So what do you think - is Sugar, from the Donquixote Crew, potentially the newest Strawhat member?
So far she hasn't had much screen time, but she shares the childish behavior that most of the Strawhats have. We still have no idea what her motives are, or even if she has one, but most people will assume they're evil since she's turning people into toys. But come on, guys, that's what a lot of us thought about Nico Robin as well, when she first appeared. For all we know, she could be doing all of this just to get some sweets, like we see her chew on all the time.
Really? I think she would fit perfectly in, considering the Strawhats are already a variety of "creatures". Brook is an old man, so why not a child-like character this time.
Again, that's what we, or at least I, thought about Robin when she appeared. Also with Franky, when he stole the crew's money and beat up Usopp. Don't judge her just yet.

Probably because we have barely seen anything of Sugar till now. Or maybe you just don't want her to join, I don't know. But I know that at least I would like her to join the Strawhats. Not saying there's a good chance of it happening, but still, it doesn't hurt to ask you guys what you think.
They probably do, but chances are nothing when it comes to Oda's mind. I'm just making this thread to inform you guys of the chances, even the slightest, of her joining the crew.

Then what about this one. Robin did the same when she assisted Crocodile in the search for Pluton, a weapon that could potentially destroy the world. Her motive was to find the information to the "True History", which she has yet to do. Very selfish, yet understandable.

You're right, but she obviously had a part in it, as well. Indirectly, she let Crocodile manipulate the rebellion and start the war, which in the end must have at least destroyed someone's life. But back to the main point.
I honestly don't see why people think there's a bigger chance of Viola joining than Sugar. Sure, Viola joined the Donquixote Pirates to make Doflamingo spare her father, King Riku, but she acted like a common criminal and assassin before she met Sanji, even a short time after their meeting. She indirectly helped the Donqoixote Pirates to turn people into living toys, even though she had an understandable excuse for that, but who says Sugar doesn't do this against her will as well? She's just smiling and accepting her orders, that's all. While Viola beat up Sanji, and once more when he tried to speak up.
lol every character that's introduced is the next Straw Hat. I could see this girl being used by Doflamingo & she becomes a friend to the SH's but she'll stay on Dressrosa.
I would say the guy announcing the tournament has as good a chance of joining them as she does.

The Strawhat crew is known to be strange - with a cyborg, skeleton, and a talking reindeer. I think it's about time to get another character in the group of weird characters, and a kid is definetely weird to see in a pirate crew. I can also see Oda makng people hate her intentionally at first, but later on make that hate to love as we get to know her past.
So both you and I know her chances of joining are higher than that guy.
I'd like for there to be more than two new characters, except Jimbei, to join the crew in the future, as in twelve in total. It's already been around 150 chapters since the time skip, so I'd like there to be a new member soon. That's just my opinion though.
I think Rebecca has a higher chance of joining, but not Violet. I just don't think Violet is Strawhat material - and yes, I do actually think Sugar would fit in.
