But that doesn't mean everything that happen in the hidden mist arc is canonical. Sarada vs Buntan feels alot more fillerish because not only the fight was alot more convoluted but they also brought up the event from the filler where not only Raiga was made into canon along time ago where essentialy it was brought up into the manga but now the anime took the liberty to bring up this whole curry life arc which makes absoltelty no sense to the manga storyline since Naruto never met raiga. Doesn't this episode prove to be more or less non canon??

Sarada got a solid 4 in Genjutsu in the Databook, much the same for Shurikenjutsu and Ninjutsu Knowledge. And this is the same Sarada I suppose still has 1T in the Manga.

Sarada v. Buntan was just all over the place dude. I'm glad Sarada got her feats, but it would be been 100% better if their fight wasn't cut off, and that Sarada wasn't running away for her life for the majority of it. Then the copy ninjutsu, the abilities themselves were uninspiring and lame.

Lightning mini balls? Large balls? Lightning tackle? It literally looked like Pikachu came to life.

The best Ninjutsu abilities are the most practical, that's why Mitsuki and Sumire was great, because their Ninjutsu abilities were scaled to the extent where it was believable. Whereas the Anime stepped in and made these abilities look random.

Notice how the best fights in the series are when everything is scaled and moderate, with awesome CQC and great animation. EX - Kakashi v. Obito is probably one of the most iconic fights of Part 2.

SP trying to make their own time line while the Manga is trying to justify the Mist Arc, whilst at the same time they are referencing Part 1 fillers.

That aspect is ineffectual to the fight, regardless. Which is the true reason why everyone was so hyped up over the episode.

Well, the Raiga part is a bit perplexing I guess. But I didn't pay any attention to it. It didn't matter to me as long as Sarada performed, which was what I said in the beginning. And it seems Uzumaki/Hyuuga fans are the only ones that are being critical about that episode while her fan-base doesn't really care, and we know why lol.

Seems regardless of how she performed, she would still get hate lol. Imagine if she spammed CES throughout the fight. The reaction. Nah, I think I prefer this reaction over that. Y'all can complain about Sharingan getting retconned for all I care. XD

Also, I got Itachi vibes from that fight, the macabre aspect of it via Sarada getting sliced only for it to be Genjutsu was awesome. U_U

If you wanna think for an Academy student that was lame and uninspiring, cool but you'll be even more disappointed when Sarada starts fighting like Itachi (hopefully).

I won't even defend this arc anymore if Boruto shows Raiton: Shiden against Kagura. I won't care about Sarada's feats cause that'll be filler af.

Sarada doesn't need Anime to be OP anyways. She already has a 4 in Genjutsu, so I don't really care if you disregard her Anime feats.

I'll just laugh when she's even more OP in the Manga. XD

The only reason why the fan base doesn't care is because ya'll will eat up anything fap-boy related w/o calling out the defects.

The Episode was borderline illogical. The whole aspect of it didn't make sense, especially with 700+ chapters of following a Sharingan never utilizing those same abilities until further grasp of tomoes. At the same time, they tried to incorporate logic in the episode, whereas the episode itself didn't. You would have characters walking or ontop of water, where electricity was present. Yet it didn't flow. They were fine, because the electricity was under them (while they were standing ontop of the water).

It's just mind-blowing.

The worst aspect of the episode was them trying to justify filler and have Naruto kill some guy whom he never interacted with to begin with. If ya'll are okay with this because of "feats" -- Then by all means.

No, we were told that Boruto has mastered all elemental ninjutsu at the beginning of the movie and volume 1 that comes with databook is pretty much evident to that.

So we already knew Boruto has galepalm, and other nature affinities and Sarada having genjutsu and other feats prior to the movie event therefore it's canon. Whatever went down during the beginning stage of academy is pretty much exclusive to the anime only. Although the idea and concept of the academy events that was referenced from the manga can be canon in someways, overall the circumstance that happened in these arcs are non-existent unless these particular details that occurred in the anime was also brought up from the manga.


It's the same thing with Boruto stream. The technique can be canon, but the fight may have been fillers. Do you understand what I am saying? So even though genjutsu and her sharingan feats are canon, the fight with buntan and how it was played out is filler especially when the anime referenced it from Part 1 filler arc.
