Suggestion: A NarutoBase Dictionary

I just love browsing threads and reading up on stuff about Naruto theories but the problem I'm experiencing is that very often people use abbreviations and I have no idea what they refer to but everyone else seems to. Sometimes I can figure it out based on the discussion but sometimes not. My suggestion is that we have sticky thread or something to which terms that are used often can be listed so that we can all know what each other are saying... unless of course I am the only one who sometimes get left behind...

Anyway, an example of what I desire is something like this:

EMS: Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

If there is already something like this please lead me to it

Hmm I do see how it would be useful, but you may also be able to find the meaning of a word just by using context clues...

I mean, yeah but..

I sometimes see posts where someone uses like 5 abbreviations for jutsus/items etc etc. I can see how new members could be like "...what? o.o". Googling every word would take like 5 or so minutes, when it could be so much easier to just go to a specific thread to see what something means and it'd take a fraction of the time.

It's more of a leisure suggestion for lazy people :3.

S/T= Space-Time Jutsu... now I know one more

I thought considering the Naruto fanbase and how this is an active forum built on the famous Naruto anime/manga, people would learn these things quick and easy. It's sort of common knowledge and if you don't know/it's your first time, it's not that hatd to figure out. I think it's a worthless suggestion because these are simple things people just pick up. I've never seen a thread, besides this, really even touch the subject of what does EMS or FTG mean? Some we learn in the manga, anime, and games. Plus we have the Internet.


I could see it as useful, but it's nor nessicary. A cool touch maybe, but not like truly needed.

So rephrase: Any volunteers who know, or can find out, the abbreviations and are willing to undertake this task? I would do it myself but... like the rest of the staff, my time is limited.

Wind.., Drizzeh, and Korra: if the 3 of you are up to the task, I say give it a shot. I'm getting some flak for supporting this suggestion, but I'm not changing my mind. Can't guarantee the higher-ups will approve so make a good draft and the Staff will review it. If it's rejected, then, we have our answer.
