[Suggestion] CE for tourny prizes

I was looking at the CE list and i shall say... No more then 80% of the people on that list

Use them CE and are Active

. But whats worst is that. you even have some people who is perm banned (Bianca.. i wish she was back so i could learn glass release. ) And thats being inactive in Rp. and some havent been logged in since 2009 and in no way am i Mocking them but for all we know some of them could be dead and never coming back... So my suggestion is..

Wipe the slate clean. all the CE except for the people thats active. Dont allow nobody to post in the CE section except those who have them approved already. for about 2months. Once those 2months has passed we can submit it. NO copy and paste but yea. in your own terms. Cause my thing is....

Bianca... Shes perm banned and regardless if she made an Alt or is here she isnt able to use Glass release. I asked a mod awhile back and i think they said she didnt pass her glass release on (Maybe its me) so why lock something of that calibur and so epic.... So host a tourny and whoever wins pretty much gets to make the CE that was up for prize all over in their terms so on. so on. Feedback please.

No, doing so is literally copyrighting since they took the concept and adapted it to the naruto-verse. As such it is their property, and therefore no one can strip them of it no matter what the circumstances are.

Thats just selfish to steal someone elses idea for ur own just because they are not active. Some people have came back after being inactive so u never know.

Instead of stealing someone elses idea, create something even more original...

@taik. its not being selfish. Cause majority of CE thats made by the older gen are rather obvious CE. so stealing...? No. Thinking of the same thing.. Yes. If anything we have to literally make up CE thats pretty much OUT there.. It can be done. but some people imagination dont work that way. As if i was during time frame of 2009 when it just open. I would have created Cell Release and Abstract Release (1st two that came off the back) i have no clue if they are taken but i can guarantee you they are. Not being selfish just an Idea

It's not stealing if it becomes a Legal thing to do in the RP system, and theres nothing wrong, we could even contact such creators and ask for there permission to present there C.E as a tourny prize.

Thats her problem, she brought her perma ban upon herself. I do not know the circumstances of her ban but i'm fairly sure that she doesn't deserve to get them back due to that. Not only that she could never learn it on an alt since only sensei can teach CE and only the creator can teach it. I.e bianca herself which is impossible due to her perma ban. Now i'd like to get off the subject of bianca as it is not our place to be talking about her.

I have to agree with this. Create something that represents yourself as an individual and something that would make you stand out from the crowd. Something that would ultimately represents you as for who you are, for who you are in the roleplaying system. A C.E that would be capable of moving mountains and defeat your foes. Something more original that you never thought of. there are millions of C.E. ideas out there, you just have to think about all of those things what I had wrote down in the first few lines.

I see what everyone is saying and I somewhat agree to disagree with them and Phaze, but how would you understand the CE or rather, be train to use the CE if the Original Creator is inactive? About the idea of it being illegal, how? Many ideas are copied and paraphrase to fit the writing of the copier. If that same CE is copied from another forum (or website/Anime/Manga), would that to be illegal?

The way this idea could be approve is what Mugetsū suggested, "Contact Such Creators And Ask For Their Permission To Present Their CE As A Tourney Prize."

I sorta agree. They did "create it, and have a "copyright", so therefore, we can't take it because it doesn't belong to us.

Is never going to happen. It's an adamant rule that you do not touch the CE/CJ of a person, no matter what might have happened to them and none of us is planning to change that as if we do it once, then it should be allowed for any skill.
