Suigetsu to lead the next evil alliance?

So I was reading the Naruto manga and came across a page in which suigetsu reveals that it is his dream to revive the seven swordsman of the mist and become on of the most powerful groups/teams alive just like they used to be.

The character developement for me so far has sort of shown all these new young ninjas replacing the old ones, though they have some differences, they also have many similarities.

for example
sasuke is replacing orochimaru
naruto is replacing jiraya
sakura is replacing tsunade

you can see the character developement, and while the main 3 characters that this whole series has been based around have started to show that they will have fairly similar futures to their teachers, im more curious about the future of the supporting characters like Jugo, suigetsu, shikamaru, gaara etc....

not only that, but im interested to see how the series makes a transition of time periods if it chooses to take that route.

will we she a third naruto series in which the young kids we first started watching are now the new leaders of the ninja world and we watch as a new set of young characters are introduced to the world?


At this point I can't really think of who suigetsu might be able to recruit for the seven swordsman team/group as I can only think of the one young kid that protects the kage of the mist. (mizukage i think??)

any ideas?

they wouldnt take time to develop his character if he didnt

1. serve as a stepping stone for some other character to reach a "new level"

or 2. serve a key role in the plot.

I dont think he will simply just stay in the series as a stepping stone, he really isnt the kind of character you keep as a supporting role.

i dont think suigetsu is a fodder that will just die, i also dont think he is any main character/villain. He is a support and he may very well become the leader of the seven swordsmen seeing as that group isnt very important either.

if you as me they are just using some screen time to build up his role now, and potentially later use him as a key character. I think he's one of the most overlooked characters in this series.

they arent important cause they havent existed in ages. this whole series is about the passing of the torhes. suigetsu = the next zabuza? we never really got to see a zabuza growing up and developing as a ninja beyond the flashbacks of mass murder of his fellow students.

Suigetsu's goal is to surpass his brother Mangetsu who mastered all seven swords. So more like Suigetsu = Next Mangetsu.

Suigetsu,Juugo,Karin,Sakura,Kiba,Ino,Shikamaru(etc) all those played a role, that role is no longer relevant to the show.At best i think you will get a few screens of him getting all 7 swords, he will NOT create the next evil organization simply because the 7 swordsmen were strong BUT nowhere near as strong as Akatsuki, so it wouldn't make sense to have another story arc with a waaaaay weaker enemy.

I highly doubt we will see another Naruto series having the New generation as main characters, maybe an episode or two showing how they evolve. (i mean Konohamaru is lame and so are his friends, besides what is happening now is just the stuff of Legends this last Ninja war is like none other, gathering the strongest shinobi alive AND summoning even the strongest from the past, how can you top that?)

little correction.

even though their character traits are similar to the three sannin,

sasuke is gonna replace madara(only at the end of series)
naruto is gonna replace hashi(only at the end of series)

and it's gonna take a long time before sakura becomes anything like tsunade.currently she is just pathetic!U_U

and about the new series:-
don't think something like that is gonna happen.although it's sad,kishi is gonna end it after the big finale with sasuke and naruto!:(

he is not a stubborn guy like tite kubo of bleach.kubo is always obsessed with continuing his manga to eternity!when kishi ends the series that's gonna be it!:shrug:
