The log jutsu hardly requires any chakra. I'd have to say its the best jutsu for dodging. Did you play the naruto game. I be spamming it all day and never get hit. Log Jutsu is epic.

Mmm, if you want to get technical about it, the log substitution jutsu (or any for that matter) would be based upon reaction time, so things like amaterasu, FTG, etc. You wouldn't be able to log sub out of it because you wouldn't be able to react fast enough.
