Tamaki waits for his senpai, keeping poised on the outside. On the inside, he frets.

My very first training session... I hope I do well!

*takes a deep breath* Very well, senpai.

Advantages: -Water is strong against fire, due to the fact that it can extinguish the fire.
-Water can be used along with lightning to strengthen a lightning technique and increase the flow of electricity.
-Water can also be used along with wind, increasing a wind technique's strength and adding more destructive power to the technique.
-Water is one, if not the, most versatile element to use.

Disadvantages: -With a very powerful fire technique, water can be evaporated.
-Water is weak against earth because earth can stop the force of water easily.
-In a very arid environment, water could almost be rendered useless.

Use in battle: Water can either be derived from a source of water or manipulated by the user using his/her chakra. Water has the ability by be used as a short, mid, or long-ranged attack in battle, depending on the technique. Water techniques can be offensive or defensive, and the speeds water can reach can make the techniques even more effective.

The physical side of water: Water is always flowing, always moving. Even in a water source such as a lake, the water is still moving in some way. Water can be shaped very easily, and when a path is blocked, water can still find its way down that path.

The spiritual side of water: Water is inner peace and tranquility, but in my mind, this doesn't equate to stillness. The physical aspect that water is always moving can also be applied as a spiritual aspect. Water represents the movement of the physical and emotional inside oneself, physical being the blood pumping through one's body and the emotional being the feelings that are constantly within a person.

Users: Tobirama Senju, Kisame Hoshigaki, Zabuza Momochi, and Mei Terumi, to name a few.

*smiles* I hope that was to your liking.

Will suffice, but very well. Now just perform the jutsus rping them out.
(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

Okay to start off we will begin very simple. I want you to gather your raw chakra and release the chakra forward while manipulating the nature of the chakra into suiton chakra. Summon a small wave of water and send it towards the dummy set up short range. It should wash up the dummy. Fairly simple nothing much to say here. Try though to be descriptive as possible for your sake.

*nods, feeling relieved* Yes, sir!

Listening to Noni-senpai carefully, I press my palms together and close my eyes. I feel the warmth increasing inside as I gather my chakra. It spreads from my core and goes outward to my fingers and toes. I feel a slight vibration between my hands and, when I open my eyes, my hands are tinted blue with chakra. Even as the color disperses, the chakra flow within my body is going strong.

Then, I close my eyes again, my palms still pressed together. I now begin to manipulate my chakra into suiton chakra. In my mind's eye, I picture great ocean waves crashing against the shore, a river flowing through the woods, and other sources of water in nature. I picture myself creating my own source of water and sending it toward the dummy before me. Water is always flowing...

I open my eyes, thrusting my hands in front of me. "Suiton no Jutsu!"

A small wave materializes before me and speeds towards the dummy. The wave comes crashing down on top of the dummy, and some of the water still keeps going. However, the dummy is washed up as Noni-senpai said. I'm celebrating my victory on the inside, but on the outside, I remain still, my hands still in front of me.

"How was that, senpai?"

;_; That was amazing, Keep it up like that.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dojutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

A very famous water jutsu, I want you to gather your chakra in the pit of your stomach and manipulate the nature into suiton chakra. Thin out the suiton chakra to an extent and release from your mouth a thick mist all over the terrain. Release it in between us so when it covers the terrain we will lose vision of one another. Another simple tech nothing to much about it. I should tell you though using a water source to create the mist is much more faster, the opponent would have little to no time to stop the mist covering the area. Though for now use your own chakra source.

*grins* W-Wow! Thanks, senpai! I will!

I let my arms fall to my sides as I listen once again. I can't help but feel excited; like Noni-senpai says, this jutsu is very famous, and I'm about to learn it. It's also interesting to hear that the Byakugan can't be fooled by this jutsu, like the Sharingan and Rinnegan can. I didn't know that before. I remind myself of what Noni-senpai also told me: using a water source would be much more faster, but I prepare to use my own chakra source.

I begin by pressing my palms together and gathering chakra again, but this time, I focus on directing my chakra to the pit of my stomach. The heat I felt before throughout my whole body now pools there, ironically like water. My thoughts drift to an image of a lake. I imagine the chakra being thinned out like the surface of that lake.

"Kirigakure no Jutsu!"

I take a deep breath and exhale, sending mist out straight ahead of me and separating myself from Noni-senpai. The mist spreads across the entire terrain. I watch as Noni-senpai disappears into the fog, and it surrounds me completely. I can't help but swallow nervously as I look around in a full circle.

"Senpai? How did I do?" I call out.

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

A nice suiton jutsu. Like always gather your chakra in your chakra system all over your body. Channel the chakra towards through your arm and stop at your hand. Then nature manipulate the chakra into suiton. Your hand will have suiton chakra in it, release it and shape the chakra into a sharp water sword. It has the same attack potency as a regular blade. I want you to stap the dummy that appeared right next to you out of nowhere.

As Noni-senpai moves on to the next jutsu, I assume that my last jutsu was sufficient. I listen to senpai's voice as I look for him in the mist. Finally, I decide to stand still, and I start to do as he says. I press my hands together and close my eyes, gathering chakra. Again, I feel the warmth inside of me and the chakra spreading out to my limbs. However, I focus on my right arm and right hand. I extend my right arm to my side. The chakra stops and forms in my palm. With my left hand now at my side, I begin to manipulate my chakra into suiton chakra.

My eyes are still closed, and I picture a river carving its way through a canyon. I imagine a samurai sword as well, and picture the two things combining into one. The river's ability to make its way through a canyon and the samurai sword share the same sharpness. I open my eyes right as the dummy appears next to me.

"Suiton: Mizu Kuri no Yaiba!"

From my right hand, an orb of water forms. It shapes and extends until it becomes the samurai sword I conjured in my head. I hold it with both hands in front of me. I take a wide stance and face the dummy all in one move. Then, I thrust the sword forward, stabbing the dummy right through the stomach. I slowly withdraw the sword and let the water dissipate, making the sword disappear. I search for Noni-senpai in the mist, wondering how I performed.

"Thank you, senpai." I inhale and exhale, speaking more to myself this time. "Okay, last one..."

I listen as the final jutsu is described to me. With a nod, I press my hands together one more time and gather my chakra. The warmth inside of me once more spreads outward, and I focus specifically on my arms and hands. I channel the most chakra there. I start to mold my chakra into suiton chakra. My mind wanders to the thought of ice and how strong of a shield it would make. However, I remind myself that this is water. A shield made of water has to be as strong as ice, but still moving. Always moving.

"Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu!"

I extend my arms in front of me, and water quickly forms inches before me. I can feel droplets against my face with how close the water is. I continue to focus and shape the water into a shield as tall as I am. It could block my entire body from an attack. I hold the shield until Noni-senpai tells me differently.

From now on use this template.

PHP:
Perform the technique:
Creative uses/strengths:
Drawbacks/counters:
How to use the template and fill it out effectively. This will also help your career in RP but it is quite a read though I do expect you to read it and carefully at that. I will notice if you have or not, and failure to write out the template correctly will result in a re-do of the jutsu(s).

Performance
When it comes to the performing point of the template, its all about imagination but this one is considered the most obvious of the whole template. When the student performs something you need to paint a picture in the teachers head to give them a clear image of everything that is going on and how you are reacting or feeling about the jutsu. Each jutsu will give different feelings and reaction. It is your job simply to show me how and what you are feeling and what is going on when performing the jutsus.

The things I expect in the performance are two things that are most important when performing the jutsus. The first is called Nature Manipulation. Nature manipulation is when the user will manipulate or control their raw chakra to change in basic nature which is one of the five basic elements. Now most people like to simply say something like this:
I gather my chakra and nature manipulate it into lightning chakra.
Yes this is okay but where is the creativity or the respect of actually wanting to perform and feel the jutsu? Now to explain every basic element properly on how to manipulate chakra into nature with more imagination and creativity such examples like this would work.
With my raw chakra gathered I begin to take focus upon the chakra. I begin to think of the warmth of the very sun and the blazing heat it gives off, I condense the chakra and finally mold the chakras nature into fire.

After gathering my chakra, I begin to take full control over it. I sharpen the chakra having the precious sharpness that surpasses that of a sword. Successfully I mold the chakra into wind chakra.
Now this is pretty much the basis when it comes to nature manipulation on how I see fit and what is best to impress your teacher. Now if you are wondering about how should I explain all the natures, well think about their property. Lightning has high frequent vibration and electrical sharpness, fire is superheated and blazing warm, water is free-flowing and very flexible, earth is rough and versatile, wind is sharp and thin with great accuracy. To be able to explain them you simply have to free your mind and become as creative as you can.

Now I can understand some times you don't want to go that deep into the jutsu because some are more simple then others and I can understand that, all I ask is to try and not be lazy with it.

The second thing that is most important when performing a jutsu correctly is called Shape manipulation. Now this is when you take the chakra or the chakra nature and shape it into any form or shape it requires to be properly formed. Shapes include spheres, animals (All types), blades, ect. This is all about attention to detail, and how precious you want to be when trying to perform the jutsu. Now here is a regular example that is done usually.
I manipulate the shape of my chakra to form a bullet.
Though again, that is not exactly wrong but where is the fun and creativity in that? This is all about paying attention to detail and how much you want to focus up on it. Here are some other examples that are more suffice.
After gathering my lightning chakra, I lengthen its size and sharpen the edge of the chakra to create a spear of lightning.

As I gather my chakra and release it forward, I begin to shape it and make it round as well as smooth leaving no bumps to create a spherical ball of chakra.
This is pretty much all it takes nothing more or less. You do not need to go extreme but detail is always best not only for me as a teacher but when you get in the habit of making proper and creative replies it will follow you in battle and help you greatly their when the time comes.

Creative uses/strengths

Now we are getting to the important part of all this. Now with this template I expect two things each with a total amount of detail. What I mean is firstly I expect you to tell me the strengths of a certain jutsu, I don't care how it works. I want to know what makes it useful. Things like that can include the jutsu is able to move in all ranges giving it a large amount of mobility. Another is you can send multiple attacks with one jutsu to attack more then one opponent or trying to barrage the opponent with attacks to make evasion difficult. Yes this are quite the small strengths but stuff like this count in the eyes of a teacher and needs to be taken in account. Though those are just some small examples what you really need to do is look into the jutsu itself. Try adding all or as much strengths with what you see in the jutsu. Also I understand some jutsus are more simple then others and might not have as much advantages but that is okay, its all about trying and thinking about it. But I do expect 1-3 strengths mentioned.

Lastly to perfect the strength portion, this is simple but something so many students fail to do. When you give a strength explain why that is considered a strength. Yes explain why. This is the most important part because it shows us how you plan on using it in battle and the teacher will be able to pick out what you have done wrong specifically. So simply saying it goes long range does not make it a hardcore advantage because if you think about it, that can also be considered a disadvantage. So by saying that it is very wrong and can confuse the teacher, all we really do is assume and guess what you are trying to say. So trying to perfect it, you would need to say something like this. This is the correct and proper way in doing the strength portion of the template.
The jutsu goes in long range, because of this the opponent will not be able to evade that easily by just pushing back and it can correspond with other jutsus.
Now the second portion of the template is creative usages. What is this is simply a combo or something you would do with the jutsu. This helps the teachers notice your style and what you are likely to accomplish in fighting so if you are doing anything wrong we can inject it and fix it so you do not make a mistake in battle. This is all about just being creative, every jutsu has a unique usage and can be used creatively or at the very least used in correspondence with other jutsus to create a combo to attack the opponent or turn the table on them.

Simple combos are of all kind, and most teachers will explain the jutsus usually giving a combo or a usage you can use, but it is the very basic of it. It is simply meant to show you how it is meant to be used or just to give you an idea. All because the teacher says it does not mean we want you to repeat what we said. You need to come up with another detail or combo. Simple combos could be like sending a fire jutsu towards the opponent and then use a jutsu to shake the ground to put the opponent off balance so it will be hard to react with the attack, and a more powerful combo could be when sending a fire jutsu direct it towards the ground and then send a single blade of wind behind the fire, which you can then activate the blade to turn into a hurricane to create a powerful fire vortex. Though with newer RPers they tend to sometimes use basic combos because they have seen less of the jutsu list or understand it less then others, but when you move on and learn more jutsu creating combos become much more easier and you begin to take action effectively.

Drawbacks/counters

Now this is the complete opposite of the strengths and creative usages. This is as equal as the strengths and creative usages for it allows the teacher to see exactly how is your understanding of the jutsu. Usually when people look at jutsus they tend to leave this with very little detail and failure to explain it properly. This is because many people believe disadvantages are to obvious to try and explain on why its a disadvantage which is the wrong mentality when doing this point. There are things with drawbacks and counter that need to be taken in account. What I usually expect from the student here is at least 1-3 drawbacks and at least one counter for the jutsu you would do.

Drawbacks when looking into it is not explained from the student, it is usually because of the double standards people give to jutsus. As I explained in the above long range attacks would be great attacks but their are disadvantages to them, one being is if the opponent is long range it will take much more time for the attack to reach the opponent so they will be able to counter the attack with ease. The thing is when it comes to advantages their will always be a disadvantage to that very thing. If something is great to use in short range battle it is useless in long range, if the jutsu is a projectile technique it can be used with combos but the jutsu will usually be straightforward and easy to anticipate. This is something always to consider when writing disadvantages that they're will always be one as long as you have listed advantages or mention them. So if you have two advantages mentioned then their is a huge likely hood that their will be two disadvantages with that, so their should not be much of a ratio difference between the two.

Listing proper drawbacks all depends on the way you fight and how you see the jutsu being used, usually it is looked at if the jutsu is sent or used against you, what would be the initial weaknesses you would sense. Firstly too look into listing them you have to take account everything in your senses and the jutsu concept. When it comes to the senses examples include if you send a large fire attack towards the opponent you will likely not be able to see through the fire so you won't be able to see how they are moving or what they are doing. If the opponent tries to use a jutsu with earth release that uses the ground as a medium you will be able to use your sense of feel, to feel the density of the ground begin to shift or change. Stuff like this are obvious disadvantages. Now when it comes with the jutsu concept those are usually the usual people tend to look into, so lets say the chidori only works in close range battle so it can't be used for anything but close range battle limiting the jutsu. Also jutsus that have long list of hand seals are disadvantages because it might take some time to perform the jutsu leaving you open. Streaming techniques are usually not good to use with combos but you have complete control where you aim them. (Notice their how their is a disadvantage but also a advantage because of that ability)

Lastly when it comes to countering the jutsu. Now how teachers picture your combos is usually as if the jutsu has already been sent so saying things like:
While he is performing the long list of hand seals I will send an attack before he completed them.
Yes they work but it will not always be the case like that so you need to be able to counter it as if it was already sent, though its not bad to mention that aspect saying because of the hand seals you can counter before he completes them but it is not what we look at, you are not simulating a battle situation, and that is what teachers what you to try to do and how they want to teach as if you were in battle. Remember when we were talking about how disadvantages work? Those are usually what a person will look at when trying to counter the jutsu, so lets say the opponent sends a lightning blade towards you as a projectile attack, this is what is acceptable.
Due to the fact it is straight forward and easy to notice (See the disadvantage) I can simply figure out where it is heading and I can create a dense defense like a wall or try to overpower it.
So using those disadvantages you listen can be used to make the proper counter towards the jutsu so remember that.

Lastly it is the type of counters we want to see. When it comes to countering a jutsu we don't want you just to stop the jutsu, we want you to turn the table and go on the offense so to impress try to add ways to not only defend but attack as well. Also try not to spam the same counter over and over, what I mean by that is if the opponent sends a lightning attack don't just say:
I will send a wind attack to overpower it.
That is far to generic, yes some techs are more straightforward then others but those should be the ones you can formulate better counters with, its okay to experiment and say something new or outside the box, that is what teachers want to see and what they expect. So instead of using a wind jutsu, why not use a water pillar to launch you in the air and then send a attack to go on the quick offense? Simple yes, but at least it is not generic and overdone.

So that is the basis of everything, all in all try to have fun and be creative with it, this is meant for enjoyment as well as a learning experience.

I let my shield disappear, and I sit cross-legged on the ground before Noni-senpai, listening to everything he has to say. I feel a little nervous, but I finally bow my head a little.

"I understand, senpai. I'm ready to begin when you are."

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

After 3 hand seals the user will channel suiton chakra and release it creating a whip of water. It can be sent towards the opponent lashing at them, or wrapping the opponent with it to bind them restricting their movements which then you can have an ally try to attack the opponent. If you bind the opponent with it you can send a lightning technique through it to shock and paralyze the opponent. You have complete control over the whip as well as the whip being very fast and flexible so its very mobile in tough situation. Though you are a walking target for lightning attacks if you are hit it will shock you. The whip can only go up to mid range at most so simple pushing back to get out of range is a well enough counter. Also you need to remain focus on the water whip if not then it will disperse.

“Okay, senpai. Here we go!”

Perform the technique: I stand completely still, mustering my chakra and letting it spread throughout my entire body. I focus until I can feel the chakra even in my fingertips. Then, I begin to mold the chakra into suiton chakra. I revisit my image of a river carving its way through a canyon, but this time, instead of thinking of the river’s sharpness, I think of its shape. The tight, hair-pin turns the river has to make throughout the canyon. It reminds me of the shape of a whip after it’s made contact with something.
I perform the handseals Rat -> Dog -> Ox sort of slowly, to make sure my hands are positioned just right. “Suiton: Suiben!”
An orb of water forms in my right hand, and I move as though I’m going to throw the orb. Instead, the orb shapes and moves forward until it forms a whip, and I keep hold of it. Like Noni-senpai said, I stay focused on the whip as it shoots forward and makes contact with a dummy. It lashes a fairly large cut on the dummy’s torso. I let the water disappear, excited that I managed to hit the dummy.

Creative uses/strengths:– The speed and mobility of this jutsu would make it very hard for an opponent to evade at close range because the opponent would have very little time to react and counter the jutsu.
- One can use this jutsu to hurt an opponent or to immobilize them, giving the user multiple options of how to utilize the jutsu in battle.
- This jutsu could be combined with a lightning or wind technique to increase the speed or strength of the whip because a lightning jutsu would increase the whip’s flow and a wind jutsu would increase the whip’s destructive power. Also, both lightning and wind could increase the whip’s ability to lash an opponent due to both elements increasing the sharpness of the whip.

Drawbacks:– There are only three handseals for this jutsu, however, an opponent could use a justu that requires no handseals to defend against this jutsu.
- This jutsu is designed for short and mid-ranged combat, so it wouldn’t be effective against an opponent who’s a long ways away.
- This jutsu could be evaporated by a strong fire technique because fire overpowers water as an element.
- This jutsu could be blocked by an earth technique because earth has the ability to stop water in its tracks.

Counters:- An opponent could either already be out of range of this jutsu (see drawback 2) or they could easily move out of range, so they could evade this jutsu.
- An opponent could have enough time to react to the jutsu in some way (see drawbacks 1 and 2), so they could quickly dodge or create a defense to block this jutsu (see drawbacks 2 and 4).

I sigh in relief. I look to Noni-senpai with a straight face, but on the inside… Man, I REALLY hope this is what he asked for.

I think I have a new star pupil ;_; (Just make sure the drawback/counter are kept together <_<)

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field
Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

A very good jutsu the user after two hand seals will spew out a very slippery, sticky syrup substance. Its a trap which if a opponent is caught will not be able to move around since their feet will be stuck on the sticky substance. If you use the technique immediately it might just spew a small amount, if you take some time though to spew the syrup it can be a large pond. Its a great combo useful technique. If used correctly you can have complete control of the battlefield and keep opponents pushed back, especially fast opponent. Beforehand though make sure you channel chakra on your feet before you spew the syrup so you can walk on it without restriction.

(Mizu Bunshin) - Water Release: Water Clone
Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
Note: Can only perform up to C rank Water techniques and requires a water source.

Okay with one hand seal the user will use a water source to create a exact clone out of themselves, made of water. They can only travel a short distance and can take damage easily until dispersed back into water. This water clone can only perform Water jutsus up to C-Rank. Clones are great for a extra man to take the advantage in number, use combos, and deceive your opponent. The clone is made short range of the user, and the clone acts on the will of the opponent.

;_; Thanks!! That means a lot! <3 Yeah, sure thing!

Perform the technique: I listen as Noni-senpai describes the first technique, the Starch Syrup Capture Field. Once he’s done, I gather my chakra, specifically channeling it toward my feet. I don’t want to get trapped in my own jutsu. I also channel my chakra to my hands and my mouth. I recreate the sticky, slimy feeling of syrup in my mind and mold my chakra into suiton chakra. I’m kind of grossed out that I’ll have to spit, but that doesn’t stop me.
I weave the handseals Ram -> Tiger much quicker this time. “Suiton: Mizuame Nababara!”
The chakra-infused water comes out of my mouth at a rapid pace, and I aim the stream down toward the ground. The sticky liquid covers only about a few metres in front of me, but it shapes into a fairly good circle. I finish with the stream and feel some of the water sticking to my lips. I wipe it away and then take a few steps forward. The chakra within my feet allows me to move easily across the field of syrup.

Creative uses/strengths:- With only two handseals, the user can perform this jutsu very quickly as has a better chance of trapping their opponent because the opponent will be less prepared.
- The range of this jutsu could be effective because it can either be a small area covered (short-ranged) or a large pond (long-ranged), giving you a better chance of trapping your opponent no matter what distance they are from you.
- This jutsu can immobilize an opponent easily and quickly because if you cover a larger area, it’s more likely that the opponent will be caught no matter where they are. Or if you cover a smaller area, it will give the opponent less time to react because you take a shorter time creating a smaller area than a larger one.

Drawbacks/counters:- If the opponent recognizes this technique and uses enough speed, they can escape the potential area of the syrup field. They would be able to counter with their own jutsu while you’re still performing this jutsu because they’ve evaded the field before you’ve even made it.
- If the user uses this jutsu to create a large pond, it will take longer for the field to be created, giving your opponent even more opportunity to evade and attack with their own jutsu.
- If the user isn’t prepared and doesn’t channel chakra to their feet, they themselves will be trapped within the field they create.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I move on to the next jutsu, the Water Clone. I’m excited to learn this jutsu because I’ve heard so much about it and, also, I don’t have the ability to make any kind of clones yet. Once Noni-senpai has finished explaining, I gather my chakra and picture myself looking into a mirror. I then imagine my reflection becoming a pool of water and leaking out of the mirror. My reflection comes back together and stands next to me, looking at me.
I weave the Tiger handseal. “Mizu Bunshin!”
Using the river not too far away from us, I summon some water and form it. Sure enough, the figure I created in my mind is right by my side. It’s the spitting image of me.

Creative uses/strengths:- Any number of water clones can greatly increase your advantage over a singular opponent because the opponent will be outnumbered.
- Water clones can be effective in combo attacks and ambushes on the opponent. Combo attacks will give the user better chances of landing an attack on the opponent, and ambushes will give the user the element of surprise and the upper hand on their opponent.
- Water clones can be used to distract the opponent while the user uses a different jutsu to attack the opponent so that the user isn’t injured in battle.

Drawbacks/counters:- Without a water source, water clones can’t be created because this jutsu requires a water source.
- This jutsu is short-ranged, so the water clones can’t be far from the user without disappearing.
- The water clones can only use C-rank jutsus and have 1/10 the strength of the user, so a very powerful ninja could easily defeat the clones.
- A ninja with dojutsu can tell water clones apart from the user because the water clones have significantly less chakra than the user. The opponent could counter this jutsu by using their dojutsu and go straight for the user instead of wasting their time with the clones.

I'm gonna give you three jutsus at a time due to your great responses.

(Suiton: Suigandan) - Water Release: Water Fang Bullet
Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Offense
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A technique that deals physical damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius, in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications.
Note: Requires a water source.

Okay with a water source the user will summon a drill from the water, the drill will act to penetrate the opponent and give a serious intense pain. Its a quick jutsu and is performed quick. Right when the user summons it they can go onto the next technique, great for combos. Its great for distractions and attacking from areas the opponent might not expect. The drilling motion does make a sound as well as it being a basic technique easy to anticipate.

Suiton: Kirigakure Shiryoku Hakudatsu) - Water Release: Hidden Mist Eye Sight Deprevation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15(-3 each turn to keep it active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light an a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu

A very effective supplementary jutsu. After you create hidden mist jutsu (D-Rank) the user will will manipulate the mist in a way where it will reflect natural light. The light will shine throughout the mist and blind anyone ahead of the user. That is why it can only extend short-mid, so it does not blind the user. The opponent will be blinded and distracted you can use the open window to send a large streaming attack through the mist to kill the opponent. It moves fast, and the light when set is released instantly. You can only use this with the hidden mist but its fast to perform.

(Suiton: Suishoha) - Water Style: Water Shock Wave
Rank: C-B-Rank
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 15-20
Damage Points: 30-40
Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.

A very flexible technique, the user will clap their hands together and create a vortex of water around themselves spiraling with great speed. The vortex is nice because it can act as a barrier and then after defending you can send the vortex towards the opponent as a exploding wave that dashes with great speed towards the opponent. After you send the wave it acts to push the opponent back, I like to send lightning towards it to increase potency of attack, it also covers a wide and long range. It can soak the opponent and change the terrain which you can use in your favor. The more chakra you add the stronger it gets as explained in the description. The wave moves fast and loud. Its easy to perform and does not need a water source nor any hand seals.

Awesome!, I think to myself. I salute to Noni-senpai. “Yes, sir!”

Perform the technique: I proceed with the first jutsu, Water Fang Bullet. I listen to senpai’s description of the jutsu, then I turn to the river nearby. I focus on my chakra flow, letting it collect in my hands. I then mold my chakra into suiton chakra. I remember what Noni-senpai said about the spinning motion of the water. I picture a water spout in my head because it’s more compact and quicker than a hurricane. I press my hands together.
“Suiton: Suigandan!”
One area of the water’s surface begins to bubble and, from underneath the surface, a ball shoots out. I form it into the slightly slimmer shape of a bullet with a point at one end. As I do, I imagine that same water spout, and the pressurized water starts to spin. I aim it at the dummy that’s been set up for me, and when it makes contact, the dummy is impaled. My eyes widen as I recall what senpai had said: this jutsu has the power to kill and maim.

Creative uses/strengths:- Without any handseals, this already speedy jutsu can be performed even faster because the user can simply summon water and perform the jutsu.
- Because of the speed of this jutsu, it can quickly be followed by or combined with another jutsu right after the user uses this jutsu.
- This jutsu could be combined with a wind technique to further increase the user’s chances of killing their opponent because when combined with wind, water’s destructive power is much greater.

Drawbacks/counters:- Without a water source, this jutsu can’t be performed because it requires a water source.
- While this jutsu has the ability to be used from anywhere within a 360-degree radius, this jutsu is still short-ranged, meaning that an opponent can either be out of range or easily move out of range. That’s when an opponent can counter, perhaps with a fire technique to evaporate the water.
- This jutsu wouldn’t be best for a surprise attack because the spinning motion of the water makes a drilling sound, and an opponent would become aware that they’re being attacked.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I move on to the next jutsu, Hidden Mist Eye Sigh Deprevation. Since the mist has dispersed since I last used the Hiding in Mist Jutsu, I decide to perform that jutsu again. I repeat what I did before, gathering my chakra and channeling it to my stomach.
“Kirigakure no Jutsu!”
Once more, I breathe in and breathe out again. The mist pours from my mouth and covers the terrain much faster than it did the first time. I can’t help but be pleased with myself.
Then, I focus on this new jutsu. I look around and see various rays of light through the mist, and I picture changing the mist to refract those rays of light. I channel chakra throughout my body and to my hands, specifically. I focus on the mist and mold suiton chakra. I extend my hands in front of me.
“Suiton: Kirigakure Shiryoku Hakudatsu!”
Before my very eyes, the mist before me morphs, catching the rays of light and manipulating them. I use my suiton chakra to bring the mist closer and form the rays of light into a bright beam. I’m hoping that Noni-senpai isn’t blinded, but considering his level as a ninja, I’m sure he wouldn’t fall for this technique.

Creative uses/strengths:- Without any handseals, this jutsu can be used very quickly because the user is just manipulating the Hiding in Mist Jutsu that’s already been performed.
- This jutsu can blind and temporarily distract an opponent, giving the user an advantage and the opportunity to attack the opponent with another technique because the opponent won’t be prepared to defend themselves.
- An opponent with dojutsu will already have difficulty finding the user because of the Hiding in Mist Jutsu, but an opponent with dojutsu will be further incapacitated because they won’t know that another jutsu, especially one that blinds them, is about to be used.

Drawbacks/counters:- This jutsu is short to mid-ranged, and it requires the Hiding in Mist Jutsu to be performed, so an opponent who isn’t within the mist won’t be affected by either jutsu.
- If the user doesn’t focus on keeping the jutsu ahead of themselves, they will be blinded by their own jutsu. An opponent can then counter with their own attack while the user can’t see.
- If the user wants to keep this jutsu active, they have to constantly keep using chakra, which would be a serious disadvantage if the user was low on chakra.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Perform the technique: I end with the final jutsu of this trio, the Water Shock Wave. I understand that the size and power of the technique depends on how much chakra is used, so I spend extra time gathering my chakra and molding it into suiton chakra. I return to the image of an ocean wave, crashing onto the shore. The wave can be powerful and devastating in its destruction. I also picture a hurricane, attributing it to the spiraling vortex I will be creating. I breathe through my nose and out again. I feel like my body is overflowing with chakra. I clap my hands together and ignore the stinging of my skin from the contact.
“Suiton: Suishoha!!”
I keep my hands together and focus on the water that’s just appeared before me. I start shaping it into a spiraling vortex, and it spins all around me. I continue to exude chakra into the vortex until I release, and the vortex turns into a large wave. The wave goes forward at a very rapid pace before dissipating on the terrain around me. I find myself panting after this technique.

Creative uses/strengths:- This jutsu provides an excellent opportunity for combining it with a lightning or wind technique because they both would increase the strength of the jutsu greatly.
- This jutsu could be either an offensive or defensive technique because the user can use the wave as a barrier to defend themselves or a means of attacking their opponent.
- This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, meaning that the user can attack an opponent no matter the distance separating them.

Drawbacks/counters:- A powerful fire technique could still evaporate the wave of water if the user doesn’t channel as much chakra into this jutsu because fire can overpower water if it’s strong enough.
- A powerful earth technique could block the wave of water if the user doesn’t channel as much chakra into this jutsu because earth can also overpower water if it’s strong enough.
- If the user performs this jutsu to cover the terrain in water, this could actually be used to the opponent’s advantage as well. The opponent can counter with a water technique of their own utilizing the water the user has spread around the terrain.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

One of the most useful. After performing the required hand seals the area will begin to rain. The rain happens seconds after you perform the hand seals, the rain will begin to fall. The rain is connected with the users chakra. This allows the user to sense every movement that goes on instantly. Its great for a defense as well as anticipation of attacks. Its one of the best jutsus for defense so I recommend to always set it in the start of the battle. Don't be fool its sensory abilities is nice but you do not sense the opponent mold chakra, it does not go that far. You can though sense projectiles coming towards you since the rain is likely to hit them. Ways to stop this jutsu, is simply blow the clouds away.

(Suiton: Suirou No Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Prison
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

A jutsu I like to use mainly with a clone in all honesty. The user will manipulate a water source or spew out some water and do the required hand seals. The water will shape into a condense sphere around the opponent. The water acts to suffocate the opponent and drown them. Its also hard to move because its pressurized water. You can even use it one yourself to block attacks. Its a great way to trap an opponent and make life difficult for him. A downside is you must always have a hand on the water sphere if not then the water is released and done. That is why its best used with a clone to keep his hands on the water. Its a handy jutsu and great to spring some traps.

(Suiton: Mizu Kawarimi) - Water Style: Water Replacement
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.

A very good jutsu. If an opponent is coming in for attacks or sending basic projectile attacks they can turn their whole body into water as well as remain human shape. The attacks will simply go through the user leaving them unharmed. Now the water will have to form back into shape which takes a couple of seconds. Its easy to and fast to transform the body into water as well as back to human. Its great to get out of tough situations and use basic deception. You can't attack in this form but the most is you can run. I recommend never to use it with lightning jutsus, as well as any elemental jutsu. Just basic tai, ken, and weapon projectiles. It counts as a sub so you can only use it once as well as no more subs so use wisely.
