The other day I had this feeling of derealization and it made think more about reality.
One of the things that came to mind is that, what if things exist only because that's my perception of what reality is. And if I were to leave a room or certain area ..doesn't matter things would cease to exist, then re appearing into that room things would re appear to put it simply.
With some research I found that its an actual theory...

Anyway what are your thoughts on this.
Also...I know that this theory is far fetched but things like this fascinate me.

There's two possibilities here.

1. You got high on 4/20, which is plausible.

OR

2. You are simply having an existential crisis and decided to coin it with a different term.

Your choice.

sort of like the old tree falling in the forest question. As far as straight up yes or no's go with these type of questioning. I like to imagine myself as understanding the possibility of a duality of both being possible. Like you said there are cool theories on this, on how reality dissolve without our attention, and becomes meaningful or "reality" upon our observation. And at the same time There is the other possibility that we are just a recent phenomena that just happen to be able to tap into sapient consciousness after 14 billion years of Creation. I would feel kind of unconfident taking one side of this argument strongly, because No one alive can really say for sure what is going on lol.

With time we learn how things usually are, we drar conclusions based on that, but it dont matter if thos assumptions are right or true because they are only there because its a routine. Your "reality" might not be a reality but your brains perception of reality.

Thats my take on it.

I was about to launch into a debate between Subjective and Objective Reality - note the capital - but then I came across the third sentence. I hope you were not eating cheerios. They can give some serious gas.
