In addition to his own abilities, Suigetsu also has a good perception for swordsmanship skills, as he saw Killer B was a skilled swordsman almost instantly after the fight began. Suigetsu also seems to be very fast witnessed when he got away from A's assault against Jūgo and almost got C from behind unexpectedly until Darui stopped Suigetsu from landing his assault and he was fast enough to intercept Killer B's attack on Sasuke. He is also skilled as he was able to clash toe-to-toe with a powerful opponent like Darui even with the Kubikiribōchō broken in half.

We know he is able to liquefy himself but, think about his feats, he took a bijuu bomb from the 8tails and survived. Besides the 9tails the Hachi is the strongest in the series and is on par with "A". I think if suigetsu were to combine his suiton arsenal with raiton, he would be damn near Op. I also think its symbolic that Sasuke chose a suiton Expert as his first recruit in HEBI since Suiton helps Raiton currents flow better but that's off topic:O. The point I was trying to make is if Suigetsu received all seven swords plus if Sasuke taught him some Raiton techniques, which he should be able to master easily since his body is essentially suiton and should be able to help lighting currents flow easier as stated before, Suigetsu would be a force for anyone to reckon with.

Where would you rank current suigetsu?
Do you think he will be able to help Tobirama suiton attempts against the GT?
Where would you rank Suigetsu if he received the seven swords and or training in raiton element ninjutsu?

I don't think he can learn any raiton techs 'coz
he gets "jellified" by raiton
though he can possibly collect all the seven swords
but the fact that he survived a bijuu bomb
proves that he's a tough ninja.

yea, he turns into liquid. I suppose since it happens by force him turning into liquid via raiton techs causes him t jelly, but i think kishi trolled because as water he should be a good conductor for electricity because his water isnt pure and im sure has salt in it seeing as thoug he is a human. Salts has ions in it which conduct electricity. Kishi just didnt want the guy to be OP.=D

EDIT: Ay PUNK , ANCIENT. Anyone who can take on a bijuu bomb should automatically be considered low-mid Kage lvl IMO

he is one of my favorites.. I feel he is underrated and most of it (if you saw the anime today) is cuz he really doesn't care for what they are fighting for. He agreed to help sasuke since he freed him, but now his goals really have nothing to do with war. Hes just scared of orochumaru (as anyone would be if he experimented on you and held you captive) so he stays and gives his support in battle.
im sure he still has tricks up his sleeves that we haven't seen.
His liquefying body has huge advantages, yet any lightening user will have a huge upper hand against him.

All and all, top 20 maybe top 15 for sure.

I don't think suigetsu could just *poof* learn raiton like that. Although if he could he could also have a beast storm KKG like darui but on a larger scale. In reality, I couldn't see him taking all of the swords just because of bee, I don't think suigetsu could ever beat killer bee.... Ever...... But even with all that, I'll say low-Kage level

Maybe not "High" Kage mid-low depending on weather or not he has Kisame's Sword. With it, mid, without it, low.

well the reason why i say easily master is based on logic, not the manga. Based on the manga i agree, he jellys everytime, on logic he should be able to master it low diff

Actually he should be able to defeat Tsunade. he liquefys, so her strength is useless, he took on a tbb and survived her summons is useless. All she has is her some what sage mode thingy, and i think Suigetsu can totally deal with that mid diff. Hiru on the otherhand would defeat him, mid diff.

High Jonin. His Demon fish pushed back the 8 tails and tanked a TBB. But his weakness for Raiton is just too substantial to get a Kage ranking. If he can find a way to counter lightning release, he'll be amazing. Perhaps a new hydration technique could do the job; water vapor!

Yea, i totally agree, i said Kage lvl because i can actually see how much stronger he should be perceived based on his abilities. But it seems Kishi gave him such a weakness for a particular reason:erm:. even though technically his Suiton should do to Raiton what wind does for katon, make it stronger. Maybe it will, maybe sasuke will use suigetsu special ability in conjunction with his kirin to deal a death blow to the GOD TREE some how.

He's a confusing character to me. I feel like the simple fact that he can turn into water should make him able to defeat anyone aside from maybe a skilled lightning user or another skilled water style user. But he hasn't really been given his proper dues in the manga.

I think if plot didn't play a factor honestly he'd be top 5. I mean as soon as you touch the guy he liquefies and then can suffocate you with his own liquid body. It's like an instant win

I think had he stayed with Kirikagure he would be up for the role of Mizukage. He still has a small chance if he does something big in this war and decides to return to Kiri. That is assuming Mei dies somehow...
