if a small quantity of water is added to excessive strong acid the water would mostly float on the acid layer , as the hydration of acid ions would release a lot of heat violently , causing the small amount of liquid on top to potentially boil and splatter, whereas when adding a small quantity of acid to water the acid droplets would sink and travel across the water layer , reacting with surrounding water in a similar way....however since the energy is more evenly distributed the reaction wouldn't be as violent.

so if katsuyu spread excessive acid to sucessfully cover up suigetsu he's done while suigetsu can effectively cause boiling to occur if he spreads small quantites of water all over katsuyu's acid b4 it is launched

There is an exact amount of water, the size of Suigetsu's physical body. Would Suigetsu be able throw himself on the acid or something? We should remember that Katsuyu's acid is able to kill people instantly. It also is strong enough to melt trough rock with ease.

The water gun will not be enough. The acid moves trough the air quite fast so shooting at it with water won't really do much.
He should try to dodge, but that will be futile when Katsuyu will be shooting it's acid from every direction.

No, unfortunately. Sakura wins this medium-high difficulty. It takes chakra for Suigetsu to liquefy, chakra that won't be available to him if he has to constantly reform himself.

I'm Pretty Sure Hydrification Needs Chakra And Quite Frankly Her Chakra Reserves Far exceeds That of Suigetsu.

Think about hundreds of human sized Katsuyu's all over spitting acid on Suigetsu, he's not escaping that.

So how can something that has no combat feats beat Sakura? You aren't making any sense. Not to mention Suigetsu has no water in this scenario.
