One/three advantages:
  • 1. Can be used for both offense and defense.
  • 2. No water source is required.
  • 3. Makes a good blanket defense.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. It will block your vision, something your opponent will take advantage of.
  • 2. Requires seals and the use of one arm to perform an attack that isn't too powerful. Whether or not it's worth it is questionable.
  • 3. Won't do large amounts of damage to the opponent, it will be blunt force that will stun and/or concuss the opponent at best.
How you would use it in battle:

I would use this technique mainly for defensive purposes. On top of this, I would use it for a cover to use other techniques, preferably ones that go from underground.

How you would counter it:

Techniques of Earth Release would do. Using the Hiding in Mist technique would prevent the opponent from using this technique, since firing a technique like that blindly would be a waste of chakra and time, unless they know where you are.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Stringing together the Boar β†’ Dog β†’ Ram seals in succession, I then draw chakra from my circulatory system and channel it towards my right hand, which I hold up to my opponent. Opening up to reveal the palm, the chakra seeps through my hands. Then, I form a contained vortex of water in my hand. Drawing my hand back and thrusting it forward, I release the water vortex completely from my hand. As it lets go, I use shape manipulation to form the water into a large wall. The wall of water flies towards my opponent, swallowing him completely upon contact and stunning him.

Alright so perform the high amount of hand seals then once you've done that send your water chakra into a source of water to form a large dragon (B-rank). The dragon will go towards my clone doing a decent amount of damage.

  • 2. Streaming a lightning technique through this jutsu can make it more lethal.

  • 2. The opponent can take advantage of the hand-seal sequence length by throwing a combination of jutsu at you, or by using a quick jutsu or two to catch you in the middle of the seal sequence.
  • 3. Requires a water source, making this technique even more of a drag to prepare for and use.
How you would use it in battle:

To be honest, unless I had a primary water speciality or some way of ensuring the completion of the massive hand-seal sequence without interruption, I wouldn't use this technique. The seal sequence is quite long even with a secondary speciality, and on top of taking tons of seals requires a water source which would need to be quite big to use the technique. If there would be any uses for this, I'd say they would include using it to clash with other techniques or ensuring your opponent's distraction so that you have some breathing room.

How you would counter it:

The best way to counter this technique is to stop it before it is even used. That being said, you shouldn't have a hard time coming up with a decent combination of techniques to use on the opponent while they are forming the seals for this technique. Even if they have a water speciality, using a sufficiently powered Doton jutsu will do the trick.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Forming a massive string of hand-seals, I send my chakra into a nearby lake and begin to imbue the water with that chakra. After the process of fusion has completed, I then use shape manipulation to cause a large amount of water to rise from the lake. Visualising a dragon in my head, I utilise further shape manipulation to form the mass of water into a large dragon identical to the one I imagined. Issuing a mental command, the water dragon shoots forward at the clone with speed, smashing into the duplicate mercilessly.

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates an orb of water from which several sharp whips of water emerge. Those whips can then be directed towards one or multiple targets, impaling them on impact.

Okay so with this one I want you to perform the required seal and from that release your water chakra out in front of you in the form of an orb. This orb of water will release many whips of water from itself which can be used to attack and even have enough power to rip though said target.

  • 1. A technique that clouds the enemy's sight greatly hinders the utility of the technique.
  • 2. A Doton technique at least as strong as Earth Shore Return can effectively defend against it.
  • 3. Using the whips as a medium to channel Lightning techniques to attack the enemy is possible, but considering how lethal the tendrils can be, it is a risky strategy.
How you would use it in battle:

Personally, I would use the technique to deal with multiple targets, be they attacks or clones. Another way of using the technique would be require the user to successfully hit the opponent with the technique, and then channeling a Lightning technique through the whip in order to deal more damage.

How you would counter it:

My first counter I'd use would be to hinder the opponent's ability to track me. If they aren't able to see me, they cannot effectively use the technique to attack me. At which point, I'd take advantage of their vulnerability and attack from different angles, so that they cannot easily defend.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

Forming the Tiger seal, I draw a moderate amount of chakra from my circulatory system and begin using nature manipulation on the chakra, imbuing it with the characteristics of liquid and fluidity, akin to water. I manifest the chakra as a mass of water in front of me, where I use shape manipulation to form the water into an orb. Then, using further shape manipulation, I create multiple whips of water that I can then use to attack single or multiple targets in quick succession.

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a fast jet of water running through the ground that is powerful enough to slice through solid rock.

After the formation of one handseal, you'll create a mass of water that travels through the ground. It carries a large amount of momentum, so its speeds reach high enough to slice clean through rock. You can imagine what that'd do to a person lol. It's usage is a limited on its own due to the fact that it travels linearly, and its rank makes it easy to defend, so you'll have to pair it with another technique to maximize its effectiveness. Any ideas on what jutsu or kind of jutsu you can use to do this?

An Earth jutsu, I'm guessing? One that shifts the earth itself so that the opponent is drawn closer to the technique, or the technique closer to the opponent. World Shaking could topple the opponent, hindering their ability to defend themselves?

Yeah, that's a good one. Using it to throw them off balance so they have a harder time dodging the Slicer. Another example would be using a paralysis Genjutsu to render them immobile as well. Bear in mind that the technique can be countered by full-body bursts or techniques that don't rely on bodily movements in these situations.

Description: After performing the required handseals: Monkey β†’ Rat β†’ Tiger β†’ Dragon β†’ Horse β†’ Dragon, it then allows the user to generate a spinning column of water which will take the form of a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.

The next technique is also pretty simple. After weaving a set of seals, you create a spiralling mass of water that will take a shape that looks like a serpent. You can alter the direction of the serpent to follow the opponent, but bear in mind that this is a streaming technique, meaning that you'd have to maintain control of it to do this. Once it hits and turns into a river, you'll be good.
