I wish English voice actor would stop making their voice sound so weird and just act then change levels or something =.=

In part 1 Naruto, I hugely prefer the English dub. It's MY LANGUAGE and the voices after the first arc are very tolerable. Shikamaru, Kakashi and Gaara in particular sound GREAT and have good voice actors. But when it comes to Shippuden, and the characters mature but the voices don't change AT ALL. It becomes a little forced and embarrassing.

The voices fit the tone of the series in part 1 but in Shippuden they're a little ridiculous.

Subs for every anime. Not only can I check then how much Japanese I already can understand, but the voices in the dub are just too weird. Even with Black butler, which is placed in Victorean England, I can't stand the English dub. One would think that English dub is perfect for that show, but it isn't. At least not in my opinion.

So yeah, English/Dutch subbed for me.

I like both, but I know the English VA's from attending anime cons, so I lean a bit more to them out of support.

The sub voices sound samey and some sound ridiculous, like Tenten and Sarutobi sounds bigger than he actually is. At least, the dub voices sound like the characters should.

*Coming from someone who usually prefers subs.*

That's just bad translation, there is rarely actual swearing, it's what messed up Hidan, fansubbers make out that he swore in practically every sentence.

But, when there is actual swearing, dubbers do it.

I like both sub and dub, but I guess sub wins... I'm kinda used to subs now... Because I didn't ever watch subs until I got up to where Naruto was dubbed.

I like the dub set ones.

The sub is what I prefer it in.

It depends on the anime. If a particular anime has a really quality dub with talented voice actors, I'd prefer to watch it in english as it's my native language and makes it a bit easier to enjoy an episode. If a dub exists but it's poor quality with mediocre or bad voice actors (Naruto dub...) then I'd rather watch the subbed version as the Japanese voice acting is usually of better quality.

A good example of this is Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z. They have good quality dubs associated with them (actually 2, the funimation and Ocean dubs, though I prefer Funimation) and I'd rather watch the dubbed version than watch a subbed version (I've watched very little dragon ball anime subbed)
