Nah, I don't really like their kids as much as them. Sasuke's daughter is just....she is a poor excuse for an Uchiha. Naruto's son is ok. The only kid that is really cool is just one, Shinki, his dad is Gaara adopted or not the kid seems like he's going to be epic. Controlling both sand and puppets, the kid is a beast. The rest of them from Chou Chou to Sarada are not what their parents suffered so much to be saddled with...

Sasuke and Naruto are the only reason I even got back into naruto at first. Hopefully there will be a lot of scenes and episodes with them outside of the kids.

That's why there is something called Character Development. They have more than enough time to become better characters as the story progresses.

The same happened with K11. They weren't always that strong.

It's because they are living peaceful lives. They haven't experienced any hardships to make them grow in a favourable way.

The genin are still doing lame missions like catching animals and stuff. It will definitely become better once they reach Chunin, then they will receive tougher missions.

Even in Naruto, the only reason Naruto and the others had gone through so much hardships was because they were forced into those kind of situations, taking on missions and situations that weren't meant to be taken on by genin.

Boruto himself seems kind of promising, but not even kid saukra said shannaro every five seconds, Sarada really feels like, even though she may develop as a character later on, it will not really amount to much, even if she did become hokage.
