Suigetsu shat himself and was hiding behind Lord Orochimaru when Tobirama lifted a finger.

He is so underrated its not funny. It's a shame he has no flashbacks and we know nothing about him. The only characters that could beat him are Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara and Lee. I can't think of anyone else in that age group however Choji is questionable.

Suigetsu isn't underated. Suigetsu is comic relief. And those characters are rarely strong. Kishi didn't even bother to have him fight his brother, Mangetsu. That is how Kishi thinks of Suigestu.

And even though in the story he is just Team 10's fat best friend, Choji is better than Lee and Neji. Kishi chose to develop Choji while all Neji did was get tied up by a Zetsu and later sacrificed for plot. Lee hasn't been used well in years.

I highly disagree with you. Suigetsu is not JUST for comic relief, similar to Jiraiya. They both have their funny moments. If he really was just for comic relief then he wouldn't even be shown in fights. He's been shown in many.
And Kishi didn't make him fight Mangetsu because that simply wouldn't make sense. Suigetsu is not with the allies and he was in jail for crying out loud. I'm not convinced you read my thread if you think he isn't strong. That is all.

That's how I see it but people just toss him aside, as one lightning technique and everyone on the base tosses him aside. He doesn't have any HUGE gamechanger jutsu but it's cool because he doesn't really get enough coverage. I just love his character really.
