As you cut through the lid with your jet of water, I take quick action, and perform a single handseal, channeling my Suiton chakra into your water wave, overpowering your chakra within it and using shape manipulation to form a large tornado of water that engulfs you and would knock you out, should you not defend. Your balance would be hampered too, as the wave you're standing on would become a spinning vortex of water, which would cause you to fall downwards.

Knowing what would happen if he didn't respond right away, he'd channel his Suiton chakra within his body and then under his feet where the water wave is at. Using that he would create a water pillar that would lift him high above the forming vortex and out of immediate danger.

Being mid range from Naruto, in the cover of the mist, he would begin to perform this sequence of hand seals, Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake. Once completed, he'd sent his Suiton chakra into the atmosphere where storm clouds would begin to accumulate. As the clouds would form, it would suddenly begin to rain around the entire premise. With Neji's chakra infused in the rain this would allow him to sense anything that has chakra.

Yeah I know what rank interactions are. It's when one of your moves makes an interaction with something it loses/gains depending on what it clashes with. An example for this would be if someone fired a S ranked Fire but the opponent fired off an A ranked Fire. The collision favors the S rank since it's the stronger of the two and continue forward, however it would continue as a A rank since the A ranked fire used to counter that S rank is half the power of the S. Essentially A+A=S

With the mist around Neji, he would be preparing himself to perform his next technique as he's free falling from the sky back down, however he'd see that the mist was instantly blown away and that something was approaching. A Fuuton jutsu was on its way and quickly, reacting as such, Neji would accumulate his Suiton chakra within his body converting it into water. Opening up his mouth, he'd exhale a large quantity of dense water as a torrent that would make a barricade for the incoming attack.

Alright, that's enough. Your moves were alright, and your last move was the weakest. You went on the defensive, instead of going on the offensive, and shifting back the pressure on me. I thought of using a Genjutsu after my wind blast, but I didn't, cuz if I misused it, my sensei would disown me T_T

I liked your move, where you cut the lid with water severing wave. I gave you an opening to put pressure on me. You should've used something good after the mist jutsu, something like water prison or something of those sorts to trap me, and prevent me from blowing away the mist. You should've used water bullet technique, because it's a powerful stream tech, and you could use the same jutsu to push the lid towards me, instead of cutting away the lid. Pushing the lid towards me would force me to counter it. Once I would be busy countering it, you could've used a jutsu to trap me, so that my chances of countering the lid would be less.

Anyway, even though you're new, you know the concept of using your own water as a source for other techniques. You could also use your opponent's water as a source for your techniques, but only when the opponent's water technique is short range of you and also the rank comes in play;

Suppose I use a A-Rank water technique at you, which is a stream of water..you cannot use a B-Rank water technique to overpower my chakra within the stream, since my chakra is one rank higher. You can only use an S-Rank water technique to overpower my chakra, but it should also be within logic.
