Zabuza has only shown two things, water jutsu usage and sword skills. Suigetsu has shown that he can turn into water and make melee combat not work on him due to this technique.. So isn't it obvious zabuza would lose, he can't win against someone who is pretty much water.

Zabuza is one of the legendary swordsmen and suigetsu wasn't. That has to account for something. Zabuza was a victim of being introduce into the series too soon which made him appear weak. The same thing happened to the 1st and 2nd hokage. They were some of the most legendary ninja ever but they seem rather weak in comparison to more recent battles (madara vs the kages, kisame vs guy, etc.)

zabuza is a much more stronger than suigetsu fact but because suigetsu is made practically out of water it'll be hard to beat him close call.

Zabuza is stronger physically obviously as he could hold the sword one-handed,if in part one it would be suigetsu obviously.

Its a tuffy, zabuza is one of the swordsmen and he basicly beat kakashi.. im sure he has more up those cowhide sleeves then metal water and mist ;D

zabuzas techniques are prety much useless against suigetsu because his sword would go through suigetsu and shooting sugitsu with water jutsu would be useless too so he has just the mist from what he showed
