The reason i say this is because he is actually quite powerful i mean remember what he did against killerbee eg when suigetsu in that water beast mode held his own against killerbee in 8 tails mode plus he's good with swords,he is capable of using various water jutsu,he's a hozuki and hozuki have a water jutsu where they can shoot a water bullet from one finger which could kill (when the 2nd mizukage used it on ononki,onoki would have been dead if it wasn't for gaara switching the real onoki with a sand clone) plus he's the brother of mangetsu hozuki who was quite powerful and was the only member of the 7 swordsmen to master all 7 swords so with this in mind i find it silly how suigetsu seems terrified of the thought of joining sasuke and co as they go to the battlefield and i feel that he doesn't have any faith in his abilities i mean since he can use water jutsu he can be of some use against madara and or obitos fire techs and well since he no longer has the sword we might get a chance to see more water jutsu from him also if you think about it suigetsu can't get killed easily cause he could turn into water i mean look at when he fought the 8 tails, he took a full power tailed beast bomb from the 8 tails and even though his body got messed up he survived and if it was anybody else who got hit with the tailed beast bomb they most likely would have died plus you never know since sasuke and co are going to war and naruto is sharing kurama chakra with everyone naruto might give him some as well as sasuke and co some kurama chakra as well which will make them and their attacks more powerful but you never know,if suigetsu does join the war we might see a more serious and determined side to him afterall he does want to surpass his brother and become the leader of the new generation of ninja swordsmen.
