Suggestion for Training System

I have a suggestion that i would like to pose towards the way that training is currently run on the forums.

I was thinking, at the moment we have a very "first come first served" system which of course has its merits, but i was thinking is it possible that we have a class based system on the forums.

By this i mean, have threads dedicated to particular training classes, for instance, a thread for C Rank Wind, or Kenjutsu.

People could apply in these specific threads, which would allow Moderators to see exactly how many people need what type of training at what time, and make it easier to prioritise those in need.

I also wonder if it would be possible, if this class based system could be used to train students in bulk units of five or so, depending on the sensei/sempai's discretion. Allowing the maximum number of students to benefit at once, and making it easier for the workload to be organised.

I just feel that there is a reason why the education system in real life is run as it is. I know its a lot more difficult for a forum, and they do an excellent job anyway, but i though the suggestion was valid enough to pose.

I like the idea in some ways but in practicality terms batch training tends to lessen the quality of the training received. Also how does one decide who needs training in these threads? Someone who is closer to finishing training so that they are prepared to to help others or someone who is barely starting their training just so they can have more fun in the RP?

I guess your right, but i still recon it may help the Moderators, if the training required was organised in this way, and i think it would make it easier to apply for training as well. Because then any sensei can see the applications, and take up students in the class they teach.

Also in the past if i recall their was a batch training system similar to this but it didn't work because of different GMT's i think.

Actually that is also a very good point, because of the difference in time zones it would be much more difficult to coordinate, but i still believe it would be more efficient overall, as that problem already exists with the current system.

I know that there are a couple of sensei's who do discriminate on time zones, because its the only way to get things done in their eyes.

Yeah i also have no training as of yet, and i have been looking for a while.

To answer your question, there could be a folder for custom jutsu's and techniques that people are willing to teach, and a folder for clan techniques. This would work as with normal jutsu's as then the people who can teach the clan techniques, are able to discern how many people need training easily.

Well I actually like this idea but I think it has been suggested maybe even trial implemented before which leads me to believe that there is some good reasons as to why it isnt used now.

Yeah, i am also starting to think that there must be a good reason that it isn't implemented other than "its just too hard".

I mean if they knew there was something that would be easier to do they would most likely have chosen to done it.

I disagree, however, like the idea, but it would be to much to maintain for one Sensei or Senpai. It would also be difficult, maybe, for the Student to learn the Jutsu properly because the other students may have already learn and/or understand it. Its like real school, the teacher cannot focus on all the students at the same time, but on a one-on-one, the teacher could help them out on any problems they my have.

You also have the time at which the students GMT do not match, which could also cause more problems. The other student my be ahead, close to finish, while the other is nearly done. Its fair in away, but on the other-hand, its not. That is way it is best to stick with training one individual each, however, many Sensei's Training Methods are different which actually train in batches. Some don't use this method because of the latter.

I think this idea makes a lot of sense, but i would be happy with just the applications being grouped together. This seems to be the most logical way of looking at it that i can see.

i have to disagree with your idea overall, we should keep it the way it is, reasons for mass training were already explained and i just think that this would be way too chaotic, i mean, thread for each thing that can be taught? and than there is a question about who is going to go first from THOSE threads? keep it the way it is, that's what i think we should do

and what do Mods have to do with teaching? yeah, senseis and Head Sensei are all under Scorps, but for example Sveti isn't RP Mod, so he has no powers over senseis in their position (RP wise)

to your idea i say that you can't force sensei to take, at least 13 students (considering that that sensei can only teach Basic 5 and Nin, Gen and Tai) from which most senseis got Kaito's Tai as well (14) and more than 1 Special Clan ability, which would be around 18 students, and i doubt any senesi would go for this (maybe Scorps, but he is crazy xd)

I guess its going to be hard for the sensei's anyway they do it, there just simply is'nt enough of them to do the job for everyone
