suggestion on how-to's

It seems like the format of the website has changed since the How-to thread was created. I understand that itis a lot of work but is there and way thyat some of this could be updated?

I am having trouble customizing my profile due to the fact that I can't find certain thing because they are not in Tue same place that they are in the how to thread such as "customize profile" and "edit options".

Any help would he greatly appreciated. I am trying to change my background on my profile.

Just because you don't know where the options are, it doesn't mean they're not there. They're not going to change the format just because you can't figure it out. It's not that hard.

To be sure I'm not Tue only one who has been confused and I was debated as to weather or not I would just p.m. somebody who I thought might know I decided to make a suggestion they they do some work on the thread instead be being bombarded with noobish questions like that from moons like me

First of all I must ask you, did you use the customization button on your profile OR did you go in your User Control Panel?

The User CP one is a lot more difficult and I don't know whether it works anymore (I don't use it) so just go in your profile and click the [Customise my profile] button on the top right corner next to the VMs and such.
Now it gets pretty self-explanatory the color changes happen immediately so if you change one are to lets say red you can see where it applies without the need of saving or refressing.
So just go in your profile and click the button I told you ,play a bit with the colors and you will figure out how it works in no time
Really there is no need for a tutorial, it's pretty self explanatory...
