Suggestion: "No Thank You" Button

By not pressing the "Thank You" button you are essentially saying "no thank you". Other than that, there is the normal negative reps approach.

and it uses Vbulletin as well.....

Why not? I think it's not a bad idea cause it might discourage some on making repeat threads/troll threads but still, it will be a bit too like the 'Like/Dislike' button option. And that's not such a pleasant perspective for me since I think too many people might just spam that option then; causing much anarchy for the system.

So considering both drawbacks and good sides, I think the present 'Thank You' option is not so bad, so I think it's not something necessary and it could cause more bad things than goods in my POV.

What I'd really like is a 'Thank You' button option in General Discussion/Chatterbox section since there are some interesting threads there that deserve some in my opinion. I don't really understand why there is not one there.

Trolls really will not give a freaking damn whether they get "no thank you" or not. That's the essence of being a troll. On top of that people would just abuse it.

It gives no benefits and several disadvantages. When that's the case the answer is simple: no.

That I agree with, 100 percent. Some awesome stuff comes from there, as does some in the Naruto Discussion.
