Basically just curious if people think poison would effect Suigetsu's water body.

At first I wondered but the answer is no. Suigetsu has no veins to carry the poison, and if he even did, Hiruko would have to draw blood.

I was questioning if he was in his water body and there was poison in the water, as he comes back to his non-hydro form, would it poison him?

I also choose to believe he can be poisoned since he has to breathe outside of a water source

Did you not read OP? Hiruko has no fire.
If poison doesnt work, Suigetsu wins.

No because to poison him, it would have to affect an organ, which he wouldn't have in water form. It would have to be immediately carried to start, and it wouldn't work that way.

Any poison gets flushed out. Poison cloud is useless when Suigetsu doesn't need to breath. It ends with suigetsu bisecting hiruko

Needles are drenched in poison. Once it passes Suigetsu's body he's guaranteed to have traces of poison in the water. The water does not 'go away and then Suigetsu creates a new body', it returns to his body's form. That poison is still inside his body and thus he dies.

Or that he flushes out the poison by manipulating the water, just like Sakura did.

Suigetsu wins. He can pass through projectiles with his water form and release the poison by manipulating his water form.
