I would say sugestsu head on would win but shika would probley win because of suigestsu's carelessness.Sugestisu could probley escape the shadows if he keeps liquifying though and if he still has the beheader theres a chance he could win.I would say that this is a close battle

It's not all about skills and Techs. , The brain is the strongest weapon, Suigetsu either forgets to use it or doesn't actually have one. On the other hand Shikamaru beat an Immortal (Hidan) , and I see Hidan as same as Suigetsu when it comes to using their brains. lol.

Anyway, IMO Shika Mid-High Difficulty.

i REPEAT....Shika has nothing that will even scratch suigetsu...he can have all the brains he wants, he is isnt beating suigetsu...

and had he not have time to prepare, i hope you realize hidan would have slaughtered him..

Physical attacks do not work on Suigetsu, and shadow neck bind etc are exactly that... suigetsu just has to turn his body into a puddle of water.....


Other key point, suigetsu was trained to be the next gen swordsmen, and like all the 7 swordsmen most likely knew Hidden mist jutsu......which would then again screw shika over

apart from lighting Suigetsu when he got hit by TBB showed that extreme firepower will beat him, Shikamaru can put every explosive note he has on Suigetsu and blow him upit should work since TBB beat demon fish form which is 1000 times bigger than Suigetsu so 20 explosive note explosion which is 1000th the size of a TBB should beat Suigetsu who is 1000th his demon fish form in size. Suigetsu doesnt know hidden mist, even Kisame doesnt know hidden mist.

I think once captured with the shadow imitation he cannot liquidify. because

I believe in here tobi was unable to go intengible so that's why he used gedo mezo as a means to escape,
if my theory on tobi is correct same would apply to suigetsu.

once captured with shadow imitation you no longer have any control on your body. so suigetsu shouldn't be able to liquidify since he cannot control any part of his body

dude tbb is condensed,concentrated and explosive chakra... a paper bomb..is a paper bomb.. it will never compare to it , 1000 paper bombs won't make the kind of explosion a tbb makes.....

but to the guy from before, indeed that could be work , it depends on how his hydrification works, is his body naturally always in a liquid state when hit? or does he need to activate the jutsu?

and you also need to remember. one shika puts him in shadow bind, then goes in his pocket to throw kunai, suigetsu will go in his pocket to throw kunai also....just like what happened in the chuunin exams against w.e her name is

yeah it depends on the tecnhique's nature. however shikamaru doesn't always need to throw a kunai. when he captured temari in the chuunin exams he said I thought about two hundred possible ways to defeat you but the times up. he can always come up with something new. plus there are other shadow techniques too, the one that can choke you to death with the shadows is one example
