I was thinking that, a lot of Role players that begin to Role play are quite decouraged by the fact they can't find someone to train them... So, here is my suggestion: Why not allow the senseis to have 2 or 3 sempeis at the same time... That would make a lot more people to train in the basic elements, and save senseis from training elements and focus on the things only they can teach...

just a suggestion, feel free to comment ;) ^^

EDIT:

Since Leaf explained the problem that my original sugestion would create, I alter my suggestion to this:

Hmmm, in that case, I have a further suggestion: How about having something betwin Senseis and Sempeis: Tutors!

Tutors would be tested like regular Senseis, but only in the elements they have mastered.

Unlike the Senseis, they will not require to know everything, but will have to master at least one element before apllying... They then will be tested in the elements they wish to teach, and will be able to teach them if they pass the test... I would be interested to do that (I have mastered Lighting). I would like to help people to start RP...

A further restriction might be that they could only teach till a-rank for example...

Please vote on the poll about it instead of Sempeis... ^^

Yes I believe there should be more but at the same time, I beleive the RP system is good as it is.
Plus the only reason for the supposed lack of senpai's is because there is a lot of people on the base wanting to role play and a lot are new.
Either way to get more senpai's we need to train people to be able to even fill the role. On top of that more people need to actually become a sensei. So that we will be able to have more senpai. We can't just have a bunch of people that all of a sudden becoem senpai's without any order whatsoever.

Me personally am working towards becoming a sensei to help with the issue with training.

Not a good idea.
If you look at it like that it sounds like a really good idea and all since there are more people that can actually teach things to people, but there is a downside. Sempais do not get tested to see if they have the knowledge and skill to teach students, unlike senseis. Therefore, the senseis are responsible for the sempais. Now here is the clue, the senseis thus need to keep track of what their sempais do. With one sempai this is manageable, but it does give senseis more work. Now imagine senseis having three semais. That is three times the work they would normally have beside their own training threads. If our sempais would do something wrong in their teachings, we senseis will get part of the blame. So that might not be the best option.
Beside that, I think that one should not get discouraged by searching for senseis and sempais who do have time. Just try until someone has time ^_^

If this attitude persists then new members will lose interest in rp and old members will have to fight again and again among themselves...

Well, that is not exactly true.
When someone who is completely new to rp asked me for training a couple of months ago I would say yes in a heartbeat, though now I have 25+ students, and it doesn't work that well anymore.
I do agree that there should be more people teaching, but simply not more sempais.
Come on future senseis!! pass the tests xD

But seriously, one must hold on. I'm sure that everybody will receive training if they keep asking (not every day, maybe not even every week). Just make sure not to bug senseis ^.^

Well, that will not exactly work that easy either.
Think about the ones that must test all these people, the written test has to be put up by Nexus and he is busy enough as it is, and the battle test must be performed by senseis who are also busy.
Also, you would have to get so many test for that, and knowledge of only one element is not enough to teach in general, even though you only were to teach that element. To know of Fire you also must know properties and other things of the other elements, which you would have to be tested for again with that test. That should make things more difficult and confusing lol
If one would only be able to teach up until a certain rank the students would have to shift between several sensei/sempais every time. Which would get rather confusing and annoying as well for both students and sensei/sempais. It is just not that simple.

Leafs right about how senseis have to watch over us "uneducated" senpais ;)

Also the tutor things isn't a good idea, it sounds like that students teaching students idea from a week ago someone suggested.

Suggested multiple times before.

An alternate system/solution is being considered that would put more teachers in action. We just need to get it rolling.

Also, me an Lili-chwan are undertaking a test for a new training regiment for elemental training that would both increase basic understanding of the elements and also increase the training speed.

Basically, something is being worked out. But you mustn't forget that never in the RP history was there so many senseis and senpais as they are now.

If the tutor system existed, I am pretty sure thousands of people would apply. It isn't that hard to master a single element which would lead to my previous sentence.

What I suggest is : -read my signature-

Sound like a very good plan, can't wait ^_^

I disagree with both :p The only problem is people rush and want training instantly. I dont reply to s student for a few days due to vacation next thing I know Im dropped lol. Greedy people like that get in the way of most newer RPers. However I see a lot of complaints of people yet never see them VM any sensei or sempai which is bothersome. If you look really hard youll find teachers ^^

I believe that the current system is fair enough and I know a couple of people who could potentially become senseis soon so just try your best to find people until more senseis arrive or Scorps and Lili have thei training method down ^_^

Well, I sort of agree with you as well. I am sick one day and receive 10 pms of people that either ask me if I forgot them or tell me to hurry the F up.
Luckily I see the humour of that as well.

Patient people have more chance of getting trained I think.

I understand about not being able to find training trust. We all have been there. The thing that people do have to understand though when you do get the training it's worth it. I had to wait a few month's to get my first sensei to accept me. But by the time I did get into training I was already S-class so my sensei was able to just keep training me till we were finished. Most sensei's actually want to train you till the end (at least that's the case with Wesobi, and Yusuke can't vouch for anyone else as I have not trained under anyone else)

Long story short stop complaining, my advice is to just keep posting and looking for a sensei. Then by the time you get trained rather than going up to a certain point then having to stop till you reached a certain post count. You can just get the whole thing done once.

Note: I haven't slept in over 24 hours. So if thing's don't make sense just know it did in my head.

Well we do have to remember we also lost some mods due to school and RL. So Scorp's and the others are having to pick up where they left off and get acclimated.
Honestly even though I have little to know training I am happy with the way thing's are because we are at least seeing progress. And the mod's are working for solutions for our problems.
Just look at some of the thing's that have been done recently in RP. I say give them a break and get a cannon bio like me if you really need jutsu that bad.

And imagine they had to do that while dealing with all the Trolls NB has to deal with.
