Try again. Don't copy. :/±± Chakra ±±
Chakra is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being (every living being with a conscious mind has chakra). Physical energy corresponds to the vitality of the body and its own energy. Spiritual energy corresponds to the mind or spirit, and comes from the awareness and "soul" of each sentient being.
Some ninjas have high levels of chakra because they have great physical energy (like the Akimichi or even Tsunade) and others because of their spiritual energy (like the Uchiha and the Yamanaka). However, its much more difficult to increase the spiritual energy than the physical one, thus why all ninjas pass through intensive physical workout.
Yin and Yang are based on this same concept. Yin is the basis of the spirit while Yang the basis of the body. In this i won't go into more dept because there are 2 things to consider: Yin/Yang manipulation in our RP is different from the manga one and both are more or less inacessible.
Chakra flows in a circulatory system inside your body, in a way that much resembles the blood circulation. This circulatory system has 8 small reservoirs that act as both storage but also chakra regulation. These are the eight inner gates. Along your circulatory system, small "portals" exist that enable you to expell chakra from your body. These are called Tenketsu and there are 361 of them scattered allong the body. When a tenketsu opens, chakra poors out of it. Its by molding the chakra that comes out of the tenketsu that you produce ninjutsu and genjutsu.
Sorry senpai, I actually didn't get it off him. I found it online while reading but didn't realize someone had that exact same thing. I essentially added things to what was already said but here, I'll try again. You copied it from Scorps's defintions:
Try again. Don't copy. :/
Define how much ever you know. No need to copy-paste points from others. This training is to find out how much you know, and my job is to give you knowledge.
Other than that, well said about Water, Ninjutsu and handseals. I'll add more to w/e you said, once you redefine what is "chakra", for me.
We'll start with the methods now. Read this and imbue it in your head. Any queries on working of chakra, handseals or ninjutsu?Chakra
"Chakra" is basically life essence or life force which exists in human bodies and animals. Without it, a shinobi can die. It can be considered "blood" and soul for a ninja. It is the molding of physical energies and spiritual energies in the body. Physical energy is the energy given off by the body cells and can be increased with more stamina and practise. Spiritual energy is derived from the consciousness of the mind and can be increased through great concentration and meditation. It is the basis for all almost all the ninja skills like Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, except Taijutsu in some special cases. It flows through the chakra circulatory system, and in it, there are 361 points aka nodes in the body known as tenkutsu. The function of the tenketsu is to regulate and control the flow of chakra. If these weren't present, then chakra would flow through some specific organ, thus there wouldn't be a balance in the chakra flow. Every ninja in the narutoverse possesses a chakra pool. Shinobis with a very high chakra pool like Naruto can perform a lot of higher ranked techniques like Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, etc. without having the fear of getting their chakra depleted at once. Senju Clan members for eg, have very high chakra reserves and a high physical energy aka high "Yang" energy, thus their naturally strong bodies and on the other hand, the Uchiha clan members have a very high spiritual energy, i.e. high "Yin" energy, thus their proficiency in genjutsu and visual prowess. It is possible to have high chakra if you possess very strong willpower. If chakra runs out completely in a shinobi, then he dies as shown when Kakashi died due to his chakra completely running out against Deva Pein. It can be divided into several types like:
Elemental Chakra
Senjutsu chakra
Bijuu Chakra
Ninjutsu
Ninjutsu means "Ninja Arts" and is something that allows the shinobi to do something that a normal human can't do, like walking on water, manipulating elements, the usage of special as well as bladed weapons, stealth, transformation, etc. The effects of ninjutsu are real. Most of the time, it heavily relies on the usage of handseals as well as chakra. Regular ninjutsu doesn't incorporate the usage of elements for it, like stealth, a basic Rasengan, etc. Elemental Ninjutsu is an advanced form of ninjutsu, which incorporates the usage of basic 5 elements, as well as advanced combinations to create stronger jutsus which have the respective properties of the 5 elements. Elemental ninjutsu is stronger to regular ninjutsu, since regular ninjutsu only uses raw chakra, whereas, elemental ninjutsu uses both Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. The perfect Rp example would be that, a Wind natured or a Lightning natured Rasengan would have a greater destructive force than a standard Rasengan, obviously because the elemental Rasengan contains violently rotating chakra as well as the violently rotating chakra is given the property of the respective elements.
Handseals
Handseals are hand gestures, which primarily manipulate chakra and dictate the exact amount of chakra needed for the respective specific technique. Weaving of handseals makes chakra take different "patterns". Some techniques require a large number of handseals, which is related to the complexity of performing that technique and if not weaved properly, in order, or if the user loses focus in between, then the technique is either executed in a weaker state, or it is dispersed midway, depending on the specific technique. A good example is Water Dragon Bullet Technique. It was shown that the technique required a string of 44 handseals to perform, however the Second Hokage, Tobirama could perform it with a single handseal, due to his unparalled Water mastery. It is shown in the manga that with time, a shinobi after mastering the specific technique, requires one-literally no handseals to perform it, an example being Chidori, which required some handseals when Sasuke just learnt it. In our RP, the user can perform any 2 elemental releases of his choice, depending on the elements he has placed as specialties, with one-virtually no handseals/faster handseals. Usually, handseals are performed with both the hands, but Haku, Minato, etc have demonstrated the ability to perform it with only a single hand. The 12 basic handseals are Monkey, Ram, Dog, Horse, Dragon, Boar, Rat, Snake, Ox, Hare, Bird, Tiger.
Water
Water is a more or less passive element by nature. It flows freely and takes the shape of whatever it is contained in. I call it passive as it is a yielding element which goes and flows however the external forces and nature dictate it to. For example; still water will move and ripple at the slightest touch, a river flowing straight will move around a rock and take an alternate direction instead of just going through the rock. Wind can cause water to move in different directions. This is one of the reasons why water, a yielding element, is opposite to earth, an unyielding element. That rock in the bank of the river will not move for the water, it will stay firm. If the rock were to walk through the river straight, the water would go around the rock, not the other way around. This is a rudimentary understanding, however water itself can be very powerful and forceful. A large enough mass of water may disroot the rock if strong enough. Water may be condensed to a fine area and move at great speeds to cause a powerful impact. That is where variables come in, which is what any element manipulates, the variables of the properties that can enhance an element's potential. If you want to look at things in terms of balance, Taoism and philosophies behind water and it's general movement. Water is the Yin half, not forceful, yielding and water redirects energy instead of meeting it head on. The Chinese Internal styles of martial arts talk about redirecting your opponents force back onto them which is essentially a property of water (the redirection that is). Force is not met with force rather the force is allowed to continue until redirected suddenly, often times against even harder forces that are much stronger. An example would be if somebody were to punch you. They are traveling in one direction at a certain speed. You simply move out of the way while guiding the fist further in that direction, increasing the speed. Should there be a wall behind them, they make impact with that wall and most often hurt their hand. Water can be anything from a calm and small lake to a gigantic tsunami, which causes widespread destruction. Water can be spewn from the body as a stream, fired as projectiles, or be released from the body's pores itself, as well as, you can materialize water out of thin air. Certain techniques require a source of water to insert your chakra and manipulate it to your will. Water is nearly endless and a provider of life and ultimately, divine.
It has from a different forum with a sub category for Naruto, it was on an anime site.Which site did you get it from? And nice. Here's my definition:
We'll start with the methods now. Read this and imbue it in your head. Any queries on working of chakra, handseals or ninjutsu?
Lmao, I seriously doubletaked that sentence and I thought, "which one is he asking me to say????" XD I just ended up with the method itself because it said "this method" and not projectiles.Depends really.
Lol. I asked for the advantages of method 1, i.e. the advantages and disadvantages of projectiles, not the overall method system. xD But, nicely said about the advantages of the overall method system.
Other than that, your definition is vague, but atleast, it's an honest one.
Projectiles: Projectiles are objects which are propelled into the air. For eg: shurikens, kunais, etc. These are thrown towards the opponent. Now, projectiles move in a certain fixed direction, unless their direction is externally changed by blowing wind, water, etc. Coming to the element, an example would be; water projectiles. These are water jutsus which are "flung" at the opponent. For eg: Bullets of water. Several wind bullets are released from the hand or from the body. Once these projectiles are released, one can't alter their trajectory and it is out of your control now. With projectiles the user gathers all their chakra into one central focus point and releases the chakra all in one burst or divided in several bursts of compact water chakra with its own set of energy, meaning the chakra is concentrated at one single point and thus the area of damage is short compared to streams, however due to the concentration being large, one single point when hit by a projectile faces massive damage.
Based on my definition about projectiles, I think you can make out the advantages and disadvantages..
Let me expand on your advantages/disadv:Projectiles
The basic projectile techniques involve creating projectiles like shuriken or kunai. Shuriken and Kunai are examples of projectiles and are not limited to that scope. When you hear and think of projectiles, you think of objects that you launch or project towards your opponent. They're something that leaves your possession and travels towards your opponent. There is nothing different when it comes to suiton projectiles. All you're doing is launching water at your opponent as you would any other projectile. Now, with water and any other element that uses projectiles you tend to use a lot of shape manipulation. Reason is, is because you need to make the projectiles strong enough damage your opponent (pierce them, knock them back with blunt force, etc). Water or any other element at its base is just raw unformed element. By using shape manipulation you form the shape of the projectile you want. As well, you also compress the element to a degree which allows for a certain density which is always good. With these water projectiles, you will be exhaling them from the mouth. You will first inhale and focus the chakra from your core and channel it up into your lungs and mouth. You will then exhale; the chakra you gathered in your lungs helps propel the water, and the mouth is the point of release. You use shape manipulation to then form the water into whatever shape you need it to be, whether it be a ball or something more advanced like a shark. The water is also compressed in a tight container (the boundaries you create by shaping it) therefore when it makes impact with the target they'll generally receive a blunt impact that knocks them back, has the capability to knock the wind out of them, bruise them, maybe break bones or damage the organs and cause shock. Also, if fast enough and small enough, the density from the tightly compressed nature and the speed may be able to pierce like a bullet. Using other mediums of release for projectiles, you would simply channel your chakra into a different location and then follow the rest of the procedures of releasing the water, and shaping it for the desired effect.
Nah, not really. People do use projectiles a lot actually. But with combos. They're basically used to engage the opponent, and then follow up with a combo, so that he has to react to both the combo and the projectile techniques. But, this logic is valid in short range, since they're harder to dodge at a shorter distance. At a longer distance, people do use projectiles, but come up with surprise attacks. For example,Nope, everything is crystal clear
Reading the disadvantages, I assume a lot of people don't tend to use projectiles in actual RP, yeah or is it mainly used as a distraction of some sort?
Alright that makes sense. I'm actually pending on an application thread for Nin training LolNah, not really. For example,
One person A throws a kunai at the other person, B, in a linear fashion. Now, it would be more useful if he threw it in a diagonal arc, so that the kunai comes down with force, and is harder to counter. There's a canon jutsu in the Ninjutsu List, which is A Ranked. It helps you multiply basic weapons, explosive tags and kunais into a thousand, in an instant. This is the best jutsu to take the opponent by surprise and barrage him. Of course, it requires Ninjutsu training, and you'll know about it, when you'll be trained in Ninjutsu by some sensei.![]()
