Throughout my time on Narutobase, I have seen members insult each other or post inappropriate things. I'm not going to count myself out, when I first got on here, I insulted others when I was angered at them. I got my infraction which I deserved.
Lately, I have seen many avatars/signatures or people posting pictures of things they might think or call "Gay". Yes they are expressing their beliefs, but it might be insulting to others. There are people on here that are actually L.G.B.T.S and it might really hurt their feelings seeing those kind of threads/comments.
Most people relate to Sasuke as Sas'gay', or they will post pictures of characters doing stupid things and make fun of it by calling them "Gay". There was also a thread talking about Gays and Lesbians and the kind of insulting things tht was posted on there was unbelieveable. Another I saw was the religion threads, people made fun of other religions which in my opinion, is very disrespectful.
My point is, I think there should be a more strict policy when it comes to those circumstances. These things can really hurt someone and you never know how bad it can be. Anything is possible and I beileve it is a lower version of cyber bullying but in a different way. I have seen to many insulting/disrespectful threads and post and I think there should be huge consiquence for it.
The base should be a place where we meet new people and build friendship. Throughout my time here, I meet so many nice people and everyday, my friends list continues to grow. I spend alot of my time on here because of the wonderful people I meet everyday and thats how it should be. You don't want the new members to be seeing these ridiculous threads with peole insulting each other, being rude and obscene. It our job to keep the base clean and a wonderful place to be, not only the Mods. So lets keep the base the number one site in the world and have fun
