Sub or Dub, which you choose ?

In terms of the animated series of Naruto, which version do you honestly prefer when it comes to your viewing pleasure ?

Do you prefer the sub version of the series where it contains the original audio and voice acting on how it's intended and purpose, with a slight consequence of putting a portion of your focus on reading the actual subtitles which would sometimes hinder seeing the actions and dialogues.

Or would you rather prefer the dub version of the series, where English voice actors would voice overs the characters, at the expense of losing the ambiance due to the actors in question interpreting the characters in their own style rather than keeping it contained as to how it was reflected in Japan ?

Personally I am more a fan of the sub and original version, primarily due to my dislike for Flanagan specifically for absolutely refusing to voice over Naruto as to how he was supposed to do so(constant shouting during dialogues, and admitting that she refused to watch and observe as to how Junko Takeuchi does it in the original version during scene transitions), the same applying for some other characters where they tend to say things that are completely out of place and/or make it awkward.

I am going to get a lot of heat, it's dub for me. Because, I find it easier to engage and focus rather than looking down at the screen the whole time.

For me I liked dub for Part 1 but when I started watching Shippuden I got tired of the crappy voice acting and went with sub. But even now I don't like sub for part 1 because Naruto sounds too annoying.

I like the dub for certain voices like itachi, Madara,tobi,pain and orochimaru.

I prefer the subbed version more, It has more to do with my preference for the Japanese language. Besides, I like how the Japanese actors handle voicing the characters, which they do perfectly most of the time.

I watch all anime in sub. Reading the translations doesn't bother me. After awhile, you learn how to read enough to understand what is going on so you can concentrate on the actual show. Dubs make everyone sound like a Californian surfer.

I prefer dubs, just because I don't like reading subtitles and it can make you lose focus on whats happening on the screen. Plus most dubs are done pretty good this day an age.

I don't mind watching subs though, sometimes I actually prefer them if the dub is terrible.

i havnt watched any anime dubbed in a long time. cant stand it. it only takes a second to read subtitles and im used to it. even in english games i have subs on lol

Sub. One Piece is the only anime I've watched where I prefer the dub (the funi dub obviously, I've erased that other one from my memory). It's so far behind it's ridiculous, but it's amazing. Probably has MORE swearing than the sub.
