to draw a kunai from the pack on my leg and perform the jutsu.
“Suiton: Seisuiryu!”
Water begins to form underneath me, and I focus intently on raising it up. I rise with it, going a few feet into the air and moving towards the dummy set a short distance away from me. I increase the speed of the water with my chakra, putting my kunai forth. I pass the dummy, slashing it with my kunai. I land on the ground behind the dummy, the water disappearing.

Creative uses/strengths:- Because the user is moving with the water at such great speeds, this jutsu would be useful for evading attacks and getting close to an opponent.
- Since this jutsu requires no handseals and goes so quickly, an opponent would have a hard time countering this jutsu.
- This jutsu would be great in conjunction with a wind technique, not just to increase the speed or power of the water, but to also perhaps extend the reach of the user’s sword.

Drawbacks/counters:- The use of a lightning technique with this jutsu is ill-advised because the user would then shock themselves. Or an opponent could counter this jutsu by using a lightning technique to shock the user.
- Since the stream of water can’t move side to side and just in one direction, it might be difficult to evade some attacks.
- This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, meaning that an opponent out of range wouldn’t be affected by this jutsu.

__________________________________________

Perform the technique: After concentrating on Noni-senpai’s words, I gather my chakra again, this time channeling it into my mouth. I mold my chakra into suiton chakra, imagining myself expelling water from my mouth. I then picture the shape of a whip and its lashing strength as it strikes my opponent. I can feel my lips tingling from how much chakra I’ve summoned there.
“Suiton: Nagareru no Muchi!”
I slap my right hand to my mouth and force it away by spitting out a large amount of water. I consistently focus on the shape of a whip until I catch the stream of water in my right hand, and it forms a whip. I have the dummy in my sights and aim at it. I wind my arm back and then thrust it forward, sending the whip down onto the dummy. A vertical slash appears on the dummy’s torso before the dummy is pushed back several feet from the force of the attack.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu could be very useful for putting space between the user and an opponent because of the jutsu’s ability to send the opponent flying backwards.
- This jutsu would be hard to evade because there are no handseals to perform and the stream of water is so easy to aim and control.
- If using this jutsu to push an opponent back, the user could quickly follow up with a long-ranged technique to attack the opponent while they’re still recovering from this jutsu.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short-ranged, meaning it’s only useful in close combat. An opponent out of range or able to move out of range could easily counter with a mid to long-ranged technique.
- An earth technique could stop this jutsu because earth can block water.
- A fire technique could stop this jutsu because fire overpowers water and evaporates it.

( Suiton: Shawa ) - Water Release: Showers
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user condenses water vapour in the air above them to generate multiple projectiles of water which shoot at their target with a great amount of force and speed. The user can also shoot a barrage of small water projectiles directly from the swing of their hand.

This is a very useful technique. The user will use water vapor in the air wot create many water projectile attacks. They are very sharp as well as powerful. They can be made anywhere around short-mid range of the user and can be sent anywhere. Since they are projectile based attacks you can use them with combos. Masking kunais would be a smart but basic idea. They are guided by the swing of the users hand when aiming. It is very fast to perform as well as fast moving, perks include how simple but effective it is as well as no water source. Simple blocking of the projectiles can be used.

Perform the technique: I nod, confirming that I’ve listened to Noni-senpai, and I press my hands together. I gather my chakra and close my eyes, molding it into suiton chakra. I imagine rain falling from the sky, except in very sharp projectiles, almost like hail. I’ve channeled so much chakra into my hands that my fingers start to throb. I hold my right hand high above my hand.
“Suiton: Shawa!”
I focus on bringing water vapor together and condensing it into one spot. I create the projectiles and watch as the water vapor begins to form into them. I’ve made several before I decide to aim at the dummy set up not far away from me. I sweep my hand down, bringing the projectiles down onto the dummy. They puncture the dummy in multiple areas in the blink of an eye.

Creative uses/strengths:- With no water source and no handseals, this jutsu is very quick and easy to perform because the user doesn’t have to waste any time in using it.
- This jutsu would be great with many combos because this is a projectile-based attack, and it can be followed up with another attack very quickly.
- This jutsu has multiple uses because the user can either summon the water over an opponent’s head and brought down or have the projectiles come straight from their hand.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range wouldn’t be affected. An opponent in range, however, can easily move out of range and counter with an attack of their own.
- An earth wall could easily block the projectiles because the projectiles are made of water, and earth can stop water.
- A fire technique could easily stop the projectiles because the projectiles are made of water and so small, so the fire could simply evaporate the water.

I fall to the ground, finally letting myself rest a bit after this vigorous training. But, I still concentrate on Noni-senpai’s words.

“Alright. I will!”

1. Water Pillar Thrust: A simple technique, yet I think it has a variety of uses in battle. It can be used offensively by propelling an opponent into the air and attacking, or defensively by propelling the user into the air and evading. It’s great for combinations, and it’s a quick jutsu to use because it requires no handseals or a water source.

2. Water Replacement: Another simple technique, but I like how it can be used for deception and the user can’t be harmed by physical attacks. I like how quickly this jutsu can be performed, and I also like how it can be used if the user has to make their escape. This jutsu is a great substitution technique, considering that it isn’t an ordinary substitution technique.

3. Rain Tiger at Will Technique: I thought this jutsu was very interesting because the user can sense an opponent once the rain has made contact with them. This jutsu also has a flexible range for use in combat, anywhere from short to long-ranged. I think it can give the user a great advantage in battle, since they will be able to sense any opponents so easily.

4. Water Shock Wave: The sheer power of this technique is only one reason I admire it. I like the variety of ways that this jutsu can be used, from offensive or defensive, short to long-ranged, and in combination with other elements. If the user expels enough chakra, this technique can be very, very strong.

5. Water Clone: I enjoyed learning this technique because no matter what element they’re made of, clones are very tactical in battle if used correctly. Again, there’s such a variety of ways that clones can be used, and it’s a quick and easy jutsu to perform. Also, I believe the strengths of this justu outweigh the weaknesses.

(Suiton: Hahonryuu) - Water Style: Destruction Torrent
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After waving the Boar ? Dog ? Ram hand seals, a water vortex created in the palm of the user’s hand that can then be blasted forward creating a spiraling wall of water which can then be used to attack or defend.
Note: No water source required

Basic technique after performing the 3 hand seals required the user will create a vortex around the palm of his hand, then with a thrust aiming towards the opponent he will release it in hopes to attack or defend the opponent. Now it has a couple of hand seals and overall may take some time you can look in the anime yourself to notice. Its nice streaming technique with an intent to harm the opponent in two ways, pushing them back with a powerful thrust, and getting the opponent wet. Other then this notes its basic.

I swallow thickly. Oh boy… we’re starting with B-rank! I stand up and brush my pants off before listening to Noni-senpai.

Perform the technique: I begin to gather my chakra and mold it into suiton chakra. As I do, I picture the swirling of water in my palm. I then imagine the water going forward and spiraling toward my enemy before it turns into a wall of water. I stay focused and concentrate on that image, channeling my chakra into my hands, specifically my right one. I weave the handseals Boar -> Dog -> Ram.
“Suiton: Hahonryuu!”
I feel a ball of water form into my right hand, and it starts to swirl very quickly in my palm. I summon enough water until my hand can’t hold anymore, and I thrust my right arm out toward a dummy that’s been positioned several feet away. The water blasts ahead, spiraling and creating a large wall. It continues going forward until it blows the dummy away. The dummy lands into the river nearby, and I clench my fists in victory.

Creative uses/strengths:- As seen in the anime, this jutsu can be used in combination with Fuuton: Rasenshuriken or another wind technique to create an entirely new technique because wind increases water’s speed and destructive power.
- This jutsu is both offensive and defensive, giving the user a variety of ways to use this jutsu in battle. It’s also short to mid-ranged, making it very useful in close combat.
- This jutsu would be very hard for an opponent to evade because of the speed of the vortex this jutsu creates.

Drawbacks/counters:- As seen in the anime as well, this jutsu has a few handseals and may take some time to summon the water to a user’s hand and thrust it forward.
- This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, so an opponent out of range wouldn’t be affected by this jutsu. The opponent could counter by easily moving out of range and avoiding the technique, giving them an opportunity to attack while the user is preoccupied.
- A substantial fire or earth technique could stop this jutsu because enough fire can evaporate water, and enough earth can block water.

(Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique
Rank: B-S-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20-40
Damage Points: 40-80
Description: After performing a long series of hand seals Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar → Bird → Ox → Horse → Bird → Rat → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Ox → Ram → Snake → Boar → Ram → Rat → Yang Water → Monkey → Bird → Dragon → Bird → Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake → Rat → Monkey → Hare → Boar → Dragon → Ram → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Bird → Yang Water → Rat → Boar → Bird the user then shapes a large amount of water into a giant, powerful dragon, which hits the opponent with formidable might, dealing physical damage. The ideal place to use it is near a body of water, but if the user's skill allows it, it is possible to use it even in a place where there is none. The amount of water used will be in proportion with the user's skill as well as its power which can vary. Ninjas with a primary water specialty will be able to produce up to an S-Rank technique; ninjas with a secondary water specialty will be able to produce up to an A-Rank technique; normal water masters will produce the basic B-Rank technique. Tobirama was able to use this technique with a single hand seal showing testiment to his skill in water ninjutsu.
Note: Requires a water source to use.

A very famous and destructive jutsu that really in my opinion is one of the bests in the suiton list. Now yes unless you specialize in water for your bio, you will have to complete all of those hand seals. After the hand seals is done the user will manipulate the near by water source to rise it and mold its shape to create a very powerful dragon. The user must remain focus during the performance and until he sends the dragon to the opponent. Now it has the raw power to seriously hurt the opponent as well as drench the area, depending on the terrain, where and what type of water source. Little to say its main purpose is to be as offensive as it can be. A huge downside to it is those hand seals. The amount of time to perform them would take very long, in the midst of battle.

(Suiton: Suiryuben) - Water Style: Water Dragon Whip
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates an orb of water from which several sharp whips of water emerge. Those whips can then be directed towards one or multiple targets, impaling them on impact.

This is a useful technique, quick and easy as well. With the Tiger hand seal the user will create a orb to appear anywhere he/she desires, I recommend a little but close to you. Now while always remaining focused towards the orb the user will release multiple whips out of the orb directed all over the area where the opponent is. The whips are highly flexible and very fast pace. They can be released anywhere on the orb, and towards any part of the field since it deals a long range.

(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Release: Gunshot
Rank: B/A-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20/30
Damage Points: 40/60
Description: The user will do the Tiger handseal and will gather water in his mouth and then spits out either a single very large sphere of rotating water that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked or a series of up to 5 smaller yet faster bullets. The power of the technique depends on how much chakra the user inputs into it.

This is a very convenient technique which has a large amount of mobility which is a reason why I like it. The user will do one hand seal and spew out a fast rotating ball of water towards the opponent. You can send 1-5 balls of water and the attack potency depends on just how much chakra you add onto it. Sending one bullet is much more powerful and has ability to rip through even the strongest defenses. While sending more but small bullets are much more faster as well as tougher to evade. You can use this tech as a finishing move or to distract the opponent sending projectile water bullets over and over again. It has a large amount of purpose. Ways to counter are simple, projectiles are usually straightforward so blocking is easy as well as certain evasion methods.
