But there's never been this many members
Well people leave or quit quite often for instance a week or two ago the RP section was far more active. Now its actually slowing down a lot only getting a post every few hours. I believe the current system is one of the best out there mainly cause almost everyone has training and the only people who are unsatisfied are either lazy or are angry that they arent getting trained in everything possible at the moment. Ive seeen people complain cause they got a sensei or sempai covering basic five, gen and tai. Yet they were complaining cause they couldnt find a Nin teacher. Those are the people who slow down traning for others... More teachers is the solution but not in a chaotic way, just wait for people to pass their sensei test.

I disagree with both :p The only problem is people rush and want training instantly. I dont reply to s student for a few days due to vacation next thing I know Im dropped lol. Greedy people like that get in the way of most newer RPers. However I see a lot of complaints of people yet never see them VM any sensei or sempai which is bothersome. If you look really hard youll find teachers ^^

I believe that the current system is fair enough and I know a couple of people who could potentially become senseis soon so just try your best to find people until more senseis arrive or Scorps and Lili have thei training method down ^_^
The bolded part is absolutely true. I despise such people, who drop senpai's and sensei's, for the newer, assuming they're more active. Newer members do not get a chance, and if the members keep on fighting with the newer ones for a training spot, which they already have, albeit slower, newer members would never start RP. It is a very selfish act. I plead all these people, you know who you are, who want to complete the basic 5 fast, to stop these nonsense U_U For one, you're only stopping this entire RP for the newer members, and you guys continue to complain and complain, as if if you cant complete your training instantaneously, you'll die. It is a very immature act, please, be more considerate for the newer members.

I find it absolutely disappointing that people just drop teachers so freely, just because they're busy. They don't even bother, nor care about their RL, and just care about themselves. Selfish, self-centered, its pitiful. They just want the quickest option available, and leave the newer members in disappointment, not being able to get a training spot because somebody stole it, by dropping his own senpai, when he was already training in it.

The RP right now is satisfying, it is better than it ever was. It is all those selfish and greedy members that should stop, and everybody would be pleased. There are over 50 teachers over NB, it is more than enough, if you guys were to share spots, and not just drop senpai's selfishly just for another spot. Its an act of immaturity >_O

Time waits for no man.this is an rp system if you keeping reminding sensei or sempai to teach you for more than 1 month to teach you and none replies and the ones that do say their busy o human being in my opinion can say they will be not angry.lol the funny thing is that the early to members mastered everything and have either become sensei, role play moderators, official sages or bosses.i can bet to you that if those wanting training registered and started rp in april 2008 at even half the speed and hard work and effort they would have mastered almost everything or everything.role play is a game of luck more than that of hard work in my opinion.

Exactly it's all about being on at the right time on the right day. I remember once there was abotu 5 different training app threads then they were closed sue to the massive amount of request then a month later they were open again.
You just gotta find out when senseis are about to release some student's and catch them before they fill the spot.

Note: I know you can definitely get at least one training session if you make a Uchiha bio. I haven't seen Akiza pass up the opportunity to beat someone senseless till their in the hospital.

Thunderbolt, as i said once in the last similar thread about this matter, i started to RP May last year. This means that in less than a year i achieved mastery of basic 5, ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, gentle fist, wood release, fuuin, became a senpai, then a sensei now an RP mod.

How did i do it? Konoha town, making friends. Being active, mature, respectfull, helpfull and again, active. Most members that complain about not having training get online like 2 hours a day, most not even that. Activity is essential and is the main reason why some people are trained faster than others. The overall behavior also helps. Trolling or harsh, ill mannered members are less likely to gain training than others. It may seem unfair to the ones who have that behavior, but its human nature. You feel better giving training to a willing, deserving, nice person than a Troll.

I don't think that the current situation is that bad. Members are simply less patient than they ever were.

The keywords were respectful, helpful, active, mature and patience, for the ones that missed it :p

But yeah, if you ask for training every day, spam up, harass us on msn or whatever does not make our will to train you any stronger :p
I haven't been a sensei for very long but I now finally know why senseis are busy all the time. The spam! The horror! xD
If someone tells me to hurry the F up whilst I have exams or so I simply want to drop that person, but I am good, I won't do that xD

To be perfectly honest, more sempais is part of the problem with the site, people with insufficient skill to pass a sensei test should not be teaching in the first place
You missed the point completely. The people that cannot train will not train, and if they do train they will be stopped from making the mistakes they used to make. Most, if not all, the sempais DO have enough skill to pass the test, but either have not learnt enough nin/tai/gen, have not enough experience or do not have the time/patience to become sensei. You shouldn't simply think that sempais cannot pass the test because many of the senseis have been sempai as well, and guess what? We passed the test. You're not making friends with that lol

Happens to all senseis, the sheer annoyance of spam will get to anyone eventually (please dont ask why I know xD)

To be honest with you that is inspirational but you and mathias for me did the undoable lol . Sempai, sensei, moderator the thing is for me personally when I see people like you and other rp member advancing and becoming sempai, sensei, and moderators it make me want to even master all of my elements more and become an rp member known to all not just for mastery of elements or others but as a strong one too. I remember the other day I saw leaf who was scarf ace sempai before becoming a sensei I even tried to work harder imagining my self in the orange name but let me ask you this question scorp say you found no one to teach you till let's say August or even September won't you be dismayed in my opinion our rp now is mainly about luck and friend ship .i see on the sensei application thread one of The rules was not to refuse any student,or if you must refuse it is because you are full with students.yet as I speak sensei have already ignored me in training, and other rp applications due to their what appears to be dislike of me.tell me is that it that people are tossed away or cant not get answers or reply I don't know about you man but that is plain sad.i applaud you and Kathy and other members who mastered all those shit I. A short time but truth be told in the current system I don't see that happening.this is my honest opinion let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Im trying to do it >.> Not modship though Im not active enough .-. But I believe it is possible if you are smart and mature enough to go around like a great friend to everyone and willing to get everyone to improve. Then I believe you can master everything within a quick amount of time, especially if you have the right connections like Scorps probably did. Mathias and Scorps were incredible with how they advanced in RP I remember Mathy passing his sensei test in what? 1 night? I was in sitting there in awe at how great he did which is why I am hoping to one day become a sensei. Yet this shows that it is not impossible since a lot of people or new gen RPers are coming close to mastering basic 5 within 1-2 months. So I really dont get what all the complaining is about.

A rather naive view of this rp there, lol all about luck and freindship? That is not the case. Senseis do not respond often to spammed requests, ones that are not polite, or from people theyve seen to prove themselves as a hassle to train. You seem to forget that peoples actions on this site are visible to everyone and carry consiquences

Hum, this is not the place to tell you what you are doing wrong, but you are doing something wrong thunderbolt.

I can only speak for myself. It took me tons of hard work to get were i am. And so did most of the new generation senseis/senpais/strong members.

The thing is that i never expected to master anything in a week. It took me one month and a half to master earth. If not more (too lazy to go find the threads). I never bugged my senseis. I remember the "buzz" it was to get my first training. I was honestly very happy that Raiden.. (Hattori Hanzo at the time) accepted me. Then i eventually got lili to teach me Water. Dam, i loved that training. Seriously, i enjoyed the hell out of it. It was a buzz to learn something. Not because i was getting power to go fight but because of the process of learning.

In our RP for me the most enjoyable things are:
-Learning new skills
-Teaching others
-Creating things (CJS, CE's, etc)
-Making bios

However, most members want to fight...and that is about that. And to fight, you need mastery and strong skills as members like to spam S-Ranks back and forth, so you have an increased pressure to get the training done as high as you can to pawn others. It became a bit...ridiculous.

My first fight ever was with Taiketsu Yagami! I loved it! He only had water up to B-Rank (water dragon) and i had earth up to B-Rank (dropping lid i think). It was epic and hell of fun. It didn't matter if we won or not. The main thing was having fun. I remember him saying "Man, don't kill me off right now, i want to use Water Dragon i just learned" and i replied "Np, i'll wait for you to get the 40 handseals done...try to do them right though...lol"

Seriously, why is this lost? Why do members like the concept of overpowering others so much? It only puts more pressure into the training system as members want to get more powerfull instead of wanting to enjoy the "ride" to power.

you have to have the will and persistence to keep moving, it does not matter the time it takes to achieve mastery of the basic 5 or nin, gen, tai. I'm nearly finished my elements and will (hopefully) be training in nin, and tai soon then i'm off to try to become a senpai 0_0 Basically as soon as i've done that i'll train for approximately two months then try for the sensei test. It's not always a thing of luck, its a thing of being the right kind of person. My friend -Naruto'-s been inactive and therefore my raiton training is at a standstill, but i don't care i'm simply waiting for him to get back :p

This is something I completely agree with.
I got into the RP system late last year. Being active, and respectable and don't beg sempai/sensei for training. Will get you a long way in the RP.
I haven't mastered everything, but I have got so far in what 5 months. I don't even care if it takes ages I wait. We don't need more sempai, there is a lot as is. People don't understand they have life's. Patient is the key. It doesn't hurt to wait.

As Scorps also added, getting your first training is exciting, (Mine was Scorps XD)
Sensei/sempai, will less likely to train you if they have seen your previous behaviour, and course the well mannered person. (I would do the same) you have to be polite if you ask and if they say no, don't beg.

Highlighting my own opinion of the rp xD its all about satisfying egos by annihilating enemies rather than having fun with your skills and actual roleplay

But really, there is much more about this site than rp alone! And you should be active, that way you have more chance of actually getting training ^_^

Should have used the search function
As scorps has said before they want quality over quantity.
You need more senseis to have more sempais
Just be patient and wait

Although I like the idea
