No, thats how it is formed is similar, when the wind element was added the similarities dissapeared. The RS doesnt destroy the body, it destroys the inside of the body, TBB is just a huge chakra blast.

I think their state would be the same as when Suigetsu got hit with TBB...so its sure they'd survive-even if their chakra system is gone they'd survive for a few minutes like Kakuzu . But I still think that they have their cells and nerve system in their liquified state....something must keep their body alive even if its an anime

Wind has no elemental advantage over water, so as long as the activate their hydro technique before they are hit with RS, they will survive.

This doesnt make sense, it is pretty straight forward how the hydrification tech works, they convert themselves to water.

Their being might still be there, but there cells are not. They have been converted to water.

umm no they have the ability to turn into water. pulling apart the very being of that water molecule which holds their "chakra network/body further down than just water equal's you being killed. not going to bother with arguing a pointless conversation about a unkillable Edo getting stop by anything but a seal.

I see your point and you may be right but there are so many and so small needles that they can affect the chakra system,at least a part of it even if not the whole.

LOL umm no on so many levels. what happens is its slowly gets pulled apart (more dropplets) and evaporates as it get broken down. chemically wise it doesn't take much effort to break water down. chemistry 101. Something moving so fast that it can tear apart you cellular structure can easily tear apart the bonds of hydrogen and oxygen. In regards to Naruto Rasenshurken which is now disengrating people and things it hit. I say its moving pretty fast to destroy water. I must of missed the part where the paths of pains only left behind a pool of water when they died
