Sugawara passed away

On November 28th, the legendary Japanese actor Bunta Sugawara passed away, Yahoo News reports.

Bunta Sugawara, probably most well-known for his roles in movies such as Wolf Children, Spirited Away, the Battles Without Honor and Humanity and is known as being the model for the design of the One Piece character Sakazuki “Akainu.”.

anime community ? He was a life action movie actor, he had little or nothing to do with anime. He is considered one of Japans biggest movie stars.

This man had nothing to do with One Piece, he wasn't a voice actor, Oda modeled the character Akainu after him because he is a famous Japanese actor, like he did with all admirals.

He is basically the Japanese Robert de Niro. Grumpy badass who played a lot of gangster roles.
