[Discussion] Subbed vs Dubbed anime. Which do you prefer?

In this scenario, I am mostly split. I usually prefer dubbed, because I really don't enjoy reading subtitles and most dubs are pretty good IMO(at least the dubs that I watch). However, sometimes I prefer subbed, because some of the Japanese voice actors feel like they suit the characters more than some of the dubbed voice actors in certain anime.

Subbed for me. Like you said, original voices fit way better into the characters, dubbed version sometimes lack depth in my opinion.

Dubs make my ears bleed. Watching subbed for years means that I can just read the subtitles quickly and watch the animation without missing much.

Some animes are better dubbed, but mostly subbed. The original is always better.

Subbed. Dubbed sounds like emotionless robots not fit for the characters. DBZ and some older shows I prefer dubbed simply because that is what I grew up watching.

the only dubs i enjoyed were fairy tail, chrome shelled regios, and soul eater...oh dbz too. subbed dbz makes me want to puke. even as a grown man goku sound like he has no testicles.

I've always been a man of subs.

Only times I've ever watched a dubbed was because

1. Cartoon Network only has dubs
2. A certain someone recommended it to me

I've never watched an entire series with a dubbed version though, except for Pokemon, but I never really watched Pokemon allot.
