Needles are drenched in poison. Once it passes Suigetsu's body he's guaranteed to have traces of poison in the water. The water does not 'go away and then Suigetsu creates a new body', it returns to his body's form. That poison is still inside his body and thus he dies.

This is what I originally thought.

Or that he flushes out the poison by manipulating the water, just like Sakura did.

I thought about this, but he'd have to have full knowledge, or at least know the weapons are poisoned.

Since when does he sense what's inside his body? Pretty sure he has no nerves there and feels nothing in his water body.

Yeah I'm confused about this part.

He has complete control over his liquid body, so I don't know why you guys think he wouldn't feel a foreign substance entering it.

Isn't his only control over the body to turn it into a liquid and reform?

Being able to control it and being able to differentiate between liquids are two completely different things.

Lol How exactly does Suigestu win anyway?

He has no idea of the heart, he needs to actually get thorough Hiruko which was only destroyed by something of this while Sasori can continuously strike with his tail anytime Suigestu gets close. Sasori's efficiency with the tail [ ]-[ ].

Suigestu cant stay in the water form forever while Sasori can actually sit there all day.

Eventually Sasori ends it.

Poison is ineffective against Suigestu's water body but that doesnt matter.

What?

I dont think it changes much. Suigestu is not getting close to Hiruko. He can easily knock the sword out of Suigestu's hand especially if he is in water form. Water gun in deflected by tail too.

This was the power behind Sakura's punch.

You can't prove that. They're two different punches with two different intended targets. Unless you're trying to say (or have proof) that Sakura only has one punch and cannot control the power of it?

Why wouldnt she go all out on hitting Sasori? If anything thats the least amount of power she could have used against Sasori.

It was never once stated that she even used her full power on that boulder let alone Sasori. You're literally making all of this information up.
If sakura used nearly that much power on the puppet, there would have been some type of crater because she punched downwards. Or at least his parts would've flown much further. You have no evidence for this.

She only hit the puppet and broke it. She never touches the ground hence no crater.

Strongest punch she had used to that point was breaking the boulder, either she used that same power or used more force but it was at least the power she used against the boulder. No reason she would use a weaker punch when trying to defeat an opponent.

You literally have no proof here. It's entirely your speculation.

Maybe someone else will want to talk to you about this, but this is where I'm gonna stop.

I dont need proof, its more like common sense. Why would Sakura not go all out on that punch, why would she make it weaker than destroying the boulder? Thats power behind her punches, thats what you can compare things to.

You underestimate Hiruko's defense, its a defensive puppet, you think anything can break because Sakura did but Sakura has crazy power behind her attacks.
