Suarez gets a 4 month ban

Suarez gets a nine match penalty from fifa, and 4 months suspension from football related activities.
Also an 100000 swiss franc fine and he is during the time of his ban prohibited to enter any stadium in which Uruguay are playing.

Ban with loopholes from FIFA, he will surely appeal and during appeal will be allowed to play remaining world cup matches, and after world cup will miss nine meaningless friendlies and he might after appeal get it reduced to 2 months, I hope he isn't let off easy.

They should have made sure that during appeal he can't play in this world cup.

But this will affect Liverpool, and they might sell him if the price is right.
He will miss 9-12 EPL matches, Champions league matches and a few league cup matches.
He will join them on october 25.

Fifa media relations manager Delia Fischer reads a statement on Luis Suarez: "The player Luis Suarez is suspended for nine matches and banned for four months from any football related activity.
"The Fifa disciplinary committee has decided the player is regarded as having breached article 48 paragraph one and article 57. The player is to be suspended for nine matches, the first is the upcoming match between Uruguay and Colombia on Saturday."

Fifa added in a statement about Luis Suarez's ban: "A stadium ban is pronounced against the player Luis Suarez in accordance with art. 21 of the Fifa Disciplinary Code as follows: the player Luis Suarez is prohibited from entering the confines of any stadium during the period of the ban (point 3). The player Luis Suarez is prohibited from entering the confines of any stadium in which the representative team of Uruguay is playing while he has to serve the nine-match suspension (point 2).
"The player Luis Suarez is ordered to pay a fine in the amount of 100,000 Swiss Francs (£65,600)."

If I am not mistaken cantona kicked the man during the match and then in the tunnels too, he was prosecuted for assault too.
But it was also Suarez's third time so the ban could have been 6 months.

Fifa should at least have thought what this means in real world, if a man had bitten another one on streets and if it was his third time committing the foul he surely would have been booked under assault in the real world which would have included Jail time.

No that isn't the case, as far as I know, because The Guardian has posted this,

The Liverpool striker will not be able to play or train for his club or country for four months after Fifa’s disciplinary committee handed down the hefty sanction, which is sure to provoke dismay from both Uruguay and Liverpool.
Suárez has also been banned for nine competitive international matches, beginning with Uruguay’s last-16 clash with Colombia on Saturday, and fined £66,000.

In my opinion that is unfair. The World Cup comes every 4 years and for him to miss out on the rest of the tournament with his kind of ability is just wrong. That would no doubt end Uruguay's chances of winning the World Cup. FIFA should of just banned Suarez for one entire season at his club team.
