Sucks the manga is ending. Please help?

Hey guys.

I was wondering what manga, NOT ANIME (DO NOT POST ANY ANIME I prefer to read), do you guys recommend.

I like things similar to Naruto or DBZ (not the plot of course). Basically a story where people/ aliens/ beings/ whatever are able to manipulate energy, ki, chakra, things of that nature. Having powers or cool, unique abilities.

Any suggestions? Someone recommended I should read HxH but I've been procrastinating to get around to reading it.
