"Let's get started shall we..."

Yashiro reaches to his back pocket and takes out an old notebook of his, one which fits firmly into his back pocket along with a pen attached to the top of the notebook...

Yashiro then removes the pen from the notebook and scribbles a few notes into it rather quickly before handing it to his student...

Notebook

- What is Water? And explain the Water Release element.
- What is Water Release strong against?
- What is Water Release weak against?
- Name 5 characters from the Anime/Manga that uses the Water Release element.
- Which Kekkei Genkai's are produced by having an affinity to the Water Release element?

"Please answer all of these questions for me, before we move on and remember if you have any questions or do not understand anything feel free to ask me anything, I'd do my best to provide an appropriate answer."

Note: Please do not use narutowiki to provide a massive description on the Element, I want you to use your own knowledge and answer the questions for yourself even if the answer is short, just be sure to mention all the key parts, that way you would have a better understanding and everything we learn will be admitted to memory and/or come from our own memory.

Agent J sees Yashiro pull out a small notebook & observes him writing in. "Is that a death note ?!?!"He notices him sticking out his arm, with the intention of giving it to him. He looks down and realizes it was just questions based on my knowledge of water. "Oh.. Lol" He takes out his blue pen from his pack and walks over to a tree to write under the shade.

Notebook
- What is Water? And explain the Water Release element.
Water is a basic compound made of Hydrogen and Oxygen [H[SUB]2[/SUB]O]. More specifically, Suiton is one of the five basic chakra natures. Suiton based techniques are created by manipulating a water source nearby. Suiton can be used in various ways, such as creating walls/shields, pillars, animal type manipulation [e.g. Dragons], bullets, etc..

- What is Water Release strong against?
Suiton is strongest against fire, or Katon. This is because [like in the real world] water smothers the flame or in other words prevents the fire from taking in oxygen, which they need to burn.

- What is Water Release weak against?
Suiton is weak to Doton because it's structure is able to resist or withstand the fluid nature of water. However, this is not always the case as certain water techniques that are meant for hardening/slicing are capable of cutting away doton techniques.

- Name 5 characters from the Anime/Manga that uses the Water Release element.
Tobirama Senju, Kisame Hoshigaki, Zabuza, Kakashi & Trollkage 2nd Mizukage.

- Which Kekkei Genkai's are produced by having an affinity to the Water Release element?
Mokuton [wood] release is created by "fusing" together Suiton & Doton. Hyouton [ice] release is formed through the simultaneous usage of Suiton & Futon. Ranton [storm] release is generated by using Raiton & Suiton. Futton [boil] release is made by combining Suiton & Katon together.

*5 minutes later*

After he is finished writing, J gets up and walks over to Yashiro-Senpai and hands out the notebook to give it to him. "I'm finished Senpai! However, I have one question: How do ninja perfrom Suiton based jutsu without a water source?"

"There are certain techniques that can be used without a water source, and create pretty much a lot of water, so once you use one of those techniques you could make use of that water as a water source for a much larger and stronger attack, I will go more into detail as training progresses and point out which techniques can be used without a water source and which can be used to create a water source etc."

Yashiro takes his training scroll and hands it to J...

"Read through this please..."

The Scroll of Training
Selendrile's Training Method

So every Sensei has a teaching method they prefer, My Sensei has created his very own original one that is listed below with the criteria you should complete for every technique..

1. Explain yourself performing the technique in a well detailed description. Necessary hand seals, nature and shape manipulation should be included as well.
2. List advantages and disadvantages of the technique.
3. I will post a counter to each technique you learn. Depending on what I post, tell me if it is a good or bad counter, and the reasons why. Don't focus on ranking as much for this, just focus on the properties and characteristics of each technique.
4. Rate the technique's speed of use, and why you rated it so:
1. Fast
2. Medium
3. Slow

"Any questions?

"Very well then, let's begin."

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water,small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

"This technique is rather simple but very versatile, start gathering your chakra and mold it to water chakra, you then release the water chakra and form it into either a small wave, a small blast or a small shield of water, this technique doesn't require a water source but you could use this technique to manipulate existing water on the battlefield, for example if your opponent is standing on a water source, you could use this technique to create a ring of water perhaps to surround your opponents feet, restricting his movements for you for a short while to deliver a fatal attack, give the technique a shot, create a blast of water and aim it at my clone."

PHP:
[BORDER='Insert Jutsu'][B]Performing the Technique:[/B]

[B]Advantages/Disadvantages:[/B]

[B]Technique Speed:[/B][/BORDER]

Water technique
Performing the Technique: After being given instructions from Yashiro, J goes silent and focuses on his chakra. Through concentration, he starts to mold his chakra into water itself. Within moments, he releases the water he formed and transforms it into a miniature torpedo in which he hits Yashiro's clone with.

Advantages/Disadvantages: An advantage of this tech is that you can create almost anything you want with it, whether it be for protection or to be on the offensive. Another advantage is that although you don't need a water source to perform it, you can manipulate a nearby water source nearby. Lastly, an advantage is that this tech doesn't spend any chakra points, there are no hand seals to memorize & it can extend up to mid range. A disadvantage of this jutsu is that it has low damage points, and can be countered by a doton wall or a fire jutsu of higher rank [which will simply create steam].

Technique Speed: If I were to use this and not use a nearby water source, I would rate this as a fast because there are no hand seals to perform. If I were to use a water source, It would be a medium because I would have to concentrate my chakra into the nearby, which will take longer to attack my enemy.

"Good!, though when manipulating a water source, it would actually be performed quicker than without one, so your speed rating should be visa versa."

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu[/B
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dลjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

"Ok now, for this technique I want you to once again gather your water chakra and release it in the form of a thick mist through your mouth, you could also manipulate an existing water source to create the fog/mist for the technique, with this jutsu you could completely conceal your presence from many ninja including sharingan users, though Byakugan users would be the only ones able to still see you through the thick mist, but as for sharingan users, they wouldn't be able to see you because they are only able to see chakra and seeing as the mist is created from your own chakra, the sharingan user would just see your chakra all over the place and unable to pinpoint your location, go ahead and give it a try."

Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Performing the Technique: While standing on a lake as his water source, J raises his right arm and makes a begins to concentrate. He begins to gather his water chakra and steaditly releases it in the form of a thick mist. Now with the mist created, he can perform another jutsu without giving away his position beforehand.

Advantages/Disadvantages: This jutsu can fool users with Sharingan & Rinnegan, it doesn't require a water source & it has low chakra cost. Also, an advantage is that the user can completely conceal their movements within the mist. A disadvantage is that users with Byakugan can see right through this technique.

Technique Speed: If I were to use this and not use a nearby water source, I would rate this as a medium because it would take more effort to create a water jutsu without a source. If I were to use a water source, It would be a fast because there are no hand seals to perform.

Good, provide me with a suitable technique to use that wouldn't give off your position when the mist is formed.

And next is...

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

"Start gathering your water chakra once again and then channel it through your dominant arm into your hand, then with the use of shape manipulation, start streaming your water chakra out of your hand and form it into a sharp sword of water, this sword would work as a normal sword for kenjutsu techniques, give it a try and perform a few slashes on my clone."

Will this be suitable if I were to use my Neji bio? I wouldn't necessarily give away my position since I'm using the water around my opponent & not using it directly.
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: By using their gentle fist chakra control, a hyuga member may condense nearby water and shape them into needles to launch at the target.
Note: Requires a nearby water source.

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Performing the Technique: Without the need of a water source, J begins to build up his chakra & incredibly focuses into manipulating it. With sheer effort, he starts to mold his chakra into water itself. He then channels it through his right arm into his palm. Within seconds, he releases the water he created into his hand & transforms it into a sword with a razor-sharp edge.

Advantages/Disadvantages: An advantage is that I don't need a water source and I can create a water-based sword that I can treat as a real one. A disadvantage is that if you were to use this [for example] to block a certain raiton technique, the electricity can transfer onto the water and into your body causing temporary debilitation or paralysis.

Technique Speed: I would rate this as fast/medium because even though I wouldn't need a water source and would put more effort into it, it would instantly form in my palm after molding it.

Seems good enough, though at your advantages and disadvantages, the part where you say when a lightning technique comes into contact with the sword it will electrocute/paralyze you, while that is correct for naturally water conducts electricity, but you still have to remember the basic 5 strengths and weaknesses, water and lightning are neutral to each other so if your opponent were to use a technique of the same rank to electrify the sword and shock you, it wouldn't work, both techniques would just cancel each other out, understand?

Next...

( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.

"Alright, now for this technique I want you to gather your water chakra while holding your dominant arm infront of you and proceed to channel the water chakra our of your arm, as the water chakra is being streamed outwards you add nature manipulation and form it into dense water, finally with the use of shape manipulation you shape it into a shield of dense water, able to block several projectile attacks as well as close combat attacks, now guard yourself!"

( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Performing the Technique: J notices his opponent running towards him to land a kick at his abdomen. In a quick response, he swiftly sticks his right arm upwards and begins to channel chakra into it. He then molds his chakra and converts it to water. Seconds before they land the kick, J releases the water chakra outwards you add nature manipulation and form it into dense water, finally with the use of shape manipulation you shape it into a shield of dense water.

Advantages/Disadvantages: An advantage of this jutsu is that it can block any close combat move & ninja tools. Another advantage is that I can use this jutsu and the water sword technique so I can have something to attack and defend with with. Also, this jutsu requires no hand seals nor a water source. A disadvantage is that you only have one hand available to use and it will be impossible to use jutsu that requires hand seals [unless you're Haku :rolleyes:].

Technique Speed:I would rate this a medium speed due to the fact that it takes time to mold the water from no source and spend more time using shape manipulation to form a shield.

Yay, Lol

Water Release: Water Shark Breakthrough
Performing the Technique: In quick decisiveness, J rushes towards the nearby river. Once he is standing on top, he begins to gather & mold his chakra. He then focuses to channel into the water and manipulates it to form a shark. Once created, he then utilizes the power of this water shark by commanding it to jump into the air, bolt towards the clone and striking him to dispersing it.

Advantages/Disadvantages: An advantage is that I don't waste time and effort creating water without a source. Also, this jutsu doesn't require hand seals. A disadvantage is that not only do I need a water source, I have to be within short range of my opponent to strike them with it.

Technique Speed:I would rate this as fast/medium due to not only forming preexisting water, but also using up time to send my shark over to my opponent, in that time they can easily dodge.

(Fลซton: Shippuu Tama) - Wind Release: Twister Shot
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user releases a stream of wind infused chakra from their mouth that takes on the shape of a twister to attack the enemy.

Is this technique a good or bad counter for the water shark? And why?

I would have to say it is a good one because like a rl tornado, it would attract nearby objects, so by using this, it the shark would get caught/trapped in the futon tornado. Idk for sure though Lol

That is a good counter, the wind is much stronger than the density of that water technique since the Wind is a B Rank and the Water technique is a C Rank, and the two are more or less around the same size so...

Next up....

I see that you have a Hyuuga bio, this technique is for Hyuuga's only, so perform it...

(Suiton: Mizu Hari) - Water Release: Water Needles Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: By using their gentle fist chakra control, a hyuga member may condense nearby water and shape them into needles to launch at the target.
Note: Requires a nearby water source.

"Release your chakra into the nearby lake and condense a small amount of water for your usage, then shape the condensed water into needles and attack your target, try it on the infamous clone."

~~~
(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat โ†’ Dog โ†’ Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.
"Gather your chakra and mold It to water chakra while also performing the required hand seals, then channel the water chakra to your dominant hand and release it before shaping it into a whip of water, you could use the whip to strike your target in a slashing motion, or wrap the whip around your target, binding him, you could also channel lightning into the rope to give it an electrifying effect, give it a try on my clone."
Why yes, yes I do Lol
(Suiton: Mizu Hari) - Water Release: Water Needles Technique
Performing the Technique: While remaining hidden within the hidden mist technique, Neji gathers his Gentle Fist chakra and releases it into the nearby lake. He then condenses a small amount of water for use, and uses shape manipulation to transform the water into needles; In which he strikes his opponent with great accuracy.
Advantages/Disadvantages: An advantage is that only a Hyuga can use it and it doesn't require hand seals. A disadvantage is that it requires a water source.
Technique Speed: I would rate this as medium if not fast due to the fact that I have to gather chakra, release it, condense a nearby source, use shape transformation AND THEN attack my enemy.
(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Performing the Technique: After hearing Yashiro-Senpai's instructions, J begins to gather his chakra. He then begins to mold it to water chakra while weaving the hand signs: Rat โ†’ Dog โ†’ Ox. After doing so, he channels the water chakra to his right hand and releases it before using shape manipulation to transform it into a whip of water. He then controls the whip to use it as a rope and grabs hold of the clone's left leg and does the following:
Pretend this is water Lol
You must be registered for see images
Advantages/Disadvantages: An advantage is that I can use the whip in many ways. Also, it doesn't require a water source. A disadvantage is that it can be blocked using a doton/futon pillar/wall tech.
Technique Speed: I would rate this as medium due to not having water sources & due to the amount of hand seals it uses. If I have a water source, it would rate it as fast.
