stood on the battlefield feeling a bit optimistic. Earlier he had applied for the tourney mainly because of the nature of the prize. It was a distinctive yet intriguing element. He felt this particular element needed to be amongst his arsenal, which mostly comprises of conventional elements. Thus his contrivance became to win the tourney at any cost. As he stood majestically, he began to notice how aberrant the terrain was. It was craggy, cold and oddly isolated. Yet another attention caught his eyes. He notice his opponent walking towards him, imbricating his former thoughts. He could tell the status of this person, and what he is to him not because of his unusual spectacles, but because of his movement, which seemed like someone who's adamant on achieving a goal. Once he reached the desire range before their battle could commence, Ashura whose hands were folded through out that point, decided to unfold them, whilst resuming a battle-like stance. His feet stuck ever so firmly to the ground, while his eyes retracted marginally.
"Before we begin this battle, know that I have nothing against you. We just happen to have a similar goal, am sure of that."
As these words liberated from his mouth, Ashura begin on the offensive. He channelled his chakra towards the ground, stamping his feet during the process. This was for theatrics, but the result was anything but that. The ground began to shake tremendously, hoisting the opponent off balance and possibly falling hilariously. "Naturally while the ground shakes, your vision would be incoherent due to the unbalance nature of your body." Ashura would extend this occurrence by making the world around his opponent seem distorted, and thus even more incoherent. As a result, it'd seem like the tremor and opponent's body being lopsided are the cause of his unstable vision. Once these are enacted, Ashura swiftly slams his hands on the ground, and causes several paper tags to traverse towards his opponent. His paper tags are imperceptible due to their likeness with the ground (Not that it matters much). As they reached the opponent, who by now is still unaware he's on a Genjutsu, they crawled up to his body quickly and then detonating, resulting to extreme damages on the body. Now these paper tags aren't going to apprehended due to the fact the Genjutsu doesn't only cause the world to be distorted, it also gives the opponent the impression that they are gradually being encumbered by a quick sand. This act would shade the opponent from apprehending the paper-tags as they crawl up his body.
(Doton: Yochi no Douyou) - Earth Release: World Shaking
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground
to create a small tremer that can result in making the enemies lose their footing
and fall to ground or miss the aim of a given technique.
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a simple and not to difficult to discern genjutsu. The user places the target in an illusion where they see the world around them heavily distorted, preventing the target from discerning his surroundings while within the illusion. The technique also gives the impression of the target sinking in quicksand and thus acts as a means to immobilize them slowly.
(Himitsu Kibaku Fuda no Jutsu) Hidden Explosive Tags Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
The user does a sequence of 4 hand seals (Tiger → Rat → Bird → Snake) or slams his hand on the ground or surface. Using his chakra, he is able to stream a multitude of paper tags through the ground and use his chakra to keep them hidden from sight. As they stream towards the target, they are undistinguishable from the ground, seamlessly merged with it. Nearing the target, they rise from the ground, "crawling" up the target. As they wrap themselves in lairs around the target, the user can choose when to detonate them, making a quicker, weaker detonation or waiting for more paper tags to pile in the target and adding more damage.
Note that the Genjutsu is casted as soon as the ground begins shaking. "Instantly" should better interpret the time of casting.

Sorry, nearly forgot about this. Here's a rushed move.
When Godot feels the earth begin to tremble beneath him he anchors his feet to the ground with chakra to better steady himself as he places both hands on the ground. From his hands he sends a current of electricity spreading through the ground, neutralizing the earth technique and sending the current towards you. The electricity races up your body, shocking and paralyzing you before Godot spits several sharp water needles at you at high speed aimed to pierce your neck, heart, and legs at the knees.
Rank: A
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialt
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: A technique in which chakra is kneaded in the user's body, transformed into water and then shaped into senbon in the mouth before finally being expelled at a high velocity. The needles are shot in an attempt to catch the enemy off guard, while also aiming at their vitals.

I do feel the Genjutsu should still affect you, since it's a swift corresponding attack. Anyway u.u
As Ashura caused the ground to quiver, he noticed his opponent steadily his balance, and placing both his hands on the ground. Out of zilch came a stream of electricity, which negated his earth technique and was traversing towards him. It seemed he had used the ground inherent ability to conduct electricity to neutralize his technique, Ashura thought. Immediately, he performed a single hand-seal, a testament to his affinity of earth. The ground between him and his opponent moves downwards in a depth of 10 meters, creating a wide trench that spans horizontally in front of both individuals. This was done to counteract the stream of electricity which moves perpendicularly into the trench, and diverges at the bottom. Conversely, he thought of moving into the air to escape the stream of electricity, but then he knew he needed to be in contact with ground and this is why. Not sooner than later, Ashura changes his contrivance and slams his hands on the ground. The ground beneath his opponent elevates at tremendous speed, unbalancing the man stance inbetween the process. The boundary of the elevated ground begins at the opponent's side of the trench made earlier. Now being that Ashura hands is already placed on the ground, he'd channel his chakra and create a portal eighteen meters above the earth's surface were a boar-shaped earthen lid appears. The elevated ground clobbers into the lid, resulting in a destructive collision that causes the opponent's body to turn to mush having being the intermediate in the middle of both attacks. During this time, Ashura would jump five meters backwards in case of the falling debris broken out of the lid.
"Apologies for being so callous. To be fair, it was quick."

Description: After forming the necessary hand seals Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger , the user slams their hands into the ground which causes the earth to erupt upwards or downwards below their target's feet. This technique can also effectively create barricades by creating large trenches or linear elevations that would take quite some time for a regular person to surmount.

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

Seeing you create a large trench between them, Godot knows his lightning jutsu won't reach and lifts his hands briefly only to slam them down again. From 10 meters above you a massive amount of water appears out of nowhere. Like a grand waterfall, it crushes you beneath it and flows toward your trench with Godot's guidance. This would cause you to be dropped into the trench while being submerged in a large amount of water.

Description: The user will slam their hands against then ground allowing him/her to summon a massive amount of water from the sky, crushing it into the opponent. If needed, the user can cancel the technique in an instant.
Note: The water needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent to have any real effect.
As you're falling, Godot follows up by extending both his arms and unleashing a high discharge of lightning at you. Due to being caught in the waterfall's flow you'd take even more damage as you're electrocuted by multiple lightning tendrils.
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60 +20
Description: The user extends both arms, releasing a high discharge through both palms, targeting multiple opponents simultaneously. It is possible to increase the power using this technique in combination with a water source. Working similarly to False Darkness, the held orbs split into several tendrils of lightning. If used against a target submerged in water, the strength increases +20.
Although Ushiro seemed to counter attack his foe's attacks with ease, I think Deoxy outdid himself. His moves were easy to read through and he had a good sense of how the RP and time frame worked. Never underestimate your opponents. It was a short battle indeed but I'd have to agree with Gobi's coin skills. Keep up the good work Deoxy.
